Spacious, luxury, air-conditioned family home/ vacation rental.

6 bedroom, 5.5 bath, pool home on the 24 hr manned, premier gated community of Emerald Island.

Emerald Island is a beautiful, lush tropical landscaped resort. One of the closest to Disney just 2.7 miles to Animal Kingdom.

Un-overlooked, south facing, larger than normal, pool with spa which backs onto a nature reserve ensuring total privacy. Extra-large covered lanai with extra-large pool deck. This ensures shade is available and you can enjoy meals and drinks outside as seating stays dry whatever the weather. This is a must have feature. Donā€™t under estimate how important this is in Florida.

An ideal property for multi generation family holidays with 4 king masters with en-suites and two twin rooms.

Well equipped kitchen with dining area, open plan to the family room with cathedral ceiling. Separate lounge at the front of the house leading into the dining room. The two lounges providing an opportunity to socialise or have some privacy and quiet time.

Ground floor, wheel chair accessible, master bedroom. King bed and en-suite with jet bath, separate shower, separate WC and double vanity unit.

First floor, 3 king size bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms with shower bath, WC and vanity unit
2 themed twin bedrooms with a shared bathroom - bath shower, WC, vanity unit.

The games room is themed with a pool table, Foosball and electronic darts. We have 6 bikes which are available for guest use around the resort.

Computer workstation area on upstairs landing with fast 500 Mbs Wi-Fi. Smart TVā€™s and cable TV in the family room and all 6 bedrooms.

Free to use baby equipment includes three pack and play cots, two strollers a high chair and a video baby monitor available for babies and toddlers. For safety we have stairgates, door alarms, and a pool safety fence.

Ideally located a few minutes from the main club house and in sight of the security gate, giving easy and quick access.

Resort amenities include a gym, communal pool, sauna, computer room, mini golf, tennis, basketball, shuffle board courts, childrenā€™s playgrounds, walking nature trail. Socialise at the Tiki bar at the club house serving food and drinks.

Fast, easy access to Disney, theme parks, water parks, local shops, restaurants, golf courses. Beaches on the East and West coasts are 60-90 minutes drive.

The host was fabulous about communicating and felt like we knew them before our stay. So personable!The home is beautiful and there were so many amenities that we felt at home and had everything a person desires while away from home (including an apple slicer). It was such a comfortable stay and we are very glad we chose this home for our time in the Orlando area.

This house is absolutely beautiful! The themed elements are so tastefully done. It is also very well equiped. We had everything we needed to cook a full Thanlsgiving dinner! The pool and lanai were great. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of closet space. Overall a great place for a multi-generational family vacation.

You Should Absolutely Stay Here!

This home is beautiful and so well taken care of. The owners are great at communicating and provide everything you could possibly need.Everything in the house is labeled and the instructions are easy to follow. All the kitchen utensils and cups/plates. So many towels and bedding supplies. The outside pool area is elite and perfect for having pool days with plenty of kids toys. The location is absolutely perfect and just 10-15mins to Disney and 25ish to the other Orlando Theme Parks. I will absolutely stay here again!

Lovely family getaway

Property was lovely and as advertised. Price was great too - house had all the amenities for a family with kids of all ages. Pool was lovely. This house had everything we wanted!

This is the third house we've rented for our Disney vacations and the first to have everything important to us:1. The four king bedrooms, each with its own attached bathroom gave our group of 6 adults (two couples and two singles) perfect privacy to withdraw to after exhausting park days. There are also 2 additional bathrooms (one is a half bath) so no one ever had to wait.2. Location! We stayed in Davenport once and found the drive to the parks from there very stressful. This house has easy access to 192 without having to deal with I-4 to get to Disney properties. 192 is definitely busy, but at least during our visit did not tend to get backed up. It was also very easy to run errands to Publix, Walgreens, Walmart, etc. Emerald Island itself is very pretty and park-like.3. The house itself is very clean and well-maintained. We never saw a bug during our 9 day stay. The hosts were easy to contact and very responsive.Do note that this is not a party house. Also, to keep the house in such good condition, guests are asked to follow some simple guidelines like not putting food trash in the outside trash cans (it either goes in the quiet garbage disposal in the kitchen sink or to Emerald Island's conveniently located trash compactor) and using the racoon latch on the outside trash can. Pretty easy stuff.We loved the house and would gladly stay again!

Mid July Stay in perfect home very close to Disney

Well kept property for larger groups with great size pool deck and outside space to suit a larger group. Lots of very nice touches to make a stay easier such as selection of ponchos available for when rain is expected - simple things that save you having to go out and purchase your own. All kept in very good order, location being so close to Disney parks makes such a big difference as you save so much travel time. Resort is very well maintained, gated and safe. A perfect home for a holiday, would recommend to others without hesitation.

A Wonderful Place!

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Ohana Retreat. We had everything we needed. It was very hot in Florida while we were there. This made it especially nice to return from the parks and relax in the beautiful and private pool. The convenient location of the house at the front of the neighborhood was an added bonus. It is a wonderful place!

Life in the dream house

Janis and Tony have hosting down! There home was gorgeous, the property was well maintained with lovely landscaping, and the attention to details was much appreciated. I have never experienced such thoughtful hosts. There was a snack and tea upon arrival. Plenty of games, toys, bicycles, and books available for use. Ponchos, hair dryers, after sun care lotion too. It was a home away from home! The notebook full of helpful tips for local outings was nice with some ā€œinsider infoā€. They even had hurricane supplies in boxes neatly labeled up in the pantry. The house was immaculate, TBH it was nicer than my own house lol. I also really liked that we had no neighbors behind us or on the left, so there was plenty of privacy in the pool area. I am very grateful to have found this beautiful property available for our family getaway. Thank you Tony and Janis for being such meticulous and thoughtful hosts! Also Gregg and Lou are doing an excellent job of keeping the place up

Disney Vacation

We loved our week at Ohana Retreat! Communication with host was excellent, with quick responses. The house fit our family of 12 perfectly and had lots of extras. It was super clean and easily accessible to all the parks. We highly recommend and would definitely return.

Perfect Family Christmas

We stayed at Ohana Retreat over Christmas & New Year. We booked many months before and the communication with Janice & Tony was easy and made us feel comfortable even before we arrived. We had stayed on Emerald Island before but this was the first time at Ohana Retreat. The villa was exceptionally well equipped & clean throughout and the pool area was fantastic, SW facing and caught the sun all day, If you wanted shade there was a comfortable covered patio furnished with plenty of seating, tables and sun beds, more than we expected. The bedrooms, bathrooms and en-suites were immaculate and from some of the other comments Janice & Tony continue to upgrade and are responsive to guests comments, although we couldn't think of anything that needed upgrading, it just felt like home from home. If we get back to Orlando there is nowhere I would rather be than Ohana Retreat. Thank you for making us so welcome.

Great for our Family Reunion

This was a very beautiful property and very responsive owners. Every question was quickly answered regardless of time of day. The amenities were ideal for our family gathering. The heated pool and spa were perfect for the good weather days. When we had to move inside the game room was great for our family competitions. Got to love the electronic dart board!! The property description was very accurate and it was by far the best provisioned one we've stayed at.

Perfect Stay

We stayed as family of 9, 5 adults and 3 teens. The house was perfect for our group. Emerald Island was lovely and in very convenient location, which was about 20mins from Disney & 30 from SeaWorld / Universal, again ideal. The house was very spacious, the light on the landing area with the big window added to the spaciousness. The house was also very well equiped allowing us to cook meals on days we wanted to eat in. It was a home away from home. We had a couple of (very minor) problems, but the owners were in touch immediately to resolve what they could and sent someone to fix a plug within a few hours of us mentioning the issue. Communication was fantastic, as was their willingness to help with tips for getting virtual queue and helping us when we left something in the villa after our stay. The pool area is also an absolute dream, not overlooked and so private and peaceful, In all, a wonderful house to help make a wonderful holiday. Just a shame we didn't have more time to enjoy this lovely home.

Perfect!

Property was perfect for our visit to Orlando. It is great inside with plenty of space as well as having everything you could need. The pool area is particularly nice as it looks out into the woodland and so you have a great amount of privacy during the day and evening for those downtime moments between the park visits! Communication before and during our visit was really good and the location for getting to the parks is spot-on. Overall, a fantastic property and owners - highly recommended by our entire family!

Great villa for a large family.

Great villa backing onto nature reserve. Four large double bedrooms and two twins. Owners were very helpful responding quickly to queries. Reality matched the website description. Would happily stay again.

Perfect busy holiday escape

Beautiful property, spotless, and perfectly positioned. The pool was lovely for the kids to play around in during downtime away from the parks. Very close to all the main parks, easily accessible by car or when using Uber/Lyft. Only one neighbour so you get a nice feeling of privacy, and itā€™s a lovely clean and safe feeling resort too. Thank you so much for making our special holiday so comfortable.

Like a dream!

When we arrived, our middle child said, ā€œThis place is like a dream!ā€ And I have to agree with him. We stayed at Jancis and Tonyā€™s retreat in late March with our three young children and our parents (grandparents) - 7 people total - during our Disney/Universal trip. We were fortunate to get a tour from the hosts themselves when we arrived, who were lovely and showed us how to use everything, including the safety alarms, pool fence, and baby gates on the stairs, which were wonderful to have with our very busy toddler. They even left some Easter chocolates for the kids! The home itself is spotless, has plenty of space and bedrooms to spread out, loads of bathrooms and every comfort and amenity you could want. It is beautifully decorated (we even had a fresh tropical bouquet) and is so well equipped. The kids especially enjoyed the themed bedrooms! We all spent lots of time in the beautiful lanai, swimming in the pool, enjoying the hot tub after long days walking in the parks, and having some drinks in the evening. The TVs were great and connected to streaming platforms without any issues. The grandparents took our toddler over to the playground on a rest day where she made some friends and enjoyed climbing and sliding. :) We couldnā€™t ask for anything more and we wouldnā€™t hesitate to recommend this beautiful home to friends and family! We hope to return someday! Thanks Jancis and Tony for everything!

Beautiful house! Enjoyed pool, hot tub with a private wooded backyard! Excellent communication with owners! Would definitely stay again with family! Bonus free miniature golf course and playground within walking distance of house!šŸ˜
