The Perfect Getaway! Newly Remodeled 4 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Home

The Zenda Farmhouse is a newly remodeled year round rental located across from the historic Zenda Farm. The home is situated just outside the Village of Clayton, 1.5 miles from the main stoplight and 1.9 miles from Clayton's downtown shopping and dining district.

The interior of the 2 story home has been completely remodeled in 2019 & 2020 and offers accommodations for up to 9 guests. The home features 4 bedrooms (3 queen bedrooms and 1 with a trundle bed and twin bed). There is a bathroom located on each floor with a fully handicap accessible shower on the first floor and a shower/tub unit on the second with towels provided. Guests need to bring their own toiletries.

Each bedroom and the living room is equipped with a flat screen television, and the house offers high speed internet (WiFi)

The kitchen boasts of new appliances and cooking basics. Step outside the kitchen to a back deck with a table and grill for outdoor dining. Guests need to bring their own paper products. There is a new washer and dryer on the first floor as well.

The garage has room for 1 vehicle inside, and there is plenty of outside parking. The attached mud room has ample space to store your luggage or for our hunters and fishermen storage for guns, fishing gear, clothing, etc.

9. Walking Trail: Across the street you can enjoy an early morning walk or jog on the 1.5 mile Zenda walking trail, or adjacent NY State French Creek Wildlife Preserve.

Reservations are taken for weekly rentals only; check-in Saturday 4pm and check-out 10am. Multiple week discount available.

We recently stayed at this wonderful 4 bedroom house for a wedding weekend in Clayton, NY. It was the perfect location and the house was everything you could ask for. We had a group of 5 and we were all extremely happy with the house.George was excellent with his communication and even took time out of his day to run something to the house that we needed. The kitchen is huge and loaded with appliances. The backyard is huge and had a nice deck area to sit and relax. There was also a grill which we took advantage of. The living room was spacious with a huge tv and the rooms all had tvs as well. It was only a 5 min ride into the 1000 Islands where the hotel and shops are. If you're coming into Clayton, this is the place you want to book!

Lovely country home

We loved this house! It was well stocked, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The ducks next door were very entertaining and we loved the preserve across the street. Very quiet and peaceful!

Excellent location. Across road from farmland trust that has walking paths. Near other nature trails. No problems during our week, but owner was friendly and available.

A Farm House in the country

My family of 6 had a nice time visiting Clayton NY and the Thousand Island area. The house is spacious and had a little room to store our bikes. There is a pond near by that we walked to and visited with the ducks. There is a bedroom on the first floor and 3 bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen was bigger than I thought. It was clean and not too far from town.

Very comfortable house in a great location

Comfortable house with lost of amenities. Fully stocked kitchen. Two full baths. Comfortable beds. New washer and dryer. Nice deck out back. Small porch in the front. The garage to put your car in. Great location. Wonderful place to walk right across the street. Host is very friendly and accommodating. Well-kept grounds.

Thousand Islands Getaway

Beautiful newly remodeled home minutes from downtown Clayton and 20 minutes to TI Park. We had friends at the park and it was a short ride to see them. Sleeping accommodations were perfect with comfortable mattress and calming decor. The twin bed room with trundle bed was perfect for our granddaughter who was excited to have her own room. The living room was spacious as was the eat in kitchen. Kitchen was beautifully stocked with everything you would need to prepare and serve meals. Lovely deck out back overlooking well landscaped yard and impressive gardens. Very handy to have a grill out back as well. The host George Kittle was very accommodating and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised with the complimentary bottle of wine, a nice welcoming touch. Labeled light switches and directions for check out process was helpful. We spent a lot of time at TI park visiting friends but Clayton is a place I would return to and definitely stay here again. What is advertised is exactly what you experience! 1000 Islands NY Getaway

We enjoyed our stay here in the Thousand Islands region of upstate New York immensely. You will find George, the homeowner to be a gracious host, and more than welcoming. Unbeknownst to him until shortly before our arrival, there was a problem with the air conditioning but he scheduled a service right away and had it fixed by the next morning. It very minimally impacted our stay and he stopped by to make sure that we had no other needs, which we greatly appreciated. The location is ideal, just outside of the picturesque riverside village of Clayton. We enjoyed walking on the trail around the historic Zenda Farm which borders the house to west and north and has been donated to a local land trust, so in all likelihood this property will continue to remain in a peaceful and idyllic setting for years to come. Overall it was a great experience, and should we come back to the area, we would certainly give utmost consideration to staying here again.

Family Visit

We have family in the area and needed a place to stay. This house fit the bill. Very nice bedrooms, kitchen, living area. House was very clean. Great access to beautiful Clayton. Even had a sliver of river in the view from the house.

Thousand Islands 2022

The house was great. Ample living space for our family of 9. Rear patio a bit on the small side, but still adequate for gathering. A bit "out of town", but still only 5 minutes away from Clayton. George was a fantastic host- very easy to respond to questions or concerns that we expressed. We appreciated his close proximity (back yard neighbor) to the house when an issue with flies arose. August Stay at Zenda

The house has a great location - so close to Clayton and right across from Zenda Farms. The house was perfectly clean and exactly as pictured/described. The back deck was fantastic and the kitchen was well supplied. Check in and out was very easy with George, and he was easy to contact if needed. Would definitely stay again!
