Whether you're planning a family vacation, gathering with lifelong friends, celebrating a special occasion, or simply escaping the pace of everyday life, this one-of-a-kind property was designed to bring people together.

Spend your days exploring nearby Algonquin Provincial Park, hiking scenic trails, fishing, swimming at beautiful local beaches, or horseback riding through Ontario's breathtaking wilderness. Then return to your own private retreat where the best moments are still waiting.

Sink into the 7-person hot tub beneath thousands of stars. Gather around the oversized firepit for stories, laughter, and roasted marshmallows. Fire up the projector for an unforgettable outdoor movie night. Grill an incredible meal, challenge the kids to cornhole or washer toss, or simply relax and listen to the sounds of the forest.

The fully equipped cookhouse is where everyone naturally gathers—sharing meals, celebrating milestones, and lingering around the table long after dinner is over.

The main cottage features three cozy bedrooms, while the separate bunkie provides additional sleeping space, comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests. Two indoor showers and two private outdoor hot-and-cold showers mean everyone can freshen up with ease after a day of adventure.

What guests love most isn't just the hot tub, the cookhouse, or the firepit—it's how this place makes them feel. Peaceful. Relaxed. Connected. Many tell us the property is even more beautiful than the photos and leave already planning their next visit.

The property is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained, with so many different places to host dinners and chats both inside and out that you'll never struggle to find the perfect spot!But the hosts were easily the stars of the show! Colleen and her husband were so incredibly accommodating and always responded quickly to the many questions we had for them.With plans for upgrades already it's hard not to imagine their property becoming a hot spot for both couples and groups alike!

We throughly enjoyed our stay... sometimes you get where your going and something that was in the pictures doesn't work, not here! Everything worked from the hot tub to the bbq and everything in between. Lots of yard games for the kids, beautiful garden, oh and my favorite is the outdoor shower under the stars. Definitely not disappointed and we'll be sure to visit again in the future.

1 Week Stay

The hosts were fantastic, offering to meet me and describe the area and amenities, or to leave the keys in a secure lockbox and let me explore on my own. The property is well setup with the main house, a bunkie, a wood shed, a covered BBQ/game area, as well as a large firepit and a garden with seating for conversation. The owners have plans for additional recreational activities in the near future, including badminton nets. The property is well forested, and you can barely tell that you have neighbors.

We are originally from Newfoundland, Canada, and when we discovered this special piece of South Algonquin, we immediately felt a connection. The rugged landscape, forests, lakes, and peaceful surroundings reminded us so much of home.

Over the years, this property has been the setting for countless family memories, gatherings, laughter, and time spent reconnecting with the people we love. As our own family has grown and life has changed, we wanted to share this special place with others.

Being a host allows us to give families and friends a place to slow down, spend quality time together, and create the same kind of memories that have meant so much to us. Our goal is to keep Wildest Dreamzzz a welcoming and affordable place where people can reconnect, celebrate, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Honestly, we feel like the neighborhood chose us. We first discovered South Algonquin while visiting friends in the area and immediately fell in love with its peaceful forests, lakes, rugged landscape, and welcoming community. It reminded us so much of Newfoundland that it felt like coming home.

When the first property came up for sale, we knew we had to take the chance. It was a tiny 420-square-foot cabin with a wood stove for heat, no running water, and a crumbling foundation — but we saw the potential and the memories waiting to be made.

Over the years, we lovingly transformed it into a place where our family could gather, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of the area. Now we’re excited to share this special corner of South Algonquin with guests and hope they feel the same sense of peace and belonging that we did when we first arrived.

What makes Wildest Dreamzzz unique is the story behind it. What began as a tiny 420-square-foot off-grid cabin has been lovingly transformed into a private wilderness retreat while keeping the charm and connection to nature that made us fall in love with it.

This isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a place to reconnect. Guests can enjoy the privacy of the forest, gather around the fire, relax in the hot tub under the stars, cook together in the outdoor cookhouse, explore nearby lakes and trails, and create the kind of memories that last a lifetime.

Every detail was created with families, friends, and couples in mind. Our hope is that guests arrive as visitors and leave with their own special memories of this little piece of South Algonquin.
