Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the ā€œDamage Waiverā€). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Comfortable condo with a great view

The best asset of Windemere 1404 is the fabulous view from the balcony and wall of huge windows. It is a very large one bedroom condo with plenty of space to spread out. I also love that it is away from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. I would most definitely consider renting this condo again.

Amazing Views!!!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! Everything was super clean, bed was comfy, balcony view was absolutely perfect! I loved that the room came with its very own parking spot so no circling around trying to find somewhere to park. The parking spot is also right next to the elevator for easy access and the elevator comes right up to the room. Location of everything is so convenient with this place!

Much Needed Vacay

Windemere did not disappoint in relation to our expectation of our room, amentities, cleanliness, parking, easy access to the beach, nice pool, and friendly people. We did get to enjoy two days on the beach (unfortunately for us there was rain and storms 3-4 days). We would choose to stay at Windemere again.

nice condo on the beach

it is a nice condo except several things needed to improveā€¦. The icemaker is broken and no ice cube trays are provided . Very thin sheeting and very thin blanket on the bedā€¦.. nowhere is there any additional blankets that can be used on the bed - eventually stole a thin blanket off of the twin bed . Good parking lot, easy to manage door lock. Nice access to the beach. No drinking glasses were provided except juice size. No spices, salt.pepper in condo so be prepared to bring some. As well as bringing in your ice. overall, a nice place however

Simple and sweet nice view!

I enjoyed my short one day vacation. Nice hot tub and great beach access. The room had a beautiful view! Only thing I didn't love was the fact that there's not anyone there working. That's never addressed beforehand so I was taken aback by that, otherwise great stay!

Great condo with a beautiful view!

We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation at this condo. Itā€™s beautifully decorated and comfortable. The view is amazing! We were sent all the arrival info prior to arriving and it was easy. The parking spot is close to the elevators which is convenient. The only problem we had was with the tv in the master bedroom wouldn't work. The living room tv and WiFi worked great. We love the location! We have already recommended this condo to family members and we will likely stay here again.

Great view

The view from the living area and balcony at this property are great! The place was as described and has good ā€œbonesā€ but could be so much better with minimal investment. It was clean enough but as another reviewer said, it looks like caulk was simply put over mold lines in the shower and the curtain liner is yellowed and needs to be changed. Other small touches that would yield a more comfortable stay include stocking the kitchen better. There were only a few juice glasses and coffee mugs as well as a few small wine glasses. I will say the knife I used was nice and sharp. New living room furniture is needed and dining chairs need to be inspected and tightened.There seem to be some outlets that donā€™t work and at least one lamp that needs a light bulb I believe. Parking is convenient and beach access close and easy. Overall, this was a good place to stay on a relatively small budget.

The view from the Balcony of this Condo is AMAZING!!! We loved being able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the breeze and listening the sounds of the ocean. We had beautiful weather and being able to enjoy the view made this condo worth while. The Condo is Nice and in a great location, but definitely needs updates in the bathrooms, new paint and just all together a face lift. It's not bad, but it's just outdated.

Incredible view with great amenities

Our 14th floor view was everything we could have expected. The unit itself had everything we needed and was very clean. Covered parking, close to elevator and trash chute, and did I mention the incredible view! The pool area looked very nice, but we never got there because the beach lounge chair/umbrella service is included and we spent all our time on the beach. Perdido Key is much less crowded than Destin or Orange Beach, which we enjoyed very much. There are five or six very good restaurants within 5 minutes of the condo, and Lillian's Pizza is right across the street. If you're looking for less crowds and more relaxation, this is the place to go! And did I mention the incredible balcony view!

Nice but could use some love

This unit was nice. New flooring and furniture. All was fine but could use a deep clean of draperies, baseboards, vent dust and shower grout needs replacing. Needed a lightbulb in the lamp by the bed. The shower curtain rod is taped together. Otherwise the kitchen, bedroom, linens and bathrooms were very clean and generous supplies of detergent, TP and other necessities was a nice touch. The pool area, lobbies and parking garage could use some maintenance and sprucing up. Overall, we did enjoy our stay!

Tired and Ill supplied

Only 4 table forks, only an 8" skillet, balcony chairs are deteriorated, no pot holders, no coasters or place mats to protect the wooden tables. The carpet is spotted and thread bare. Unit has the scarcest kitchen utensil collection I've seen in 40+ years renting on the panhandle. Unit was very clean and we were supplied with many, many bath towels.

Property was clean and in good condition with a great ocean view. Also liked the reserved parking. The big problem was with beach service. It was included with our stay and paid for in advance in property fees. When we arrived Ike's beach service refused to provide chairs and umbrella claiming Vacasa had not paid them. We called Vacasa immediately and they said it would be taken care of. The next day service was refused again. After a second call to Vacasa they offered to compensate us for half the cost afterward if we provided a receipt. Why didnt Vacasa just pay Ike's with the money we had already paid them? Very poor and dishonest customer service.

Nice condo but....

Nice, clean condo with a great view. Also appreciated the reserve parking. Biggest problem was beach service. From day 1 we were denied beach service by Ike's beach service because they claimed Vacasa had not paid them. After calling Vacasa they said the problem would be taken care of. Second day refused again. Called Vacasa and they said they would reimburse for half the daily cost with receipt. We ended up with no beach service the entire stay. Why didn't Vacasa just pay Ike's the money they had already collected from us? Why would Vacasa only reimburse for half the cost? Vacasa even sent me an email confirming I had paid for beach service in property fees. Very dishonest and poor customer service.
