Weekend getaway

Newer property with beautiful furnishings and decor. Open concept that was great for our gathering of 8 to enjoy together. We had a few minor things to address with housekeeping, but the property manager was prompt and very accommodating.

Really beautiful home

We came for a bridge tournament with 2 other couples. We had so much fun...The home was beautiful and close to the tournament but far enough for a country getaway. We would come again.

great space and clean

This worked great for us. Although didn't have the views I typically like when in the area, we were on the go alot and this fit right in with our visit. It was a great location, had stuff to do (pool table, game station, nice TV's), and was a relaxing/comfortable setting. Would come back for sure.

Family get away.

Cabin was laid out perfectly for our group. Every bedroom had a bathroom connected. Kitchen very well equipped. Internet wasn't very good. Beautiful area. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Family vacation

My family and I rented this cabin in July 2020. It still had a new house smell to it. Very clean and in a nice neighborhood. Due to covid 19, we stayed in alot but we didnt complain because we had everything we needed in this cabin. From now on, we will stay at laurel estates!

We stayed at the Ivie Cabin, very nice and enough room where we were all comfort. The day we arrived we had a terrible storm which knocked out the internet. (Not their fault) Then my Granddaughter had to have emergency surgery on her appendix. So we didn't get to see or do the things on our itinerary.. but we left with a smile and blessings of the memories we made while there..

Great value and we saw a bear

Overall, everyone in the party was pretty happy with the stay at Ivie Holler. House was clean, well furnished and neighborhood was quiet. Pool a bit of a walk from the house but not far enough that made us not want to go swimming. We did see the local bear rummage through the dumpsters, which made everyone's day. Like everyone said, the internet is painfully slow so if you planned on doing something internet heavy, it may be a problem. One other minor complaint was the lack of coffee filters, which I was expecting since there was coffee maker on site. Kids like the arcade and pool table. Would definitely visit again!

Gathering

The property was just beautiful. Very clean and decorated so cute. I enjoyed my time away from home very much. A few things could be altered somewhat. Like the parking space is very small for more than one vehicle. Seems like you could add a foot or two so we don’t hit each other’s car with open doors. The internet was extremely slow but I think that’s a mountain thing. The pictures led you to think the pool was just outside the door. This is not true. Perhaps you should mention that. But overall it was a great experience and I would love to go back.

Beautiful Area and house but internet very spotty.

The house was beautiful and spacious. The neighborhood was ideal for our activities in Gatlinburg and GSMNP in general. I don’t advise using Xplorie for your activities because you still have to wait in line at tge eff be events, despite what the reps tell you on the phone (it’s a 3rd party). We were quite displeased with the spotty internet. When we called, we were told there were no more hot spots. Eden Crest shouldn’t advertise internet when it’s basically unusable. We left a day early because we couldn’t do work that needed to get done. There were also many work trucks and noise in the neighborhood from houses being built but we were warned about that aspect. The hot tub and big inside tub were awesome: I bc would stay there again with better internet.

Brand new cabin with a game room, hot tub and plenty of space.

We had a great vacation at this cabin. It was a little more expensive than other cabins we rented in the past, but it was well worth the extra cost. Kids loved the pool table and I didn't realize how addicting Pac Man can be. We loved the hot tub and the bathrooms were extra nice. Couple of notes: Upon arrival we had two maintenances issue that were fixed ASAP: inop hot tub heater and clogged kitchen sink. They were quick to fix and really appreciated the management company taking care of it fast. Kids loved the hot tub. There is both a Kurig machine and a Coffee maker, along with a blender for smoothies and icey drinks. There isn't much parking at the cabin. Two car max. Not an issue for us as we only had a minivan, but it's something you might want to keep in mind. Food City (grocery) is less than 10 minutes away. Mad Dog's ice cream is a good spot, but is extremely busy. Take time to visit the small shops on Glades road. Kinda neat, and you'll meet some interesting people. Try to stay away from going through Gatlinburg starting at 11:00 am. Lots of traffic. Use the bypass.

Gatlinburg Vacation 2020

House was perfect for our group of 9. The only.problem we had was the hot tub had not been cleaned. We did not use the hot tub until the 2nd night. It had an awful odor and scum around the sides. When I called the next morning to ask to have the hot tub cleaned they wanted to charge me $35. It was an argument to get it cleaned no charge. A short time after we were told they would clean the tube we received a phone call back telling us they would have to charge us for the cleaning that they had pictures to prove it was cleaned. Again after a lot of arguing they agreed to clean the hot tub. I have pictures to prove the scum around the edges of the tub. The smell in the kids swimsuits was so. As it did not come out after being washed. With all that is going on with COVID very disappointing that they don’t do a better job cleaning the hot tub & that you have to fight to get what you paid for because you did not use/report the hot tub in the first 24 hours. The house is beautiful and well stocked. Beds are top quality. Our group had a great time! Only suggestion is to make sure you inspect the house top to bottom upon arrival including the hot tub. Anything outside of 24 hours you have to fight with Eden’s Crest. The management company needs to remember customer service is what they are there for. Not sure who owns the house but they might want to have a conversation with management company. I am not sure I would stay again after having to fight over a hot tub. It is the little things that make a big difference when you are in vacation and make the stay pleasant.

Great Trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ivey Hollar. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. I was extremely surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked with small appliances and cookware. We always bring a few items but did not need them at this cabin. The cabin was very spacious and had dining table that would seat our entire group. The only issue we had was a delay with checking in. They were not finished cleaning the cabin when we were supposed to check in so it set us back. However, Eden Crest was very accommodating and apologetic regarding the issue. The staff was extremely kind and worked to fix our issues. It was a much more pleasant experience than when I have had issues with other cabin companies. I will be using this company again!

For years we have been looking for the perfect place to stay in Gatlinburg during Christmas. We finally found it this year. Ivie Holler was incredible! It was everything we wanted and more. It was fully furnished with everything we needed, was cozy, clean, and beautiful. We will definitely be staying there again!

Great (not perfect) cabin

The cabin was, in general, a great property and my family did enjoy their vacation in the mountains! This is our 2nd VRBO in the mts and won’t be our last. Positive: The cabin was in a great location with easy access to town. There was some construction in the neighborhood but we didn’t notice anything once inside and we were able to enjoy the outside without much disturbance. This particular cabin was one of the better located properties in the neighborhood, IMO! The kitchen was stocked with most everything. The bathrooms had extra toiletries which was appreciated. The outside siting areas were great!! All furniture/furnishings were nice quality and beds were comfortable. And the house in general was very clean!! Negatives: Unfortunately this cabin has some flooring issues in the kitchen which required us to wear shoes in the kitchen. The flooring is vinyl wood floors. I’m not sure the cause but the floor piece were buckled, separating, and pulling up. Barefoot meant occasionally stepping on a corner/edge and poking your foot. Wearing shoes meant occasionally catching your shoe (like a flip flop) on the separation/buckled part and tripping. It was quite annoying as there were different sections of the kitchen where the floor was messed up. I did let management know and they had someone come out but I’m not sure that anything was done. I think the real answer is to re-lay new flooring! We also had challenges with getting the fireplace working and the hot tub hot. Both my husband and father in law fiddled with it multiple times. We spoke to management and they said they would have someone come look at it. We were finally able to enjoy the fireplace and hot tub but it was the last full day of our stay. It would have been nice to have them working from day 1. In general, the house is beautiful but the construction has some issues. I know those things arnt a major problem… but the flooring in the kitchen (IMO) is a major problem that needs to be fully addressed. And if this cabin didn’t have damaged kitchen floors, it would have gotten a 5 star review. Note. The house did not have coffee filters or a Kcup reusable refil. So if you’re a coffee person, make sure you bring all of your favorite coffee items.
