Gruene is hopping! Walk to all the Live music, dining and shopping....all at your fingertips. You don't have to leave Historic Gruene Texas to stay in Luxury! Gruene Hall is three doors away! Enjoy elevator access that opens up right next to the front door and step into your spacious Penthouse with gorgeous views on your wraparound private large deck. Nestled along the banks of the Guadalupe River, sit poolside in the refreshing waterfall pool or enjoy the shopping or nightlife of historic Gruene. But you'll feel right at home with high speed internet and cable television. The kitchen is an open concept which offers all the amenities needed for cooking, serving and entertaining. The bar top seating and large family style dining table will accommodate all of your guests. There is a pool table between the kitchen and family area. The family room boasts a large leather (new Nov 23) wrap around couch and other seating. Each of the bedrooms has its own full bathroom. There are 8 beds appointed with luxurious linens. There is a large washer/dryer in the unit as well. This unit does not allow pets. Housekeeping follows strict CDC cleaning guidelines.

Walk to all the Gruene restaurants, live indoor and outdoor music spots, shopping, shopping and sightseeing! A short drive to Schlitterbahn and steps to tubing or fishing in the Guadalupe River. You can enter the river from behind the unit and tube, fish or swim( don't forget to wear a lifejacket). Two charcoal grills sit on our riverside decks with seating.

The place was great and very roomie. The view off the back was really pretty. Easy access to the shops; walking distance! So magical this time of year! It’s like a little hallmark town. We loved it:)

This was the perfect rental in walking distance to restaurants, shopping and live music. The amenities were perfect for the 8 of us who stayed and will definitely return in the future.

There was 8 of us and this place was absolutely perfect !! Perfect location and plenty of room ! Very clean and host was great at responding to any questions. We will definitely stay here again if ever in Gruene.

Great location

Nice, clean condo right in the middle of Gruene. It worked great for our large group as we could all come and go as we pleased and walk to lots of cute shops and restaurants. The pool is great for cooling off and the river access was nice to have.

Perfect location and layout

You never know for sure if the listing and photos are doing the property justice. This place is awesome. Super clean, amazing space and literally steps from everything in historic Gruene. Highly recommend!! Only improvement we would suggest is fixing the pockets on the pool table and maybe some new pool sticks.

Large and spacious accommodations

Perfect for large family or friends gathering. Located within walking distance of all things Gruene. Pool and river access if you want it. Host was exceptional and lightning quick with responses.

This was our annual family vacation held somewhere different every year . This was a great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. A few miles to schlitterbahn and river raft rentals . The pool table was a nice touch also . Lots of room on the patio deck for everyone (16 of us )

Great spot in Gruene

Place was excellent for a large family weekend. Location couldn’t be better! Beds were very comfy! Balcony is perfect with amazing views. Living room furniture is a tad worn but not bad and the fact that is was a very large sectional couch made it so everyone had a spot. Closets were locked in the bedrooms which was strange but totally fine. Pool table was so fun. We loved it here and will be back!

Spacious Property and Walkable Location

We enjoyed the ample space since traveling with relatives. Everyone had privacy and room for the kids to roam. Ideal location to walk the small neighborhood with access to a variety of shops, restaurants and etc. The only concern was the railings on the balcony. Several were loose and on the verge of breaking. We had a 2, 4, and 6 year old and didn’t really get to enjoy that space due to the safety concern. Otherwise, great layout and space for multi families or groups.

MANY MANY MANY THINGS that they need to fix before renting this place out again!

We stayed here for a weekend getaway with family from out of town. For the amount of money we spent to stay here, we were beyond disappointed with this unit. (Although the view from the balcony is great!) Afterwards I sent a lengthy email to the property mgr describing what we experienced and the only thing she could say was “sorry and we will work on it…”. So… before renting this unit… I would CONFIRM with them that they have actually made the changes I suggested… there are so many things they could do that wouldn’t cost them much money… and it would make this place awesome. Until then… you should know that this is a rundown place that they don’t take care of. Here’s the condensed list of what I told them… 1. Take locks off all bedroom closets. The locks mean that you had no place to hang/put your stuff since there were also no dressers in 3 of the rooms. 2. Fix bedroom door knobs. The doors don’t shut all the way and you don’t have privacy. 3. Fix the pool table so that it is level. 4. Clean the completely disorganized kitchen. Clear out at least one cabinet so that you have space to put your food away. 5. Don’t leave out vapes in the kitchen. 6. Put tvs back in the bedrooms. There is not even one in any of the 4 bedrooms-but the mounts are on the wall. 7. Fix the locks on the front door so that you can actually use the deadbolt when you go to bed at night. 8. Replace the totally disgusting old nasty couch. 9. Put covers over the mattresses /box springs where you see blood. Or even better, REPLACE them! 10. Clean all the spider webs off the patio tables and chairs. 11. Put a cover on your ironing board b/c it’s hard to iron on metal. 12. Thoroughly CLEAN the entire unit. Every part of the unit is just dirty. Get a bucket of water & soap and scrub it down. 13. Maintain the elevator. The day we left, we got stuck in the elevator. Every time we had used it that weekend-we had wondered when the last time it had been maintained. (The floor felt like it was going to fall through and it always moved very slowly.) And sure enough, as we were loading up our car to leave… the elevator quit and we had 3 family members stuck in the elevator. An hour later, thanks to the fire truck, they were able to get out. Dont use the elevator until you know it’s been inspected. These are just some suggestions. They wouldn’t be hard to implement. But proceed with caution in booking this place b/c it costs a TON of $$$ to rent!

Short summer family vacation in Greune, TX

We had a great time during our stay. The set up was perfect for our group of 3 families. The outside pool and deck patio were nice and the kids enjoyed the games and pool table available. Just a few things or repairs needed for the owner to know: the couch had a seat that was broken and you fell into it, the recliner was broken, the pool table had holes in the pockets that the balls kept falling through, and none of the pool sticks have tips on them. These few things should be repaired for more enjoyment but overall the place was nice and perfect for our group and trip.

Beautiful Condo

Condo was perfect for our big group! The beds were so comfortable which is something we really struggle to find when traveling. Plenty of kitchen utensils to make meals, extra towels, etc! Super clean. Over all amazing stay. Can’t wait to come back.

Perfect Location

We had a wonderful 4th of July 5 day celebration at the Penthouse with family. We enjoyed the pool as well as the short walk to shops and restaurants. We floated the river. It is also a short walk from the condo. We will be back.
