Live the sophisticated beach lifestyle in this large, ideally located duplex featuring 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms just steps from the sand, sun and ocean (plus 2x the living room space, kitchen, and common areas compared to other single-family homes with the same number of bedrooms and bathrooms).

We know what`s important to travelers... we`ve ventured all over the world ourselves.

This luxurious getaway, located in the heart of Mission Beach, provides the perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, distance from points of interest, and value.

Location (all times listed represent driving distance unless otherwise noted):
- Walking distance from the sand, ocean, and bays
- Walking distance from all the fun in the sun that Mission beach and its boardwalk has to offer, including dining, shopping, and fun attractions.
- Walking distance from the Mission Market grocery store
- 10 minutes from tons of common stores like Target, Dick`s Sporting Goods, etc. in Point Loma
- 15 minutes from the world-famous San Diego Zoo
- 15 minutes from Fashion Valley and Mission Valley shopping
- 10 minutes from Sea World
- 15 minutes from Balboa Park
- 15 minutes from Downtown, Little Italy, and Old Town
- 20 minutes from airport

You will have full access to the entire apartment.

While we are available should you need any advice, you will have complete privacy.

Mission Beach is world renowned for its beautiful beaches, vast boardwalk, and the historic Belmont Park with the nearly 100 year-old Giant Dipper Roller Coaster. It`s also the home to San Diego`s beach volleyball scene. Whatever suits your fancy, it`s all there in Mission Beach.

Mission Beach is conveniently located within walking distance of a plethora of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, nightlife, and an amusement park, as well as a few short blocks away from city bus stops, and a convenient Uber/Lyft ride away from the rest of San Diego.

Due to the nature of buildings in this very popular and high-demand beach destination, the room configurations are unique. This building is a duplex with two separate apartments and you will be renting both together (so you will have the entire building).

The larger apartment is two stories and the entire second floor is actually a loft bedroom (with its own bathroom) that is separated from the rest of the house by a staircase and has privacy shades that can be pulled completely closed to allow for full privacy.

While the other rooms are normal bedrooms, one of them can only be accessed through a bathroom or through the master bedroom (there is no direct access to the living room, kitchen, etc. from that bedroom). Feel free to reach out if you need further elaboration on the unique layout of this space. Most guests do not have issue with this, however we always want to make sure we are setting the proper expectations so there are no surprises.

The second apartment has a more traditional layout consisting of two bedrooms, so there are no special considerations to note here.
Please see our auto-reply that is sent to you immediately after you make a reservation as it will require a response within 24 hours. We may also require your e-signature for a rental agreement, and a link to that agreement will also be provided in the same auto-reply.

By booking this property, you are acknowledging that you have read and will abide by the Good Neighbor Policy outlined below.

GENERAL
Standard check-in time is 4 PM and check-out is 10 AM. We thank you for not smoking and not bringing any pets onto the premises.

Please ensure that the total number of guests you specify in your booking is accurate, including all infants and babies of all ages, and let us know if that changes. We will only accommodate those guests specified and no more above and beyond that number, especially due to municipal codes regarding occupancy.

NOISE & GATHERINGS
Due to the residential nature of our neighborhood and out of respect for our neighbors, we have a strict policy against social gatherings or any other loud/disruptive activities, especially after 9pm. This also means no visitors (anyone not already accounted for in the booking and already staying here) at any time. Our property manager lives nearby and he’s had to ask guests to leave in the past for throwing parties.

OCCUPANCY
Please note the maximum occupancy and number of bedrooms specified in this listing. The maximum number of guests, including all infants and children, shall not exceed this number at all times.

SAFETY
There may be cameras present on the exterior of the property. Please see the listing for further details. Cameras must remain clear and not be tampered with or blocked in any way.

STAYS LONGER THAN 30 NIGHTS
The booking site does not have a mechanism for recurring charges, but as a benefit to both us and the guest, we do require a recurring cleaning of the unit to be scheduled once every 2-3 weeks at an additional cost equal to the original cleaning fee each time, and this would include cleaning of towels and linens. This is charged separately for each individual cleaning.

FURNISHINGS
Moving existing furniture out of the apartment or new furniture into it without consent of the host is strictly prohibited. Moving large furniture within the apartment from one room to another is also prohibited as our housekeeper may not be able to physically move it back once you depart.

PARKING
Parking details are specified in the Amenities section of this listing. If there is no reserved parking, please observe all posted parking restrictions when utilizing public parking.

TRASH & RECYCLING
Use blue bins for recycling, green bins for food waste, and black bins for everything else.

INFANTS & BABIES
If our space is listed as child-friendly, it’s because we’ve had many families with infants request to stay. While we’re happy to host those groups, please note that we do not provide cribs, pack and plays, or infant bedding, so plan accordingly if needed. However, if our space is listed as not suitable for children under 12, that means we are unable to accommodate young guests for safety or comfort reasons.

COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT
We are pleased to provide you with internet service during your stay. By utilizing our internet connection, you agree not to download, share or otherwise use others` copyrighted content, such as movies, music, computer games or television shows without proper authorization

OTHER
We understand that accidents happen. If anything breaks during your stay (e.g., a wine glass, photo frame, vase), please let us know right away so we can clean it properly for the next guest. We generally don’t charge for small items or decor, so don’t hesitate to reach out.

We trust your stay will be a pleasant one, and we would be grateful if you would consider leaving a positive review following your visit. Should any concerns arise during your stay, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can resolve them promptly.
Please note that, in line with Airbnb’s policy prohibiting compensation in exchange for reviews, any courtesy refunds will be issued 14 days after checkout.

If a guest violates these house rules, an incident management fee of up to $500 may be charged to cover the administrative time, travel, and effort required to investigate and resolve the issue. This fee is separate from any additional costs related to damages, extra cleaning, or penalties for specific violations.

CITY REGULATIONS
The City noise limits pursuant to Municipal Code sections 59.5.0401 and 59.5.0501, and remedies available to the City to address and enforce violations, including the issuance of individual administrative citations in an amount up to $1,000 to each guest and to the host. Upon a failure to vacate by the expiration of the occupancy term, guests may be deemed trespassers and may be subject to removal by relevant authorities Pursuant to Chapter 5, Article 1, Division 10 of the Municipal Code, if the police are called to address public peace, health, safety, or general welfare issues, guests may be responsible for the cost of the police response.

Great family rental

Great Location and Great Property

Check in was super easy and the property managers were super easy to communicate with.Both the upstairs and downstairs properties were perfect and super cozy. The location was great with easy access to the beach and within a block to the market & Liquor store! If I ever need to come back to SD, I'll certainly try to re-book this property!

Great house for families, great location!

We came to San Diego for a family wedding. The house was perfect for our family, with my family staying in the bottom unit and my in-laws staying in the upper. Steps to the beach, restaurants, and shops! We had a blast and very much enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful Family weekend!

Our family had a great time staying at both units of the property. We picked Mission Beach because it was close to both our sons’ schools, SDSU and USD. The place was ideal for our sons to come down and join us for the weekend, since our oldest was turning 21. The beach rental was so clean, wonderfully decorated, had all the needed essentials and had so much room for 12 family members, made up of 3 generations. From grandparents to the grandkids, everyone had such an amazing time. The upstairs unit and front patio was especially roomy enough for everyone to gather. Having a market and a few restaurants within walking distance was so convenient and we loved that the volleyball courts were just a short walk down the paseo to the beach. The one parking stall that was provided was not a problem at all since we all found street parking for the rest of our families’ vehicles, when we arrived on Friday afternoon. We hope we’ll be able to book here again someday soon. We love San Diego!

Great Family Gathering Place

Our family of ten adults and a toddler and infant had a wonderful week here, with easy access to ocean and bay beaches, with room for gathering in the upstairs unit. The upstairs/downstairs provided some challenges, but we managed. Great beds, clean and easy to keep tidy. The week went all too fast.

Family Retreat

Great location steps from the sand. Parking for up to a midsized car is a key benefit. Great communication. The place has high end appliances, is clean and comfortable. Also has beach chairs, and toys for the kids, outdoor furniture and a grill. Everthing you need for your stay.

Fantastic spot for all ages and stages! Location, location, location!

The house was clean and stylish. Downstairs is a very private 2 bedroom apartment that adjoins the patio. Upstairs apartment is the social spot w/ a bigger kitchen - dining - living room combo with tall ceilings and a nice little cocktail deck. These rooms are less private than the downstairs rooms, but that worked just fine for the tweens and teens and my sister (mom/aunt of the teens). We loved being able to walk a block to the ocean (boogie boarding!) or the bay (less wind, fewer people... great for smaller kids, too). The tween / teens LOVED being able to walk to Belmont Park by themselves. We bought them an annual pass, so that they could come and go as they pleased. We brought a few of our own bikes and loved being able to bike to brunch or just for fun. So much to do in this area without getting into a car :).

Perfect Location

I took my employees on a "team building" weekend to this amazing property. The location was top notch, as we could walk to almost everywhere. The property was clean and conducive to what I wanted to achieve for the trip. Ample community space and enough private space for 8 adults. Perfect.
