Tangahoe - The Great Escape

Tangahoe is a traditional Paekakariki bach, re-vitalised - in style and comfort - by Wellington architects Melling:Morse Ltd. A stone's throw from the beach, its generous living space extends onto elevated decks set amongst the tree tops. A serene double-bedroom hovers over a sheltered garden...(a couch/bed in the living area provides sleeping for 2). The bach is very sunny and warm but in a storm there is the comfort of a cosy fireplace.

The bach is a two minute walk from the entrance to Queen Elizabeth Park, and its magnificent coastal track (perfect for a leisurely walk, a bike ride, or a brisk 10k run). In the Village, the Paekakariki Cafe is a foodie's delight for breakfast and lunch; and a deli, bookshop and small art gallery completes the scene.
