BEST STAY EVER!!
Everything about our stay was practically perfect! Communication w Judy was great, check-in w keypad access easy, manager Juan spoke good English, was friendly and helpful. Location is convenient to both beach and La Quinta. The new Chedraui supermarket is a few blocks away, with ATM, great selection, open til 11pm.
The Condo was beautifully appointed and well thought out. The listing photos were realistic. It felt homey with quality furnishings. The patio facing the pool was surrounded by tall tropical plants providing wonderful privacy with air flow plus a ceiling fan for mid-day heat. The back patio was shaded-quiet. Design and flow felt great. We didn't need the ac very much.
My husband & I are retired and came to Playa for medical tourism. He walked down Fifth Av to the Dentist and I easily caught a cab to my Holistic Clinic. We discovered a few sunrise and sunset meditation events on the beach at the end of the road. Calle 38 was calmer than El Centro and had lovely restaurants (Amate 38 was our favorite), big trees, and a mostly mature expat crowd.
The property was spotless, tastefully furnished, had laundry soap, toilet paper, purified water, and basic cooking utensils. We rented a car twice for day trips from nearby America Car rental with relative ease and drove to Ek Balam-Xcanche Cenote-Vallodolid and another day to Eden Cenote, Ixchel Jungle Spa and dinner in Puerto Morelos.
The pool was lovely with an outlet.
