Dear Thomas, Thank you for pointing out the Pros Regarding the Cons, I have to reply Aged Rusty & Smelly No Window Screens for Fresh Air . The house was built. by Nobel Prize Richard Feynman in the 60’s. After acquiring it some 10 years ago, we remodeled the house, added another bathroom but we did not want to change the architecture , nor the rustic charm as we wanted to preserve the spirit of Richard Feynman. We specifically did not want to add any screen to the windows as we and most of our guests enjoy the free ocean breeze flowing into the house. We never had any complaint about this, you are the first guest to object to this. The house is facing the ocean, it is very possible that when you checked in you felt the humidity in the air if this is what you mean by smelly. Old Bathroom Matts , these have been replaced Dark Bathrooms, Yes the bathrooms have no windows, Gross Closets and Drawers .The closets are the original closets , they are painted periodically as the rest of the house No Washer / Dryer . It is very clearly stated in our site that we do not have washer and dryer, but when asked about it , you had the opportunity to hire the housekeeper to do your laundry Felt Dirty All Around. We take a great pride of providing our guests with a clean house, most of our guests in this site and in other rental sites are giving Casita Barranca a 5 stars for cleanliness. Slow Internet Wireless Very Limited only usable in Livingroom. Casita Barranca is in Mexico, and not in a big city, unfortunately it happens that sometime the internet speed is slow specially if there are many users around. We just purchased a new system and the speed has improved tremendously Multiply photos of same bedroom with different décor. I do not completely understand this statement ? was there any lie about these photos ? In a nut shell, Casita Barranca is not trying to be another house or condo in a sterilized Resort . This is a charming and very comfortable casita on the beach that appeals to most our guests as a refuge on a peaceful and gorgeous beach

Dear Tanya, I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. I am sorry that the way back to the border was such a nightmare. You have to consider that it was a Holiday weekend, therefore a lot a traffic.. You might consider getting a Medical Pass on your next visit . It does help shorten the wait at the border. Dear Christy, Thank you for your review. I am glad that you enjoyed our house and our beach I am sorry to hear about the ant infestation. The house is sprayed regularly against bugs and ants . Ants appears when there is a big change in weather and humidity as we are experiencing now. If food is left unattended, then they can really thrive and invade the place. I wish you would have told me when the problem started. We will have taken care of it. It would have been an easy fix We have an excellent product that is very effective. I am a little bit disappointed that you did not communicate with me once you arrived at the house. I always send an e-mail or a message to my guest at their arrival making sure that they are comfortable and to let me know if they need anything. The strange thing is that we have been communicating back and forth prior to your trip, I am sorry that you choose to not contact me about this problem The stairs are uneven, the house being built on a cliff, made it a bit challenging on building spacious and low stairs, therefore we have handrails till the last steps to the beach, there is also an easier way to go to the beach to the right of the stairway II hope very much that this won’t discourage you to come back to our little piece of paradise Amelia
