Our family rented this property for a month and had a fantastic vacation.
The setting and property are stunning. The pictures do not do the property justice! Every direction you look has a incredible views – vineyards and hills beyond the pool in the back, rolling vineyards beyond the bocce court on the side of the house, and vineyard and mountains out front – including hot air balloons some mornings. We rented in July so our kids practically lived in the pool during the day. The evenings get cool, so the hot tub/spa was a great way to end the day. The back also includes a built-in grill under a pergola with bistro lights. Our friends joked that it looked like we photoshopped our pictures the place looked so perfect.
The owners, Ashley and Corey, were incredibly hospitable. Upon arrival we were greeted with a bottle of property-grown wine, local olive oil, and other goodies. They suggested Napa Valley wineries and restaurants, offered other local insights and were responsive to whatever asks we had.
The home itself is huge and can easily accommodate a very large family or multiple families. I worked part of the time from the upstairs office, the wi-fi was great. The family room upstairs is amazing, with an indoor shuffleboard, pool table, air hockey, poker table, TV area and full bathroom.
It takes about 25 minutes to drive to Silverado Trail/Saint Helena or to Lake Berryessa. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, this is the place. Pope Valley is old-school Napa.
