Immaculate 5-Bed/3-Bath Home with Private Pool!

Real Escapes Properties is proud to present one of our favorite properties ā€“ 1204 Demere Road! This 5-bedroom, 3-bath cottage is a spacious and airy floor plan. Better yet, it is pup friendly. And for a most exclusive feature ā€“ there is a private pool that can be heated for an additional charge in the fenced-in back yard!

You will love the shiplap walls with just enough color added throughout the cottage to know you are in a special place.

All of the appliances are brand new, including the wine cooler. The dining room table seats 4 comfortably, and there are additional seats at the island bar and next to the dining table. The living room features a large 55" TV, as well as new relaxing furniture.

The Master Suite is on the main floor and features a king bed, large TV, en-suite with beautiful walk-in shower, and a master closet large enough to live in. There are two additional bedrooms on the main level, both with queen beds and TVs. Between the two bedrooms is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

Two additional bedrooms are located upstairs. The first bedroom has a set of twin beds and the other has a queen bed. Both bedrooms have their own flat screen TVs and ceiling fans. The upstairs full bath has a shower/tub.

Your biggest decision might just be deciding whether to sit in the front porch rocking chairs as you ease on until twilight or to gather on the back porch that overlooks your own personal swimming pool. (Pool can be heated for an additional charge of $450 per week.)

There is plenty of room for family and friends. The comfortable beach dƩcor will have you wanting to stay longer. This adorable cottage is close in proximity to King & Prince Beach & the Village!

ā€¢ Group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (12 persons).
ā€¢ A maximum of three (3) dogs are welcome (additional $100 non-refundable deposit per pup) (No cats allowed).
ā€¢ .5 miles to the King and Prince Public Beach Access, 1 mile to the Pier and Village area
ā€¢ Only 4 vehicles are permitted at the property. No vehicles are allowed over the speed hump in the driveway, as that is another private driveway. No exceptions - NOT even for loading and unloading.

Minimum age to rent is 25. This applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families.

ā€¢ There are 6 TVs located in this property.
ā€¢ Linens (bath towels and bed sheets) are provided along with a starter supply of toilet paper, soap, paper towels and trash bags (Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.)

Our family enjoyed the house and the amenities. The pool was perfect for our grandchildren. We wish we were a little closer to the beach. The adults could walk without issues but the younger grandchildren could not walk. The house was perfect for our family. The number of rooms and bathrooms worked perfectly!

Great house and location

We had a great time in SSI. The house was perfect. We enjoyed the backyard, pool and solo fire pit. Great location to shops and restaurants. The driveway/parking area was a little difficult to navigate.

Pretty house but a few things to know

The house itself is a perfect size and well done. It fit everyone comfortably and has ample living space. Our only complaints were that a lot of the rugs, though clean, seem to be covered in animal urine stains and the towels also seems dirty and super used. Finally, the tap water was almost unbearableā€”the smell of sulfur made it difficult to even shower. Iā€™ve been to SSI so many times before and have had no issues with tap water (and during this trip, I had no issues anywhere other than this property). Finally, make sure you bring toiletries for the shower. There werenā€™t even travel sized ones available upon check-in.

Also the location of the home is perfect, only a few minutes drive to Massengale Beach and to the pier/shops. I do wish the parking spots could be bigger for a 5 bedroom house but we were able to make it work with 2 trucks and a car so that we didnā€™t block the house behind us. Would stay here again!

Lovely Time

We booked this house for a week in late February/early March. My husband and I were unable to go due to a sick pet but but my sister in law was able to still go with a couple of friends. I was a little hesitant to rent the home based on several of the reviews that complained about the parking situation and nasty neighbor. Our party followed the parking guidelines and had no problems at all. The home was immaculately clean. We would not hesitate to rent this home again in the future.

This home fit the bill. It is a beautiful new home with a pool and fenced in yard. The home was very well equipped and and clean. My only dings are the King sized bed should be replaced and the water pressure needs to be checked as it was weak at best. With those two items fixed we would rent this home again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would describe our stay as bittersweet. The house was beautiful and spacious - just what we needed for 8 guests. The trip to the beach was fine with the golf cart. The owner had plenty of supplies on hand for our use in the kitchen and bathrooms. That said, there were only two parking spaces with no explanation on how to handle other vehicles for an expensive rental that sleeps 12.The residents behind the house sent pictures to the leasing office and called repeatedly about how we were blocking the drive. This was inaccurate. The office left rude voice mails based on the feedback they had been given by the nasty neighbor, again which were not true. We had three cars parked (and running) for a few minutes to unload and load and never blocked the drive. I didn't appreciate the tone and inflammatory way this was handled, again at such an expensive property.

There were a few areas of concern. 1) The 16 inch Webber grill was totally inadequate for nine people. 2) The Bosch refrigerator was great but again the ice maker was Inadequate for nine people. 3) The back deck between pool and house was very slippery when wet. This was pointed out in two previous posts and should be remedied ASAP to limit owners liability exposure.

Reviewer Comments: I rented this property for my son and his family as an overflow house for our larger family who were staying in a bigger house 3 driveways away. All of us checked out the house and were envious of how great this house was. It was clean with a great layout and the closets were massive if you had to set up a crib. And there are tubs for bathing babies/kids which was fantastic compared to most rentals. The only ding would be the house sleeps 10 but the table only seats 4. Otherwise, I would highly recommend.
