Bethany's Vallecito Lake Cabin #1

A cute cabin with an ideal location. It is easy to find, and it is just off the county road with plenty of parking space. Vallecito Lake is directly across the street as well as the boat marina where you can rent a pontoon, kayak, paddle board, and more. The front porch offers beautiful views of the mountain and lake, and you can even enjoy the lakeside view from the dining table. There are country markets up the road, hiking trails, a restaurant, and plenty of water activities to enjoy. In the winter, enjoy ice fishing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and more. Durango is about 25 minutes from Durango during the summer and about 35 to 40 min during the winter, depending on snowpack.

Amazing Location and Gorgeous Views

Loved staying at this cabin, the host thought of everything and we were very comfortable. The views from the front porch, or even just sitting at the table, were breathtaking.

Lake front view

The cabin rental was a great location. We were on the go everyday. Close to hiking, restaurants and lots of beautiful sightseeing. This is our 3rd time staying in this area and love it. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. We will be back.

Great view of Vallecito Lake, very cozy!

The cabin was great, just what we needed for a week getaway from the heat in Arizona. Cabin was very clean and well stocked with all we needed. The view of the front deck was perfect, we sat out there the most! Bethany was very nice and helpful! Thanks, we will definitely be back!

Just what we needed!

The cabin not only was perfectly clean, but the lake view was amazing! Very much enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evenings and mornings. The host was very responsive and had great communication from the moment I reserved the cabin to check-out.

Breathtaking

The property was everything that I had hoped for! Amazing views of the lake across the street! Waking up to that was gorgeous! I loved how easily I was able to just walk across the street to go fishing with my family! Locals were so nice and Bethany the host was more than helpful on answering all my questions and super responsive it was very much appreciated and helped us be more prepared for our trip. My husband and I would definitely be rebooking in the future! This place was heaven!

Excellent!

Excellent! We loved everything about our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed even washer and dryer. The bed was comfortable. We liked eating breakfast on the front porch and looking at the beautiful view of the lake, boats and mountains. We enjoyed walking along the trail by the water. We didn’t get to take a boat ride this time but are planning to visit again. The drive to and from Durango is so pretty and we saw deer every time. We would definitely stay at this nice place again. Bethany was very good to us - thanks so much! Excellent trip!

Honeymoon Getaway

Our friends booked this property for a honeymoon. They thoroughly enjoyed their stay and felt the property was a good value. It was very clean, lots of extras (even laundry detergent), and the fishing was great. They would definitely book this again, and recommend it to their friends.

The cabin had everything we needed. Bethany was always accessible. If we have a chance to go to Bayfield CO again we will definitely go back to the cabin at Vallecino Lake.

Peaceful cabin away from town.

Beautiful location across from lake with gorgeous views. Highway traffic not an issue. Owner checked in frequently on our comfort.

Mountain Get Away

What a lovely cabin! The view is incredible of the lake and mountains! You can take a hike on the many trails, rent a boat, take a drive, or sit on the front porch in the rocking chairs and relax. A great place to get away from city life.

So clean and perfect location

This house was so clean and had everything we needed. It was so nice to have an on site washer/dryer for days at the lake. The location is perfect--we could just walk across the street and be at the marina or on the beach or a trail, and we loved sitting on the front porch to eat meals or to relax before going to bed at night. It is small and exactly as pictured, so two people sleep in the living room on the daybed and trundle bed, so that may not be ideal for everyone.

Loved this cabin!

The cabin was great for our family. The location to the lake is fantastic. We sat out on the porch all the time and enjoyed the spectacular view. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Washer/dryer was a grest bonus! We will definately be back! Trudy

We all had a amazing time at this property it had a beautiful view and everything about this property was great. The only issue that we had while staying there was there was no live television but overall our week stay was great we even stayed an additional day there because of how comfortable the stay was. Would totally recommend, I can wait to go there again.

Beautiful Place

This place was in a beautiful location and was a great place for me and my friends. The property was clean and right across the street from the lake. The best part was waking up in the mornings and sitting on the porch with the beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend it for a good place to relax with friends or family.

Beautiful home away from home.

My family and I enjoyed this home just walking distance from the marina. We had peace and quite and Bethany was a wonderful host. She was available when needed and respected our space throughout the our time in the cabin. We will definitely will be staying at this home at a later time. Highly recommended.
