Spend your vacation at this relaxing waterfront retreat on Green Hill Pond.

Youā€™ll absolutely love your stay at this home that features four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The upper level of the home boasts of an open floor plan so you can spend time with your loved ones even when youā€™re in different parts of the home. Sliding doors span the entire length of the upper level to maximize water views. On a clear day, views of the Atlantic Ocean extend to Block Island. These sliding glass doors open from the living and dining area to a deck, which is the perfect spot to begin the day with coffee and end the day enjoying a meal with family. Adjacent to the dining area is a sunroom where you can lounge and enjoy the outdoors without being bothered by the (glaring) heat. A master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom completes the upper level. On the lower level, you will find three additional bedrooms and a full bathroom.

There is a path at the property to access the Green Hill Pond. You can spend a day exploring the pond on a kayak or paddle board, or have a quick refreshing dip. If you want to venture further, there is Green Hill Beach, which is a little less than a mile from the home.

We have the following for guests to use: 1 double kayak, 2 single kayaks, and 1 canoe that sit 2-3 people.

Great Stay

Great stay with very nice views of the water from the back deck. The layout was great for our use and the remodeled kitchen was a very nice surprise!

Loved it hereā€¦.. great location and it was super clean! Quiet and the outdoor shower was so lovely! The great room upstairs makes it easy to all be together and very spacious!

House was not at all like the pictures. The yard was terribly unkept and overgrown. We have been renting in RI for the past 13 years, & this is the worst house we have stayed in. Seemed so uncared for and neglected.

Wonderful, quiet getaway

Weā€™ve been staying at this home for a few years now and always have a wonderful vacation. The location is spectacular for a quiet family getaway. We kayak, ride bikes to the beach, enjoy the beautiful views, and have even made friends with some of the neighbors. Itā€™s a lovely spot we hope to come back to years to come!

Pure Serenity

Fantastic property, location & neighbors. We kayaked daily, enjoyed the sunsets and moonrises. House was well equipped with everything you could need. Paddling over to green hill beach was a delightful benefit. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, peaceful slice of paradise with our family. We loved our stay. Most important was clean and comfortable for family of six, including four adult kids. At the end of a dead end street, quiet, steps from a dock, overlooking pond and ocean beyond. Plenty of parking. Everything you could want. Kayak, canoe. Outdoor shower, updated, clean beautiful bathrooms. Two small recommendations: some of beds were very firm, one room had a great memory foam bed, would love if all were that way. The master, can't close top shade so lots of light in morning. Everything else amazing! Love how open and spacious the house is. The seperate sun room was great and hung out on the gorgeous deck all the time, listening to the ocean in the distance and birds. Kitchen and grill had everything you could need for a family of six. Just minutes from all the great beaches, our favorite East Beach and East Matunuck, Moonstone for the sunset views. Two coffee shops mins away and a nice park/playground not far. Would love to come back!

A Great time celebrating my wife's Birthday

I rented this home in Green Hill so the family could celebrate my wife's birthday. The property is located at the end of an dead end street and is traveled only by people who reside in the neighborhood. The house was very clean and the deck overlooked a salt pond that was nice to wake up to each morning, and there was more than enough room for the 8 of us. The owner was also quite helpful with any requests we made. On the whole, a great long weekend that unfortunately flew by!

Family vacation

The location of the house was perfect given we have family who live in green hill beach area. The view was spectacular. The upstairs bathroom could use a little TLC. Couldnā€™t really close shower door fully or it would stick. No garbage cans in the bathrooms and the railing on the back deck was a bit sketchy with a gaping space at bottom not ideal if you have small children. Overall great house and we had a great stay.

Family Time

Love the view! Open kitchen, dining, and living area great for together time. Dock was a nice short walk and viewing area of the pond with the grandchildren (love those cormorants!} Canoe and kayaks appreciated and another asset. The nearby playground was wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed by our four grandchildren. Great week, great spot, nice house:} One wish is that we felt safer on outside deck with little ones... the deck is such an asset to the house but the gap near bottom of railing with toddlers limited our use of it. If you don't have toddlers then it is fantastic place to eat and hang out. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and many beautiful memories:}

Wonderful time

We enjoy our stay a lot . Everting was perfect . The house is very nice . The view from the balcony is amazing. The house is very well located in dad end street . Very quiet and peaceful. The fire place is nice and the leaving room is very cozy . New kitchen and the beds and bedroom are very comfortable. The only down side was the cleaning. When we arrived we noticed the house wasnā€™t cleaned probably and the bathroom needs some updates . Other then that everything was perfect . We definitely will be back .

Mixed feelings

The place itself and location were great it was few things when we arrived, there were no laundry detergents in the house, So we had to buy ourselves to launder our clothes and their towels, I reached out to Greg on the day of check out for refund, haven't heard back, and it has been three days already. There are two propane tanks, both were empty although I was refunded for that one at least.

Nice but needs updates

House was OK for what we needed. However, the pictures are very deceiving. The furniture in the picture do not match the furniture in the house. The walkway was overgrown and it was not easy to get to the water. We found several ticks in the house, and didnā€™t want to walk down to the water for fear of getting more ticks. The downstairs bathroom had hair in the drain and honestly the house needed a deep clean. Not sure we would have stayed for more than two nights but it was fine for the short time. Would recommend an update or pictures to match what the house actually looks like.

Sea Air and Quiet

My family and I spent most days reading and enjoying the quiet surroundings. We were thrilled that the property was located at the end of a very quiet road. We appreciated the basic items provided ( coffee filters, laundry soap, dish soap ) so that we did not need to stock up on those items. The, kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans dishes as well. The full glass wall overlooking the pond was picturesque. We spent most of the time reading on the deck or screened in porch. There were plenty of beach toys, bikes, kayaks available too. The property does need maintenance as it is located on the water surrounded by trees. There was evidence of mold in one of the rooms. And we alerted the owner that an exterminator was needed to address unexpected ants. I would go back again but with assurances that the home maintenance was completed and ongoing.

South County RI Seaside Fun

Overall this is a beautiful property. We totally enjoyed the front deck overlooking the Pond and use of kayaks on the pond. Nearby beaches with plenty of surf are great. Country roads right outside the door are perfect for biking. House was comfortable with everything you need for cooking. Negatives were the Queen size bed downstairs needs to be replaced - super uncomfortable. Some of the pillows were not acceptable - need replacing. As a gardener , I really wanted to start pulling the grapevine etc. that has taken over the front landscape. Also of note - big table on deck is falling apart as was 1 chair. The gas grill seemed unstable (wobbly) - use with caution. Having mentioned those few negatives....we enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks for sharing your cool house!

Green Hill Retreat

There is a lot to be said for this property, and I really wanted to love it. It has a great location and all the necessities without being stuffed with cutesy stuff. There were edible wild mushrooms in the woods and easy access to both the beach and the salt pond. Everyone agreed that the property had great potential. I would love to return to this place, but with a few improvements. The grounds are unkempt, with overgrown gardens and grass patches, which gave the place the feeling of a derelict property. Also, the bedding is a problem -- in the master BR, the mattress cover is severely pilled. I felt as if I were sleeping on dried peas. We bought a mattress topper to mitigate this, but it would be an easy fix for the property owner. The bathroom fan sounded like a propeller plane readying for takeoff. When we arrived the trash and recycling bins were all full to the brim with fetid garbage, so we had no place to put our sorted recyclables and bagged trash until mid-week.

Great location lots of potential

We arrived & walked thru. Cleaners did a good job. But we soon discovered some issues that were not addressed by earlier reviews. The master bedrm mattress pad was missing & the mattress top was pilled up so that you could feel them. We ended up sleeping on top of the bedding plus our own. The owner should also update the photos because what is posted doesn't represent the interior, The newish Kitchen cabinets & appliances were nice. But the big killer was the porch & stair railings.The railing is non-compliant with the building code. And the deck is 30ft off the ground. This place should not be rented to families with small children. We were not able to use the porch with our toddler grandson..I realize the railings are original to the home., but what a liability. The positive is location, access to the beach & views. If this property was properly maintained we would rent again. .

Family Gathering

We had a wonderful week with our family at this property. The location is beautiful, and the access to kayaks and canoes was great. The home itself could use some updating and better lighting, but it was comfortable, spacious and the view over Ninigret Pond was gorgeous.
