Waterfront Cottage 3bdrm/4bath - Private Beach, Dock, Large Deck Fire pit, BBQs

The Property is right on the water, This Rental is for the Entire Cottage which consists of 2 side by side Suites with a joint 65ft wide Deck and Patio facing the lake .

We do provide discounts for stays of 7 days or longer.

There are a total of 5 sliding glass door walkouts onto the Waterfront Deck/Patio. Both Living Areas, Kitchens and Both Master Bedrooms have Glass walkouts toward the lake creating a feeling of being on the water. There is always a beautiful view, and fresh air off the lake. The suites have Pine walls and floors, which create a warm and comfortable feeling for those who stay here.

For those days when the breeze from the lake needs a little bit of help to make your stay more comfortable, The entire cottage is fully heated and Air Conditioned for you comfort. You are able to control the temperature to suit your needs.

Each Suite has had the bathrooms and kitchen remodelled. There are 2 Kitchens and 4 bathrooms.

The Waters edge is literally 15 steps from your deck. It allows you to have the kids go swimming while you barbecue on the deck, and still be able to safely supervise them. If you have an adult group, then it is easy to communicate between those enjoying the waterfront and those lounging on the deck. The deck and Patio combination are about 700 sq ft in size, and span 65ft in width. You can have everyone together in a group or separate into a few small groups for different tastes and wishes.

Outside, you have 2 docks to enjoy. Swimming, Fishing, Sunbathing or just relaxing and taking in the scenery will refresh many of us from our day to day duties
Our beach provides for a more gentle entry into the water for those who prefer that. You have two fire pits and muskoka chairs to enjoy all year round (subject to local fire restrictions). Mooring is included for those who bring their own boat/ watercraft

We are located on a 90km boatable water way encompassing Kamaniskeg Lake, the Madawaska River and other small lakes. You can spend many days just exploring the the lakes and rivers by motor boat, kayak or canoe. If fishing is your thing, there are Northern Pike, Pickerel, Smallmouth and Largemouth bass, Trout, perch, rock bass, sunfish and other panfish for your angling pleasure

We also offer Kayaks with Paddles and life jackets for a modest $56.50 ( $50 + hst) per kayak for the full duration of your stay. Please ask about these when you are making your booking to ensure availability.

Our Property is located beside a public launch ramp, docks and small waterfront park providing for extra room to run around, play and swim

We are Located across the street from a very well equipped General store and LCBO open 7 days a week. You can buy deli sandwiches, most groceries, and even fresh cuts of meat for the barbecue. They also have firewood for your fire pit.

If you prefer to go out for a bite to eat there are 3 restaurants within walking distance so you do not have to worry about having a drink at dinner and figuring out how to get home. One of the Restaurants is right on the water. All of these eateries are commonly priced so most people can enjoy their meals. A 15 minute drive into Bary's Bay will offer a number of other dining opportunities.

As far as being famous, we are located 15 Minutes from the town of Barry's Bay where the current Prime Video Series called "Every Year After" takes place. This was the Follow-on series to "Every Summer After".

In the Winter, we are located about 500 ft from the OSFC snowmobile trails, so you can spend the day touring, and come in for a warm bevy and relaxing evening in your suite or make a cosy fire by the lake enjoying the serenity that winters bring up here.

For those wishing to stay for a week or more, we provide discounts for 7 day and longer bookings. VRBO will automatically apply the discount when you book.
