Country Homestead next to the City, with Perfect Location for Road America HPDE

Welcome to our large country homestead next to the city of Plymouth, just minutes from Road America and Elkhart Lake. Just one hour north of Milwaukee; one hour south of Green Bay; and two hours north of Chicago. Perfect place for you to rest, relax, shop at many area antique shops and view the downtown's 21 murals. The living room features a brick fireplace, cathedral ceiling and two skylights with plenty of seating options. The dining room seats six but up to ten if expanded at our large country table. Just off the kitchen and dining room is a deck with a Weber charcoal grill and table seating space for four. Kitchen has lots of counter space, dishwasher and toaster. Full baths are on each floor, lower bath features a shower upper bath a tub/shower . One large bedroom with queen bed downstairs and additional three bedrooms are upstairs. Each upper bedroom features a dresser and hanging closet, a ceiling fan, and a/c unit. Enjoy boating, hiking, biking, picnicking and sightseeing are available close-by. World-class golf courses (Whistling Straits, Black Wolf Run, the Bull and others within a half hour). There are several parks; lakes and Kettle Moraine State forest all in our backyard.

Road America weekend

Perfect location only 15 min to the track and the house was the perfect size for 7 adults. Plan to stay here again if available next year .

A little disappointing.

The property has a good location to town and local highways. Unfortunately, it has not been well maintained. If you need a safe place to sleep, shower, and keep dry, it works. But, we were disappointed that the wallpaper was stained and peeling in the bathroom, the upstairs carpet was stained and in need of cleaning, and the furnishings were worn and dated. Basically, not what we expected for the price . This could be a lovely place to stay with some attention and a bit of elbow grease.

Nice farm house

Very nice and quiet farm house close to town. Lots of room for kids to run and play. Few minutes to Road America. Great communication with host. Definitely would stay here again!

Best VRBO experience ever

Incredible experience from start to finish. Beautiful and super clean property. Incredible views. Close to Plymouth and Road America. The owner was super attentive to making our stay enjoyable while still giving us plenty of privacy. Hope we can stay here again. I hope all our VRBO experiences are this wonderful.

Wonderful property in a beautiful setting

This home was absolutely perfect for us. The owner was terrific with communication, the house was exceptionally clean and well appointed, and the farm setting is beautiful. 10 minutes to Road America, convenient to shopping and dining, yet peaceful and very quiet. I’d highly endorse or recommend this property if you’re in the area.

Great stay at a farm property

Loved the layout and spaciousness of the rooms. Nice simple rustic decor. Good privacy with large acreage farm property but very convenient to Plymouth restaurants and stores. Would definitely rent here again.

Perfect location

We needed a place for out of town family to stay while they visited us. Dave’s place was in a perfect location - close to us, grocery stores and restaurants. The check in process was easy, the home was spacious, clean and comfortable. We would be happy to rent his place again!

Property manager very cooperative

This was a great, home away from home rental. The property manager, Phil, was generous and willing to work with our check in and check out times. We appreciated his cooperation! The greatest improvement that could be made was that the house get a deep cleaning!! Lots of spider webs and dust on the ceilings/walls, behind furniture, on baseboards etc. We did not move any furniture but the spider webs and dust were very visible. Recognizing the cleaning time is limited between reservations, it is possible we were the first renters of the season and the deep cleaning had not been done yet and would be worked on throughout the rental season. That being said, our family is also probably a little more concerned about cleanliness than the average person. Overall, we were thankful for the accommodations.

Relaxing comfort

Enjoyed our stay at the farm house! Plenty of room for 7 adults to relax and enjoy Plymouth. Surrounded by corn fields and minutes from town. Would definitely stay there again.

Country charm, city convenience

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this spacious home with its relaxing farm setting. The fields and barns we extremely charming, and the house was a beautifully kept and comfortable home. The location was very convenient to the town and Road America. The four bedrooms provided space and privacy for all the guests, and the large family room provided the perfect place to hang out with the family. We loved this property and look forward to staying here next time we are in the area.

Farmhouse Stay

It would have been nice if the owner had contacted me sooner than he did within the 24-hour time frame to let me know how to gain entrance to the house. I contacted him. Except for fingerprints on the screen door, the house was clean overall. It was a guessing game as to which of the 6 TV remotes to use. They could be labeled to let people know which one(s) to use. Garbage disposal wasn't functioning. The white fences outside and the deck would look much nicer if they had a fresh coat of paint. But other than these things, the place was nice. The house was comfortable and full of country charm. Lots of fun things to do in the area, too. Loved looking out the windows at the corn fields. Sidewalks across the road made taking walks easy. We enjoyed our stay.

This farm house was perfect for our family. It is roomy with plenty of places for folks to gather and have visits. All the basics are provided.
