From the custom made cabinetry to the warm and welcoming nature-themed decor, this rustic getaway offers all the comforts of home! The spacious living room is the ideal place to relax, as it features beautiful lake views, a cozy sectional sofa, a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi.

Spend your downtime enjoying the many private amenities that the property provides. Outside you'll find 100 feet of lake shore frontage with a private dock. After a day of fun, relax by the fire pit and grilling area.

Create a culinary masterpiece in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances and gleaming quartz countertops. There's ample seating in the dining area and two additional seats at the island.

Take solace in the cozy first floor bedroom while others sleep soundly in the additional two bedrooms on the upper level. Larger groups of family and friends can find more accommodations in the loft and in the living room!

Additional Details:
Ox Yoke Lake (DOW# 11-0355; Lake Class 31) is a 187-acre lake located near Backus, MN. There is a DNR owned public access on the south shore. Ox Yoke Lake has 2.87 miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 42 feet. The lake is primarily managed for Largemouth Bass and Black Crappie and secondarily for Northern Pike, Bluegill, and Yellow Perch. The DNR has classified Minnesota's lakes into 43 different classes based on physical, chemical and other characteristics. Ox Yoke Lake is in Lake Class 31; lakes in this class are generally clear and productive with moderate depth.

Motors and jet skis are allowed on this lake.

Another great week at the lake! Beautiful setting and very quiet! We loved hanging out on the beach and dock as well as enjoying campfires each night. Cabin is perfect for our family of 9, 6 adults and 3 little ones. The Dominoā€™s are very easy to work with and provide great communication.

Great getaway

We had a great time, easy to check in, fully stocked kitchen (appliances,etc), good space for hanging out with our family of four. Clearly a house that can handle more, but we had a great time. The kayaks and paddle boards were a nice addition. Thanks for providing a great house

We had an awesome stay! Enjoyed boating and swimming across the amazingly clear water. Had great luck fishing as well! The kitchen was well- stocked so cooking was really easy. Beds were comfy ā€” esp for the kids all hanging in the bunks. And it was great to watch lightening thru the huge windows ! Thanks to the owners for being super responsive when needed.

We absolutely loved our stay at this lake house! The lake is crystal clear and so peaceful ā€” we practically had it all to ourselves. Listening to the loons calling in the evening was pure magic. The hill from the house down to the water is a bit of a workout, but our dog loved it and it helped tire him out each day. This is the perfect place to reset, relax, and soak up the quiet beauty of nature. The hosts were fantastic ā€” very responsive and quick to resolve a small issue within minutes. We canā€™t wait to come back!

Perfect stay

This cabin has everything you would hope for a northern minnesota getaway. There is a perfect, sandy swimming area for kids (and adults), paddleboards and kayaks to take out on the lake, and a well equipped living space for relaxing in at the beginning and end of the day. We all had a great time!

Great vacation home!

We had an amazing time! This is our second time staying here, itā€™s a beautiful home and clean! Lot is private and quiet. We had our family of 9, kids and adults and we all had a great time on the water, enjoying the sunsets and campfires in the evening. Owners are great to work with. Definitely will be back!

Perfect setting for relaxation and fun!

The cabin was so nice, just as expected. The lake was clear, and the dock and the sandy beach were great. We paddle boarded many times in the clean, clear lake and had so much fun! Most of the time, we were the only ones on the lake. What a great place and location to have fun and relax!

Great property! Lovely home with great kitchen and lounging areas. Kids loved the sandy shore and shallow beach. Fishing was excellent. We were there weekdays and the location was quiet. Also enjoyed nearby towns.

Great Time on Ox Yoke Lake

The property provided a wonderful place for our family to gather. We enjoyed using the kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing off the dock. The solitude and scenery of Ox Yoke Lake gave us a restful and relaxing place to spend time with family. Our time spent at this VRBO certainly met our expectations.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. The attentiveness of the property owner was unbelievable. She was so helpful and kind. The pictures donā€™t really do justice to how cute this cabin is and the sunsets were breathtaking. Definitely recommend this property!

Nice lake place/fishing

Beautiful place! We enjoyed our stay. Just beware if thinking about handicap accessible. The lower level has a tub and the walk in shower is up a flight of stairs. Our family enjoyed the fishing and out door games.

Ox Lake Vacation

We had an amazing time! The house was very clean, and equipped with all our needs. The property owners had an amazing manual to answer our questions and had the fire wood stocked up for cozy fires. The lake access was nice along with the dock. They also had comfy hammocks to rest in. There were multiple towns close to go in and explore too.
