Our property features Cozy Cabins. Every cabin is designed for comfort and convenience. Every cabin includes a kitchenette, comfortable sleeping for guests, and a touch of classic Texas charm that makes you feel right at home. Step outside your door and you’re just moments away from private lake access, boat slips, and a fishing dock where guests often share stories, laughter, and the day’s catch. Spend your mornings watching the sunrise over the water with a fresh cup of coffee, your afternoons boating or swimming, and your evenings around the fire pit under a sky full of stars. Guests love gathering at our outdoor picnic areas and BBQ grills, playing lakeside yard games, or simply soaking in the peaceful pace of Hill Country life. Her favorite part of running Valentine is interacting with the diverse guests who make their way to the property, especially the kids she takes on golf cart rides to the donut shop.
Susan is a veteran bridge-builder and negotiator, spending most of her career in journalism and politics. At Valentine, she is focused on the behind-the-scenes details that make for a great guest experience.
The “chicks” tend to a productive chicken coop and a posse of dogs and cats that customers love to interact with. If Pat gets her way, pygmy goats will join the family soon.
