Brand new luxury beachfront cottage with private section of sand for your personal use. 3 bedroom 2 bath professionally decorated. Sleeps 6. King size master bedroom looks out at the ocean and beach. View of beach from Master bedroom, living room and kitchen.

This is a quiet retreat on the west side of Oahu. Relax in our brand new beach house - outdoor living at its best. A 300 square foot covered deck is a wonderful place to relax and gaze at the ocean and drink a mai tai. Seating for six around a teak table is the perfect place to gather for a sunset barbeque. New Weber gas Barbecue is provided. From the deck, a grassy yard leads you to the beach and the turquoise Pacific Ocean beyond. Lovely sunrise and sunset views.

Located in quiet, established, working class neighborhood on a quiet dead end street with little traffic, A private driveway and covered parking lead to the home. Ewa Beach is a thriving town with nearby grocery stores, small shopping malls, and restaurants. Golf courses abound. There are beach parks nearby with surfing, boogie boarding, and fishing. We are about a 45 minute drive from Waikiki, a 30 minute drive from the Honolulu airport. The beautiful west side resort area of Ko’Olina is minutes away. You will find Disney’s Aulani resort, the luxurious Four Season resort, and fine dining options at nearby Ko’Olina.

You will enjoy relaxing in our living room with two comfortable sofas, an easy chair, and a 75 inch Samsung smart TV. Our home offers high speed Wi-Fi throughout. Want to retreat from the world, but still get some work done? This is the perfect place.

Kitchen is a dream! Walnut cabinets and state of the art appliances will make it easy to enjoy cooking. Counter stools for three at the wide island seating area.

Each bedroom is beautifully decorated with tropical Indonesian furniture and original island art.
Owner is a local artist and has given the cottage a special touch!


Whole house fans system and fully air conditioned.

You will not find a nicer or newer property in the Ewa Beachfront area.

Situated on a 12,000 sq. ft. Beachfront lot shared with another cottage.

In accordance with City laws the minimum rental period is 30 days. City Ordinance 22-7 requires the following statement: “this property may not be rented for less than 30 consecutive days. Rental prices will not be reduced or adjusted based on the number of days the rental is actually used or occupied.” The law does not require that you plan to occupy the property for the full 30 days. Best place to spend February in my life ever.

The pictures don't do this house/location justice. John and Linda were there to welcome us and were so gracious in accommodating our check in time. The place was super clean and so comfortable....and absolutely heavenly. There was air conditioning, which we didn't need but would in the summer, lots of windows with screens to keep the ocean breeze blowing through the house. After a week we felt like "this is our home." Everything was fully stock hair dyer, washer/dryer, stocked kitchen. Being only 3 yers old, everything was in such great condition. Lots of places to sit and lounge, inside and out. I can't get over the most magnificent view available. It's in a neighborhood but very private. The neighbor was always bring in our trash cans. We are coming back next year fora month. thank you John and Linda for sharing your spot in heaven with us.

The only thing missing from this slice of heaven is an angel or two.

You'll be blown away the minute you step through the door. Amazing direct ocean views once you step past the entrance. This beach house has top-notch finishes, huge ocean-facing windows, tasteful yet comfy furniture, state-of-the art televisions, comfortable beds with quality bedding. And that kitchen! You're going to want to take it home with you. I know I did! I was surprised at how well stocked it was, too. From spices to cookware to bakeware to dinnerware. We cooked our Thanksgiving dinner here. There's a covered lanai with lighting so you can sit outside listening to the waves and looking at the stars all night long. The backyard is a nice sized grassy area with a very short fence to separate it from the sandy beach area. The beach area has an upper terrace with a short sea wall drop off to the beach that abuts the ocean. That portion of the beach varies in width as the tides change but it's relatively narrow and very lightly used by neighbors. IWe bought a hammock to hang between the palm trees for a relaxing place to stretch out and read. There are a few negatives but the pluses far outweigh them. We've booked another month already. The neighborhood isn't very walkable and looks a bit down at the heels. Our biggest issue was with the neighbor's barking dogs. Multiple times a day, they'd get set off by something and bark for minutes at a time. One owner will screech at them to stop which is as bad or worse than the barking. At least they're little dogs.

Perfect for all of us

Me and my family all loved our stay at this modern and spacious beach house. Walking to the little backyard beach with my coffee in hand every morning was my favorite part. We had plenty of towels, blankets, and kitchen items for the whole stay. Highly recommend staying here!

Finally gathered with friends and family after years apart. This place was perfect for our group. Relaxing and private! It’s also centrally located…. Aulani was super easy to get to as well as Honolulu (which you have a view of from the beach). This place was wonderful and we would definitely love to come back again!

Amazing getaway

Mr John was more than amazing. He responded quickly to ensure our stay was pleasant. They home is right on the beach with a great outdoor seating area. I would definitely recommend and cannot wait to go back.

Amazing!

Our stay in Ewa Beach was amazing! The house is beautiful and exactly as the picture show. It was like home. We stayed with our four adult children and the rooms were a perfect fit. Such a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the ocean right out the back door. We explored the island of a Oahu and loved coming back to the beach house at the end of the day. The kitchen is well equipped, the family room comfortable for six adults. John and Linda have thought of everything! There were beach chairs, snorkeling gear and boogie boards. The laundry room was well stocked with supplies as well as first aid supplies, sunscreen and beach towels. The home is in a residential area which we found delightful. The neighbors were friendly, including the dogs next-door who like to greet us each morning. We enjoyed the location so much and it is so close to everywhere we wanted to go. We will definitely reach out to John and Linda again next time we are on the island. I can’t recommend this home enough.

Hello Ocean!

This house was exactly as it was pictured in the listing. We went for almost the whole month of July with myself, husband, our 2 boys (5 & 10), step-daughter and her fiance. There was enough room for everybody, the boys enjoyed the yard and having the beach right there was perfect for body boarding and sea shell collecting! The location made it a great base to go do other things all around the island. It was nice to get away from the crowds of the other tourists and have some space to ourselves. They had everything there we needed to entertain ourselves and for any beach trips we went on. We would absolutely rent this place again. Thank you John for such a wonderful home and helping us to make lasting memories with our kids!!

Beautiful Ewa House

A modern and stylish vacation beach home directly on the sand. From the moment we walked in the front door until our last day there, we loved this house! It appears to have been recently remodeled using the best materials and workmanship. The host was very helpful and accommodating at all times. We would definitely return to this property.

Where do I even start! This house is absolutely amazing. John didn’t skip any detail in the house. I wouldn’t have changed a thing. I have never stayed at a vacation rental that looked better then the listing pictures! We loved waking up to the beautiful view. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. John and Linda were great! They met us the morning after we arrived and told us some great places to take our family to. We never heard any roosters but we did hear the lady Nextdoor yelling at her dogs constantly. She would yell at them even when they weren’t barking. She was actually more annoying the dogs barking haha but we didn’t let it bother us. The only thing I would say is if you are getting a larger suv the parking space was SO tight for us and a hassle to park each day. We loved all of Linda’s art all over the house. The master bath shower was so awesome. We hope to stay again next year!

Little piece of paradise, SEA for yourself

My husband and I along with our 1 year old twins, teenage daughter & in-laws had the best time in ewa and this property was perfect for us! The neighborhood is a very local area with friendly neighbors. We were always waved at while driving by. Our neighbor to the right had dogs that would run and play in her yard. I’ve seen a complaint about her yelling at them but we didn’t experience that at all. Both neighbors were lovely. When you walk into the home the huge bay window looking out into the lush green yard, beautiful patio and waves will take your breath away. We drank coffee on the patio almost every morning and enjoyed watching boats and paddle boarders pass by. We swam With our older daughter quite a bit and loved the outdoor shower to rinse off. We walked with our babies along the shore too. We slept in the master with the windows opened and enjoyed the sound of crashing waves. We never turned on the a/c at all. With the windows open and the cool breeze it was perfect. The bed & pillows are so comfy! I need those pillows for my own home. There are plenty of dressers & many shelves in the laundry room/closet. There was everything we needed for laundry already stocked too! The shower heads are phenomenal by the way. The large shower head above makes you feel like it’s raining. Great pressure too. One of our favorite things was all of the extras this home has. There were tons of beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel sets, toys, beach shoes & even beach bags to carry everything. We had rented a suburban and had plenty of room to park under the covered patio. The kitchen is beautiful and has everything, I mean everything you could possibly need! There is a nice big tv with comfy couches & it’s very cozy. This home worked out so great for our family and was great to come home to after exploring the island. Just so you know there are plenty of things close by. There are gas stations, grocery stores and restaurants super close. This home is beautifully decorated and has the top of the line everything. If you rent this property you will not be disappointed. I couldn’t have ask for anything more! John& Linda were great also, they respond right away! Can’t wait to go back!

Spectacular views, seriously amazing place, safe/friendly neighborhood, A++++++

Stayed there for ~2 weeks with my wife. One of the best places we have stayed in over the world, and we came here after a few days in a 5 star hotel. We'll be back. The location and views are unbeatable. You literally take one step and you are on the beach...which is far, far less crowded vs the public areas. You won't find anything like this in Hawaii on the strip. The moment of joy waking up every morning to the view and sunrise is one of the best The house is top notch and modern, incredibly clean, and decked out with everything you might need. John and Linda considered every detail -- from having coffee, to all the grill utensils, to a bag for you to bring on your travels going out snorkeling, to having an umbrella to shield you from the shade, shoes to wade out...we noticed all the details. Anything we wanted to do in Hawaii, there was something prepared One of the best experiences was being able to step out to the beach everyday and fish, snorkel, swim, watch sunrises...and then come into shower and clean right afterwrads You can see the critical feedback in other reviews, but in our/my opinion, those are minor details Our stay vastly exceeded my expectations, and communications with John + Linda were top notch. I am shocked they are willing to share their newly renovated property with the world, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for peace and bliss

The Best Place I Have Ever Lived

I love Hawaii and O’ahu. This is my fourth family trip in 6 years but staying for a month in this house was without compare one of the best months of my entire life. My only regret is that it was booked and I didn’t get to stay another month. I’ve been to places twice as expensive and glamorous but there is no other home I’d like to stay than here. The house is in perfect condition, spacious, super comfortable, airy, flooded with sunlight, everything you need. But what makes this home so unique and unforgettable is the magnificent view of which no picture could ever do justice. Huge floor to ceiling windows that look out onto a deep green, soft, manicured lawn, and behind that the majestic ocean. When you walk into the house, it is just breathtaking. Standing at the window or outside watching the sun come up every morning is so magical that it is surreal, truly unforgettable. Every day brought me immense joy. We did not feel the need to go anywhere else. The ocean is literally in the backyard. My kids went swimming every day. I loved the sound of the surf, deeply relaxing, and it gave me a profound sense of peace. The house is completely refurbished and so well designed. The kitchen was open to the living room creating a wonderful sense of space. But best of all - EVERYTHING WORKS!!! – and it works immediately, obviously, in every way that it is supposed to with no guessing, no fussing, no workarounds. I have rented a lot of houses over the past year and none of them worked like this one. The A/C units were fantastic and individually controlled in every room. The TV is fabulous, huge, great soundbar, a real home theater. Internet cable for watching the news, all the streaming services (already set up for guests). The internet was fast, glitchless. It accommodated 4 very active users with no drag or slowing. The beds were super comfortable. The blinds allowed you to take in the full view or make it as dark as you wanted. Plenty of room for putting things away, a walk-in closet, washer and dryer (the appliances are all new, there is even an induction stove top). There is a Safeway, Long Drugs (CVS), Walgreens, Starbucks, Walmart, Macy’s, parks and beaches all within 5-10 minute drive. I could rhapsodize for much longer about this home but apparently I have reached a word limit. I can't recommend this place enough. I've stayed at places twice as expensive that couldn't compare. I'll be back!!!

White Collar House in a Blue Collar Neighborhood

John and Linda (our hosts) are amazing. They were more than happy to greet and help us. The house is brand new and it is outstandingly beautiful with tremendous attention to detail. We stayed for 2 weeks during covid and cooked almost every meal in the amazing kitchen. We worked during our stay and the WiFi was able to accomodate all 4 of us. The beds are comfortable and the sheets and towels are top notch. The backyard was incredible . . . my daughter danced and I did yoga and meditation daily out there. The ocean temperature was magnificent and we swam twice each day!! The neighborhood was a little surprising. One next door neighbor was delightful. The other neighbors were constantly yelling at their dogs, and it even woke us up in the middle of the night. Additionally, fireworks were set off nightly and that also was shocking. The beach is not appropriate for small children due to how rocky it is. Water shoes are a MUST due to the rocks. Finally, the neighborhood roosters were surprising at first, but we got used to them and learned of their Hawaiian origins. I am trying to be as honest as possible in the review, and I would give the experience a 4.5 stars out of 5. We loved the visit and we would return to John and Linda's magical house. I just wish I knew about the neighborhood before hand so I was prepared.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Very clean ... spacious ... well-designed spaces to facilitate socializing ... top-of-the-line appliances ... ample yard space ... with AC but did not need it because natural air flow cooled everything. LOCATION: Local neighborhood ... quick access to super market, drug stores, and other conveniences ... and best of all direct access to the beach (just step off the patio, cross the yard, and step onto the beach! AMBIANCE: Fell asleep to the sound of the ocean ... large deck was perfect for enjoying breakfast, lunch, and dinner outdoors ... gas BBQ was great for grilling steaks ... The whole environment provided us with a perfect get-away to relax ... we highly recommend this experience.

My wife Linda and I have lived in Honolulu for over 50 years. I am a retired airline pilot. I have owned this special property for 10 years and just finished building a custom house for our part time enjoyment.

This house is located on a Sandy Beach that sees very little use. You will have a strip of sand that is located on the property that is exclusive for your use before the public beach.

The house is new as are all the furnishings.

Almost all beachfront homes on Oahu are required to rent for a minimum of 30 days. If you want to stay for 2 weeks or so that is your option. The overall cost for a family is less than paying the nightly rate for two or three hotel rooms. You will have access to your own beachfront and a full modern kitchen. You will love this house and your vacation.
