Upon arrival, you will be immediately drawn to the private balcony with breathtaking views of the beach and Gulf. This 10th floor condo features a king bed in the bedroom with an adjoining private bathroom that has a tub & shower combo. There is also a second full bathroom with a shower for guests. The living area has a queen size leather sleeper sofa and a leather twin sleeper chair! Enjoy preparing meals with a Gulf view in the fully equipped kitchen, There is also a washer & dryer in the condo. Truly the BEST feature is the spacious balcony with the stunning views! FREE WIFI and FREE Parking!

At Pelican Walk beachfront condominiums, guests have access to clubhouse and other resort amenities, including 2 swimming pools (west side pool heated seasonally Oct. through April), hot tub, sauna, pool table, racquetball, pickle ball, shuffleboard, tennis, gas & charcoal grill areas, and more. Pelican Walk also offers private beach access and convenient beach gear rentals—pick up a beach chair and an umbrella for a day at the beach, or rent a set for the week! When you want to get out and about, it’s just a short stroll to shopping, dining, and entertainment in Panama City Beach.

However, this unit specifically could definitely use some updates- The hallway showers doesn’t have a shower head and the master shower head is only suitable if you’re about 5’ tall. Overall, we had a great trip.

Great Unit, Beyond Disappointed with Anchor Management

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have a mixed review overall. No issues with the unit. It was as described and a really great location with a great view of the beach and the ocean. Anchor Management however, was a huge disappointment. My family and I have been vacationing in NW Florida since the early 1980's and I've never had an experience with a rental agency like what I've endured with Anchor Management. They issued a lease agreement for our 7-night stay at a total cost of $1204. They charged my credit card over $2400 for this unit, refused to honor the lease agreement, and refused to issue a full refund for the amount they over-charged. After several emails and phone calls, Anchor Management acknowledged their error, but only refunded me about $300. Bottom line, Anchor Management's refusal to honor their lease agreement has resulted in financial loss for me and my family. Once they have your credit card number, it looks like they can re-name their price and charge whatever they want. Apparently, the lease agreement means nothing.I can't say with certainty it was an intentional bait and switch, but that's what it feels like. If you are an owner or a prospective renter, I suggest taking your business somewhere else. There are many ethical rental companies in Panama City Beach. As for rating the property management company, one star is way too generous. Need an option for zero (or less). Their lack of integrity is appalling. If Anchor Management is allowed to post a response, they will say they gave me the option to cancel about 28 days before our trip to Florida. That is true, and that would have been a perfect solution for Anchor Management since it would have released them from honoring their lease agreement. We purchased non-refundable air fare, and arranged for vacation with our employers, so cancelling was not a solution for our family. It's a really unfortunate conclusion to our vacation this year. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just 2 complaints: The way that the condo is built, your balcony is not really private. We could see those on their balconies in front of us, and behind us. If you don’t mind that, then you might like it. The other complaint is that in the list of things to do before you leave for home. One of the things to do is to wipe down the kitchen counters. I’ve never seen that before on a list like that. I was a maid for 4 years. To me that should be for the house cleaning to do. My bill jumped up 30 dollars more for house cleaning. Other than that, it was a very clean place, and I would recommend it to others.

Great Condo & View

Reviewer Comments: We felt like the 1009 property was very nice, and the interior finishes were upgraded from some of our previous stays even at Pelican Walk. Hurricane Ida was coming in quickly, but we had a great few days. The balcony was private and nicely tucked away so we could enjoy the views even with the winds picking up. Red flag so we could not get in the ocean, so disappointing there. But all in all, we would recommend the condo. The bed was comfortable, the curtains in the bedroom blocked the light from outside nicely. The kitchen had everything we needed, we coooked breakfast one morning and had lunch inside some too. Please note, there is no hair dryer right now, so I had to go to Walmart and purchase another one! The office did not have an extra. $15, no biggie! We will be back! thanks!

The couch, loveseat and outdoor stool cushions need to be replaced. At a minimum should be cleaned, but the cushions are squashed from use.Some units offer rental beach chairs and umbrellas included. This unit does not.Schooner's about a mile down has excellent food and service. Jessie's (family owned) across the street has excellent breakfast and lunch...although limited tables, the wait is never long.
