Beach access, central location, popular community on Kiawah

This adorable first floor villa is located in the popular community of Mariners Watch (#4276). This is a great location, its just across the parking area from beach access, right across the street from Night Heron Park (playground, kids activities, nature center, basketball and soccer facilities), and just a few blocks away from The Sanctuary hotel (great restaurants, shopping, and spa!). There is a comfortable eat in, fully equipped kitchen. Just off the cozy living room is the screened in porch, the perfect spot to relax after a day on the beach or golf course. The large master bedroom has a queen sized bed and renovated bath, there is also a sleeper sofa in the living room for guests.

There is no grill available, nor is one allowed, due to Kiawah Island safety regulations imposed upon villas.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience but ask that the rules be followed to avoid fines or dismissal from the island

As our guest you will receive:
Access to Kiawah's 5 Championship Golf Courses – including The Ocean Course – the location of the 2021 PGA Championship; The Kiawah Island Resort Tennis Center - #1 ranked by Tennis Resorts Online; the Sanctuary spa, shopping, dining, and family friendly resort activities including Kamp Kiawah. Free Wireless Internet Access; Local Property Management staff is on hand in case of emergencies and their friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff can assist you with any needs throughout your stay. Property does have linen included. Additional housekeeping services are also available during your stay (mid-week clean or daily trash and tidy). Guests DO NOT have access to the resort pools (Night Heron Park, West Beach, or Tennis Club).
If you have the time take a short trip (35-45 Minutes) to Charleston, America's most charming southern city. There you'll find world class dining, shopping and lots of history to explore.

When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights (not available in low season, late Oct to mid Mar) you will receive a valuable credit of up to $210 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required.

Upon booking you will be sent a rental agreement to review and complete online. Your booking is not confirmed until this document has been submitted.

Kiawah Getaway

Mariner’s Watch is a great location. My unit was just walking distance across from the beach and right next to the Sanctuary Hotel. The place is nicely decorated and the checkin process was easy. I would stay there again.

Incredible location and Space

Everything was just perfect! We loved the location and the space could not have been more perfect for what we wanted for our Anniversary weekend! We will be back!

Nice location.

The condo location was great and the size was just right for two people. The screened porch was wonderful. The bath needs an update, but otherwise the unit was clean and had everything we needed.

Great Beach Access

When I mapped the location, it looked like we had to walk down a road to get to the beach. The Boardwalk was literally across the parking lot from our front door.

Smaller than we usually rent

The property was in a great location. Beach access was excellent. Interior space was just enough for my daughter and I since we were out all day. The kitchen was tight on food storage areas. Overall a pleasant stay at our favorite vacation destination.

Kiawah Getaway

After issues with getting into the villa, lock box would not work initially until calling an emergency number and being told to use our car key to push a button in, and then the second key in the box did not work for this villa, a replacement was dropped off, but it also did not work the lock, we were finally able to enjoy the villa and the beach. The villa was clean and just as advertised. Great location to the park, beach, bike trails, and all we were hoping to explore.

Great Location

This little condo had the perfect location. Less than 2 minute walk to the beach, and walking/biking distance to the Nest Cafe. However the condo could use some updates. The screen on the screened in porch was ripped and “repaired” with tape, the blinds in the bedroom were damaged (able to see in the bedroom from the outside), and everything was just a little old. Ending up having a few cockroaches at the end of my stay as well.

Cute little condo

Bed was advertised as king and in fact a full. Not comfortable for two people. Window faces east and has no means of blocking out the sun. There is a venetian blind bit does absolutely nothing to block daylight at 5 am. Other than that, was a cute property.

Thank you so much for your feedback! The bed in the unit is not a king, it is a queen sized bed and is advertised as having a queen bed in the listing description and bedding list as well. We do apologize for any inconvenience on this, it has not ever had a king bed though having a king bed placed and blinds updated is a great idea for our homeowners and will forward your review to them for ideas on how to upgrade the property. We hope you will be back again soon!

Hi and thank you for your feedback. I apologize the property wasn't exactly what you were anticipating and so you were disappointed in your visit. We are extremely careful to describe our properties accurately in both the listing description and the photos. The description and pictures are very clear about the location to the beach and the entrance steps (the second picture shows the set of steps to enter and we have drone images showing the location of the building to the beach as well) and the very first line of the description reads: "This adorable first floor villa is located in the popular community of Mariners Watch (#4276). This is a great location, it's just across the parking area from beach states the location to the beach and does not say "ground floor" as that's nearly impossible this close to the ocean, units do need to be raised off the ground in case of storms and flooding, insurance and building codes require that I'm afraid. All units that close to the beach have steps or have an elevator if its a certain height due to building codes. I'm happy to help find the perfect place for any of our guests, if you need more assistance when booking please ask us any questions to clarify so you aren't disappointed in your visit. For the bike switch, during peak summer weeks they do sell out of inventory which is why we recommend booking in advance, they were unable to make the switch that quickly as they did not have the inventory to spare I'm afraid. There is a height recommendation on our bike rental page for reference.

Good location can use some updates

We enjoyed our sstay overall there was 1 issue we came back to tke a nap but culdnt because the whole section of units were being loudly pressure washed. I called the offic eshe just said there wasnt anything sceduled for that Saturday? We just went out for several hours while they finished. You could hear the up staits unit -people wqalking but I guess thats to be expected. The units location was good & we enjoyed our stay otherwise. We visited the fresh market along with other shops & restaurants there. We also visited Salty dog on seabrook since its so close.The only drive is out to the oceancourse we went there for lunch. very pretty. For the price worth the stay would reccomend it.

Has potential but greatly needs updating

Location was perfect. All areas need fresh paint,n sprucing up. Recommend purging/streamlining/organizing unnecessary items in cabinet/drawers so cabinets can actually close. Need spatula. Sliding door very hard to open and close. LOVED the screened in porch as I did not enjoy the couch area, just felt grungy. Only 1 key was in box. I left 2 notices to notify company so we don't get charged 85 for missing key. Never heard back so called a 3rd time so they could document missing key. For the price I'd give this a 6/10 as it was just OK. Loved Kiawah but would look for other accommodations next time.

Perfect size for 2, a bit tight for our family of 4- kids slept on pull out sofa in living room and had to close it up every morning. But unit was clean and comfortable. Kitchen, while small, has all necessary cooking supplies. And we did cook a couple of nights. The screened porch was a wonderful spot to sit and relax. Also made good use of washer/dryer. ESMP was very communicative and appreciated the gear rental credit. We used it to rent bikes which is part of the Kiawah experience. Overall very good value.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our unit was small, old, and could have used a good cleaning. The lighting is very poor, the only bath very small, and we were glad not to have spend too much time in our unit as it was kind of depressing. The only good thing was the maintenance man who was helpful.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved Kiawah Island and especially the bike trails. The villa was mostly clean except for a stain on the sheets. I had to wash them. It was well decorated but I think the doors need some repairs. The glass slider was so very heavy to try to open. I think the rollers are worn out and need repairing . Also the main entrance door was very hard to open , had to pull hard towards you and wiggle key. I think in this day and age a digital electronic key would be so much easier. Getting the key from the lock box wasn’t easy either. We rented a condo last year that had a digital keyboard on the food! It was awesome !

Very close to the beach

The condo is one bedroom and one bathroom, but had a sleeper couch. It is very close to the beach, maybe 3 minute walk at the most. Location is perfect. The pool and Night Heron park are right there too. Condo is within walking distance from the Sanctuary hotel. We enjoyed our stay at the property and really appreciated screened porch. The owners have a guest book to sign. I thought it was a very sweet touch.
