INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Convenient with amazing views!

Place was very clean upon arrival. The location is convenient with having a shopping center within walking distance if need be. Having a full view of the beach from my room made my stay even more amazing. I would love to make this an annual trip.

Good vacation

Property was nice and clean. Staff was friendly 24hr. Have everything we needed. great stay would come back. Internet did cut off the morning of vacation.. and check out was earlier than expected ( was trying to do a virtual visit.. had to switch to hot spots) also the TV in the bedroom had a static in the connection)… Overall great time at the beach..Algae is part of the experience!

Calypso towers

Our stay at the calypso towers was wonderful!! Our room code didn’t work the first night so we called and got a new room code in 5 minutes lol. I’d definitely suggest this place to anyone wanting a relaxing beautiful stay

Perfect condo for two! We enjoyed our get away!

Renting the property was super easy. Checking in was too. Things were pretty much as described or as shown in pictures. We bought a small frying pan for breakfast food because those in the condo were in rough shape. We will rent again if the two of us have an opportunity to vacation alone. Definitely will use Panhandle Getaways and VRBO!

25th wedding anniversary

We had a wonderful time! Location was perfect. Had some alone time with my husband and then flew our 3 kids in for 4 nights. Airport nice and close to Calypso. There was Something to do for everyone. The beach and weather were sensational. Pier Park fun for shopping. The unit itself was exactly as described; however , it could have been a bit cleaner (ie shower doors were dirty and a little moldy; the bedroom door and bathrooms doors were dirty with black hand prints). The furniture and decor could use updating as well. Maybe a little lighter and airier in colors. The check in process was simple and efficient. We will definitely go back next year but will most likely choose a different unit next time. Calypso is the perfect location for sure !

Great location--condo could use some updating/cleaning

Pros: --located right next to Pier Park, so traffic isn't as much an issue --bedroom is on the beach side, so you don't hear as much of the hallway noise (condo is directly in front of elevators) -- loved the wall paintings Cons: -- Condo was "clean" but needed a deep cleaning, brown streaks on walls in laundry room, bedding looked dingy, etc. -- Parking: Calypso requires a parking pass be scanned on entry and exit, resulting in a 5-10 minute wait every time we left or arrived because it wasn't working for cars in front of us -- Balcony furniture was two plastic chairs that I'm not sure would hold a larger adult, and the balcony was tiny.

Great location, amazing view, some minor things needed attention

This was a very nice condo that my wife and I both enjoyed thoroughly. The location is amazing as it is in walking distance of just about everything on the main drag. The beach was well kept, and they even supplied beach chairs so you didn’t have to spend the $40/day for the condo supplies beach chairs. The only complaints we had were as follows and by no means ruined our honeymoon. When we walked in the first night, we already felt sand all over the floor in the entry way and kitchen. The blinds to the bedroom were broken and didn’t open more than about 3 feet. Called panhandle getaways who runs the condo and they sent someone out to repair the blinds, and the repair man got there same day, but left us a note saying that the blinds could not be fixed and had to be replaced. Hopefully they get replaced for your stay. The last thing had to do with the requirements for the checkout list. One of the items said that the balcony doors had to be locked before you checked out. But the lock on the livingroom balcony access door was broken in the open position and could not be locked. Overall it was a great experience and we would return.

LoveCation! ANNIVERSARY WE

THIS CONDO IS ON THE BEACH!!!! This is the 8 th floor & your room is right by the elevators, it’s prime season & we didn’t have ANY issues with noise. You can see the ocean from your bedroom & living room and the view is AMAZING! Great for morning coffee & late night wine sipping! 😘 When we arrived I came prepared because I am a germaphobe, prepared to clean with my microban BUT felt very safe! EVERYTHING not only looked cleaned but looked new! The towels & wash cloths looked barely used & I LOVED IT!😂 The bedroom is king size bed & itfelt great!! The livingroom was very nice’ The kitchen was fully cleaned & stocked & even had champagne glasses that I loved as well because it’s our anniversary & we brought wine!❤️ The bathroom has a tub that we did use to have a have a romantic night 3 times & didn’t find any issues It was a plus as well. 🥰 If I could give any recommendations but by NO WAY TAKES AWAY ANYTHING!!! I would recommend a griddle for pancakes! 😂 I made pancakes In a skillet, not bad but not perfect either & yes we ate them, The second thing I would recommend is to REPLACE the patio chairs because this room is way too nice for them, we brought our own because we did read the reviews ahead of time. So over all if you’re looking for a really nice condo, close to the beach this is it!! Don’t let outdoor patio chairs hinder you just come prepared & enjoy! THANK YOU ! HUBBY & I HAD AN AMAZING TIME!!🙌🏽🎈🎈

Don’t use the pull out couch

This was a clean condo on the 8th floor, which is great to beat the elevator traffic. It was me, my husband and my two boys that stayed. The pull out couch was very uneven any looked like it was on its last leg- since my kids are young, they didn’t care at all, but a teenager or adult wouldn’t be able to sleep on it comfortably. It needs to be fixed or replaced. Also, the blinds don’t really shut all of the way, so if your looking to sleep in past 6:30am- you better bring a sleep mask. The unit really needs curtains instead of the broken vertical blinds. The kitchen was well stocked and the unit was clean. The AC worked great. Good location.

Great location

Not clean upon arrival (I had to clean) West building pool closed (side we were on) Air conditioning did not work for the first 48 hours Impossible to find cart to unload upon arrival Balcony furniture non existent (condo sleeps three and there were two plastic chairs) No pillows for sofa sleeper Beach chairs not included even though review said there were Kolby manager was helpful Placed 2 calls for air conditioning check before anyone came to look at it Had to have air conditioning tech in twice, first time he was on time, second time waited half and hour past eta Upon completion of air conditioning fix, there was water trail and splatter marks on walls and floors (which I had to clean again) Our cleaning fee was supposed to be refunded but not all of it was. Balcony wet and dripping due to maintenance on higher floors Cords and pulleys in view for every day except one due to painting crews Balcony was almost unusable because not enough seating, paint crews up and down multiple times, water drippage, crews on balcony, etc Slow elevators, lengthy wait most always Great location and could have been spectacular view

Awesome location

Great location. Beautiful unit. The owner has excellent decor. Soft bed, plenty of linens, and fully stocked. The beach was not crowded. At check In We had an issue checking in and had to call for the key code. We will book again!
