Cozy Creekside Cabin just a few steps from Lands Creek. Enjoy the sounds of rushing water just outside your window or in the rockers on the covered creekside porch! Outdoor fire pit for hanging out under the stars! Perfect for familes wanting to be as close to the creek as possible! Only 3 miles from downtown Bryson City, paved roads all the way!

Creekside Cabin With Large Sleeping Loft!

There's lots of flexibility in this cozy creekside cabin which sleeps 6. There's a private bedroom downstairs with a queen bed; and a spacious sleeping loft with 4 twin beds upstairs. The covered porch with rockers overlooks Lands Creek.

The Deer Run and Raccoon Retreat cabins have a covered creekside picnic pavilion between them. Their proximity makes for a good fit when more than one cabin is needed. The two cabins are virtually identical.

The host was warm and welcoming and everything you needed was there. The lighting in the bathroom was very dull, could be brighter. The cabin grounds and people where so nice!..Enjoyed the Christmas lights and camp fire. listening to the peaceful water flowing in the creek was peaceful. What a beautiful property you have! Thanks for the hospitality New Years Eve nights the band was great!!! Will keep this area in mind for next fall. Thanks for everything!

Property was easily accessible, clean, well maintained, picturesque. We enjoyed the small creek that ran in front of the property and the fire area was a hit as well. We also enjoyed the cabin itself and had enough room to spread out but also enjoy each others company. The ease of being able to get to Bryson City center area was a bonus too. We were away from the hustle, but close enough to explore. And it was only a 20 minute drive to visit Nantahala to watch the kayakers and visit the shops. The property owners were

Perfect getaway

We loved our time here. Beautiful property. Quiet and peaceful place to relax and enjoy family time. The owner and employees were very friendly and attentive to any questions we had. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future. We have recommended this resort to many family and friends to enjoy as well!

Motorcycle trip in the mountains

This cabin was just as advertised and just what we wanted. Everything was just right and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely come back again.

Relaxation does not get any better if you long to get away from crowds!

My husband and I have very stressful jobs and needed to get away from the masses a few days. Almost we t to the beach and I'm so glad we chose the cabin on the stream instead. Just what the dr. ordered! We even caught a few trout on the beautiful stream. Owners have done a great job to make you welcome and a superb job with their beautiful property! We love Bryson City so much we are considering retiring there! Will be back to the cabin on the stream to get a little closer to heaven!

Relaxing Stay

Great stay at the Raccoon Retreat cabin. The cabin was very clean and was stocked with all the basics. The creek in front of the cabin was great and the kids had a great time playing by it. Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the woods, but not too far from the area attractions.

Wonderful place

We spent 4 nights in the Racoon cabin. It was a beautiful location. Tucked in the mountains at the end of a long windy road. It felt like our own little hideaway. Ages were adult, 18, 16, 11 and 9 All had fun. Neat places to hike nearby and even a trail on property. We want to return in warmer summer weather to see the trees with leaves on them. I bet its even more amazing! (Visited late March)

A dream nestled in the mountains

The cabin exceeded every expectation! It was so charming, so cozy, so picturesque! The property has the perfect blend of a quiet mountain retreat but close enough to town to enjoy the shops and other sights. Very clean and all amenities to make it fell like home were present. Including forks for roasting marshmallows over the fire pit (complementary fire wood available)! We cannot wait to return. This time I’ll be bringing my extended family so we can all enjoy! Thank you, Robin, fir helping my little family make memories

Cabins by the Creek

This was a really fun place to stay. I did not like communicating through vrbo, but I understand why the owner has to use vrbo. Other than having to use a middle man to initially communicate, I was really happy with my stay. I’ll probably stay again but contact the owner directly next time.

Anniversary Trip

We really enjoyed our stay at the Raccoon cabin. The owners were great, and the whole property was clean and well maintained. We loved listening to the creek while sitting on the porch. We would highly recommend staying here.

We became a part of Bryson City and its people in July of 1999 when we purchased the property that would become Lands Creek Log Cabins. As with many of our friends, we’d visit the Great Smoky Mountains as often as we could and each time it was tougher to go back home. From the first time we drove into this valley and alongside Lands Creek we knew we were meant to be here.

Robin moved up to start working on the site and building cabins in July of 2000. Sue, along with sons Josh and Kyle followed in June 2001. What later became the Squirrel’s Nest Cabin was the only cabin here when we began.

Lands Creek Log Cabins is a business built by the efforts and belief of family and friends. It is a true “family business” in every sense.

By the efforts of many we have grown a great deal in our time. Our grounds are now at 100 acres and the home to 19 wonderful cabins and The Lands Creek Lodge. At the center of it and down by the creek is Harmony Hall.

As we have grown, we have had one goal at the foundation of our business: To touch peoples’ lives in a positive way and to provide the opportunity for memories.
