Luana Kai Resort D102

D102 is a beautifully remodeled one bedroom, one bathroom condo with AC & a full ocean view.  There is a new kitchen with stainless steel appliances.  There is a king-size bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room.  There is a washer/dryer inside the condo so you can pack light.  There is a/c in the living room and bedroom.

 The ground floor lanai opens directly to the park, tennis and pickleball courts, ocean and a few steps to the pool.   Lovely pool area with hot tub, saunas & 5 gas bbq grills.

Due to back-to-back bookings, cleaning, and maintenance schedules, late checkouts cannot be accommodated at this time. If you have a late flight out, we recommend booking an extra night to accommodate your schedule. Mahalo for understanding.

Amenities were fantastic! Hopefully next year , it’ll have a wave board! The brown coach isn’t comfortable like other reviews said. It we didn’t spend too much time inside!!

We enjoyed our stay!

The property was great! We really enjoyed our time here. The only downfall was the pickle ball court right outside the lanai that blocked the ocean view. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome location

We had a great 8 days in the condo. Clean, amenities were great- condo had everything we needed and more. Staff was awesome.

Perfect location

I LOVED STAYING HERE. For it not being very updated, it was very clean and had everything we needed. Perfect price for younger couple who think they can’t afford Maui. Lol

Relaxing lanai and great location

Ocean facing ground floor unit was perfect for our stay. Enjoyed the adjacent park, and watching the pickle ball games. Would happily return to this spot. Management office was friendly and helpful. Unit lacked sheet set for sofa sleeper, which they quickly remedied. Could use some larger soap bars for bathroom but that was easily remedied by a trip to the local Long’s Drugs.

Great stay!

We originally had booked on the first level, a week prior to our departure we were told that we would be moved next door. When we arrived for check in, we were actually moved tot he second floor. The view was much better and we were very happy with our stay. Easy communication with the hosts!

Great Location

Very easy check in. Nice to have an office on site in case of any problems. Great location. I was a little disappointed in the view as the photo makes it look like your view is straight to the ocean, however there is a tennis court between the lanai and the ocean. The lanai view in the photo is taken from an angle. Still a nice view, just not exactly as the photo implies.

Good location but could use some updates

The grounds at Luana Kai are well maintained, the location is fantastic with perfect sunsets right outside the lanai. Watching the 8am Pickleball games got to be an unexpected morning ritual. Relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings was fantastic. The condo itself could use some updates. Everything is there and works but things like the carpet having some stains, a blown spring in the couch and the cabinet doors delaminating detract from an otherwise nice experience.

Love the view!

Great property! Only problem was having to pay extra for AC. Didn’t notice this would be extra on listing. I have no issue paying for it, since it is Hawai’i. The issue was not having it readily obvious on the property listing, and then having to deal with it when arriving late in the evening.

Lovely condo on the beach

Lovely condo by Pickleball Courts. They start at 8am and play most of the day. Didn't bother us. The "noise" became background noise. We could see whales breeching from the condo and on our walks along the beach. Beach has a lot of rocks. So if you have tender feet where sturdy shoes. Also turtles can be seen around to the point to the left around sunset.

Relaxation at its finest

Had an incredible time checking out the sites of Maui! Wonderful condo to come back to, to relax and unwind. Loved having coffee on the beach in the morning watching the sea turtles as they were sunning on the sand and swimming in the ocean. This unit had everything we needed, and we were extremely comfortable (Once we added the air conditioning lol!) We thought we could’ve gotten through without, but it was definitely a bit too warm for sleeping so asked at the office and they had it going in no time at all! Close to shopping, and restaurants but definitely best to have a car. Thank you for a wonderful vacation spot! Hope to return asap 😎🌴

Ik ben tevreden

Ik was tevreden met de accommodatie. dingen zijn een beetje ouder, maar het is goed onderhouden. het uitzicht op de oceaan wordt verstoord door de hier gecreëerde padelbaan. we hebben hier niet in de oceaan gebaad, dit is geen strand. de kinderen hebben echt genoten van het grote zwembad.

I am Leslie and I moved to Maui 40 years ago.  I immediately started work at Luana Kai in Kihei and am still here.  I am blessed to call Luana Kai my FAMILY.  I have had the pleasure of watching families grow up year after year and some who were babies when I started are coming back with their babies now.  Such a delight.  

I am happy to say most of my employees have been here for 10 plus years.  We are on site in the front office and can take care of you.  We are a happy bunch and look forward to welcoming you to our Luana Kai home.
