Black Gem Cottage is a quaint, former fisherman's terraced cottage set in central Whitby, North Yorkshire. With two bedrooms, one first floor twin and one second floor double, as well as a first floor shower room, this cottage can sleep four people. There's also an open plan living area with kitchen, breakfast area and sitting area. There is parking in a nearby public car park five minutes' walk away (charges apply), and the beach, harbour and amenities can all be reached within a short stroll. Black Gem Cottage sits in a fantastic location and offers a contemporary base whilst retaining plenty of character.

Town: The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire with its superb coastline and the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
