You'll not only have the frosty mountain slopes within arm's reach, but you'll also be just steps from beautiful downtown Breckenridge. Inside, this home is bright and beautiful, illuminated by floods of natural light cascading through broad windows. The private balcony overlooks the handsome courtyard and features plenty of seating for your breakfasts with fresh coffee. A full kitchen makes for effortless meals and snacks. Kick back in the luxurious living room sofa to enjoy a good mystery novel then go for a walk to explore the lovely downtown area of Breckenridge. You'll find boutiques, restaurants, activities, and seasonal events. Wrap up an evening with a soak in the shared pool and hot tub, or a game of Ping-pong in the community game room.

Nearby, spend some time exploring all the fantastic restaurants of Breckenridge like Flip Side Breckenridge, Giampietro Pasta & Pizzeria, and Amazing Grace. You'll also love eating at Empire Burger, The Canteen Tap House and Tavern, Downstairs At Eric's, or Flip Side Breckenridge. Take the kids to Stephen C. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Love this unit

Great location, lots of space, very comfortable furniture, having two desks and lots of table space (one near the kitchen and one in the master bedroom). However, the checkout policy needs to be updated. Apparently it changed a couple of months ago but the information provided on the refrigerator and keys was incorrect. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location!

The location and views are amazing. The propeety layout is great and had everything we needed. The appliances could stand to be replaced. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Location but property was dated

Property at River Mountain Lodge was fine but dated. Some issues with heat, shades and microwave but overall was okay, though will not choose this unit for future stays.

Great Location

It took the management company over a week to respond to a simple maintenance issue. There was no vacuum to go with the attachments in the closet... being there a month ...I ended up purchasing my own vacuum and mop. Most every thing else for the stay was acceptable. Easy walk to Main Street!

Nice stay

The first room was not cleaned properly. The chain of command to get help is a little bit of a pain in the butt and back and forth. However once able to talk to someone that could fix the issue it was excellent customer service. We moved to this room. It was cleaner. Fireplace didn’t work and there was no soap or sponge for the kitchen. The room next door they are fully remodeling so there was a lot of noise and dust. I really appreciated the help from Emily about switching rooms so we just tried to overlook the other things that bothered us. I think if they can get someone to double check the maintenance of the room and cleaning then it would be a much better stay at these properties. We would return at the price we paid during off season. I couldn’t imagine paying a lot more during peak for the quality. Location is perfect and it was beautiful to walk around right out the door and look at the River. This spot is right in the middle of downtown. It can’t be beat.

Good condo though the complex is less desirable

We loved the location of this condo. It's within walking distance of anything in downtown Break, including gondola and grocery store. The high ceilings help make it feel roomier and the condo itself is in okay condition- not updated and a few things that had been broken were not fixed, just kind of making it work for now. The beds are comfortable though the kitchen could come with some extra basics- salt and pepper would be great for those of us that like to do some meal prep on vacation! The complex however is in pretty rough condition. I found it strange the key readers to get you in the complex from various locations don't actually work so anyone can roam into the complex and reach all levels of condos as well as the facilities, including the parking garage. One outdoor hot tub didn't work and the other was hot though the jets don't work. The onsite handyman came to look at it when we asked about the jets and didn't seem to care to fix it or find a solution. The secure gate around the outdoor pool doesn't latch, meaning a kid of any age can get inside the pool area without an adult present. The staff at the front desk didn't look thrilled to be there or help out. For it being a busy holiday weekend we were there, it was quiet in the complex and we oftentimes had the grills and pool area to ourselves. We're looking at spending a month in Break next summer and loved this location so much. But I assume year-to-year the complex as a whole will continue to decline if they don't begin to address some of the issues around making it far less desirable.

Great for the price

Great location and space

Clean, spacious property with a great location. The only drawbacks were no pool towels and having to check in and out away from the property. I would say it sleeps 5-6 adults comfortably. (8 only with small kids. The two full beds in the upstairs bedroom slept one teen each-I can’t imagine 4 in that room) Three full baths a definite plus. Would stay again

Great location

We had a a minor issue getting into parking garage after check in but they were quick to come fix the issue. The condo was very clean and perfect for our group. Great location that was close to everything!

Great Location

Everything was great except checking in at Main Street Junction when River Mountain Lodge has a front desk. Was slightly inconvenient. I know it's Vail Resorts that is doing this but Vacasa should do everything to have guests checkin at the front desk for convenience.

Vacasa Management not on-site!

We have stayed at River Mountain Lodge three times because the location is wonderful. We found this stay to be more frustrating because Vacasa, the company in charge of this unit, isn’t on-site. We had to check-in and out down the road which was really inconvenient when I was traveling as the only adult with four kids. There were no comforters on the beds and the heat wasn’t controllable in our unit. We asked for blankets and we’re told for two nights that they were out. We were so cold and even slept in winter hats. The heat did get turned on a few days later due to unusually cold temps in Breckinridge. By this time, they did deliver some blankets which was too late. It was also frustrating anytime you ran out of supplies because it took hours for the supplies to be delivered since management wasn’t on site. We do love the location and would like to go back but hope Vacasa will find a way for on-site check-in/out.

Check in Process needs work.

Check instructions gave just an address of 505c South Main street. Google maps promptly ended on the street outside of Main Street station. I then spent 20 minutes searching for the desk to check in. OWNER and Vacassa needs to fix this by simply giving the exact location instead of a general outside mall. Met other people staying at lodge that said the same thing happened to them.

Perfect location in Breckenridge

Location within walking distance to town, condo very roomy with 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, large balcony off master, well stocked with supplies, nice view out right side of balcony.

Location, location, location!

Everything, neat and tidy in this condo. Kitchen well stocked. The location cannot be beat. Easy walking distance to all Main Street shopping, restaurants and to the Gondola.

Wonderful!

This condo had everything we needed for our stay in Breckenridge. Location was wonderful, just a short walk along the river path into town. We faced the courtyard, but since this unit was on the end, we still had views of the mountains. The second bedroom is tiny, smaller than it looks in the photos however, so be aware of that when you are planning trips with families and groups. All in all, we enjoyed our stay!
