This beautiful, spacious home is perfect for your next family retreat. You'll have access to a shared pool for those warm, summer days. After a day on the water, you can come back and snuggle up on the comfortable couch and watch your favorite Netflix series on the flatscreen TV. The fully-equipped kitchen features everything you could ever dream of to prepare the most delicious meals for everyone.

What's nearby:
Bear Lake State Park is less than a mile north and offers swimming, boating, fishing, and more! If you need a snack, you can grab a bite to eat at the Bear Lake Marina as well as rent a variety of aquatic gear. You can go skiing and snowboarding at Beaver Mountain Ski Resort or go hiking on the Limber Pine Nature Trail. For an evening of fun, the family can eat at the Pickleville Grill and then catch a show at the Pickleville Playhouse. You'll have plenty to do both summer and winter!

Great stay

This home worked perfectly for our trip. It was clean, comfortable, had all the amenities we needed, and it was in a great location, close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

My favorite place to stay at Bear Lake

We really love this place—it was a wonderful stay overall. The house is a great size for our family and felt comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location couldn’t be better, with easy access to both the lake and the pool house, which made our days especially enjoyable. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, though it was missing a few key items like large spoons and a medium-sized pot. Even with that small issue, this home had everything we needed for a great trip, and we will happily stay here again.

Great Getaway

We stayed for three nights and had everything we needed. The house is located in a great spot and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home. Excellent communication during check-in and check-out. Would recommend.

Great house, great location

The house was cute and had everything we needed. I love the location, you can walk to the marina, or the grocery store in minutes. It’s about 1-2 miles from down town Garden City so it’s also close to restaurants and shopping.

Beautiful, comfortable home

We have stayed in this home for three years in a row for our Bear Lake vacation. It has plenty of room for our family of 6. It is comfortable and has all the necessary amenities. It is a short walk from the pool which we went to every day. We love this place!

Tucked away behind mikes market place, this has everything you need. Not far from any activities. House was is 98% good condition, small things here and there, but not a deal breaker for sure.

Wonderful House and Great Location

I loved my stay at Lochwood Getaway. This house is within walking distance of a great new supermarket with a Beans and Brew. It's also close enough to the marina to walk to see the lake and all the boats. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and there were even cute toys for my kids to play with. 100% recommend this place.

Perfect Location

We absolutely loved everything about this place. It was so close to the market and Marina. It was exactly what we hoped for. Very clean, modern and even a little space in the backyard to chill, play cornhole, and grill. We will be back!

Cute Place

The property was great! The 3 twin bunk beds are in the living room, separated with a curtain, and there's 2 additional bedrooms. I was confused by the pictures, but it worked for our group. There were a few spiders and spider webs along the top of the high ceilings, (which is understandable) and the 2 car garage had a lot of sand in it, but overall it was really clean. There were a bunch of things in the garage that could be super helpful to know - they had a cooler, some beach toys, and inside the house they had a bunch of books to read and games you could play. For the price, this was a great place.

Some good, some not so good

Loved: close to pool, and grocery store. Big kitchen, nice appliances, nice master bedroom/bathroom. Lots of linens and water toys. Didn’t love: couldn’t check in on time because they were still cleaning the unit. Checked in 1/2 hour late because of this. There were no large serving spoons, outside table was dirty, rug under kitchen table was a tripping hazard.

Can’t wait to go back!

This house was perfect with all the amenities we needed and close proximity to everything. Super clean! We loved the labels in everything, it was so helpful and saved us time. Kids loved the pool which was a short walk around the corner. If you’re going to see a show at Pickleville this is the perfect place to stay and make a fun weekend of it. We can’t wait to come back :)

Great for families

This was a really fun house for our kids. The backyard had fun games and furniture that was nice to relax in. Our kids loved the triple bunk beds and we enjoyed being within walking distance of the market and just minutes from all the fun in town. There are a lot of supplies in the home for cooking meals that saved us from going out which was great. We would definitely stay here again. The nautical theme around the house was really nice as well. Someone put a lot of effort in to make it feel like a home.

Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed this location. It was very clean and organized. I loved all the little extra things that made it feel like home. It was close to the lake and town and you could walk to the grocery store. I liked the lawn chairs in the garage to take to the beach. It is well taken care of and I liked the text right when I got there that asked how things were. I highly recommend this location!!

Nice Place

Every year my family camps at Bear Lake, but my parents and I prefer not to sleep on the ground. We have stayed in many different vacation rentals and we often find them very worn down and not kept in a decent condition. I was excited to find this location. It was clean and it seemed that more thought was put into it. Such as the life jackets and beach toys in the garage! That was a great idea to leave for people to use. It was very nice to come back and be able to throw our swimwear in the laundry at the end of the day. The beds were still very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked! We loved the rocking chairs on the front porch. And I LOVED the small patio area with the cornhole game was awesome! It's the little things like that make quite the difference. I kind of wish the second bedroom had one more queen sized bed in it, in case more couples wanted to share the space with their families. But honestly it was great for us. Truly no complaints! We wish we could have more time here. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic weekend getaway!

Very clean and well organized home. It was only myself and a good friend wanting to be in nature and still enjoy the comforts of home. This would be great for a family with younger children. Loved we could walk to the marina and close to a paved trail. Loved the back patio area! Plenty of room for a large family’s with kids.

Amazing

The house is beautiful with everything we needed. Even for the lake- cooler, umbrellas, chairs, etc. The beds were comfortable, and the location was great. The hosts were very easy to work with and quick to respond. I have stayed here before and can’t wait to go back. You won’t be disappointed.
