Trastevere, Roma: design and charme

To enjoy the wonderful view it is necessary in the houses of Trastevere to climb some steps, fortunately in this one they are quite comfortable. There are no houses with elevators around here. Hi David, thanks for the positive feedback. The apartment is a loft, as can be seen from the description, but each space is well separated, and the bathroom is exactly as seen in the photos. It is functional, comfortable and fully equipped. I hope to see you again soon, a greeting, Chiara

Dear guest many thanks for your observations. As featured in the ad online, the flat is placed at third floor inside an ancient and historic building not equipped with elevator.About car I suppose my English wasn't enough good to explain at your arrival that is possible to park easily in the street around my place because 'Trastevere' is a limited traffic zone to preserve the area from the intensive car traffic. that means is not possible to come inside the area(if you are not a resident )starting from 6.00am till 10 in the morning and in the weekend at night (from 10 pm to 3 am) . About sugar and coffee the cleaning company usually take away all the food from the apartment if it is yet open. You can find olive oil salt and tea (close bags) sugar and Moka for coffee are in the kitchen closet.I'm wondering you didn't find it. I'm always ready to be helpful, just ask me please to give me the opportunity to intervene ( the shower drain now is ok thank you for your warning ). I have to ask all my guests the amount for city tax cash on arrival as show on thHi e Homeaway balance. That is a municipality fee not for me. Thank you for your review.

I thank you for your nice review and answer you about noise just to clarify this topic. As you know I lived in that house for so many years and I know that sometimes can be a little bit of traffic along the LungoTevere (street near the river), the same you would find in any capital city. I forgot to advise you to just open the windows facing toward the side road at these times. The LungoTevere is one of main roads connecting to Rome from North to South, and one of the most beautiful, but even though we are nearly 4 million people (all with the car!) there are fortunately many times during the year and days when there is no traffic and it is also very well with all windows open. The house is on a high floor so noise it comes less than homes on the lower floors. Moreover the other houses in Trastevere have the big problem of the noise bars all night, instead my house does not have bars under the house or in the immediate vicinity, so the night is quiet.
