This house had one of the best kitchens as it was stocked with every kind of pit, pan, dish, etc. That you could have wished for. We stayed there while our daughter and son-in-law were in the hospital having their first child. She wanted mom's cooking. I had everything I needed.The backyard was great. We enjoyed having access to a comfortable outside space.

When we arrived on Saturday, everything seemed fine. We looked around and noticed ants near the door on the patio but didn’t think much of it. They were outside so no big deal. We then left the house right after that to go pick up a few things from the store (around 6pm). When we returned around 8pm, there were ants all over the kitchen floor, countertops, walls, and ceilings. They were also in the master bedroom and bathroom. I immediately texted the host and she responded by sending me a picture of some ant bait and told me that is what she usually uses. I don’t know if she wanted me to go out and buy it myself which was strange. I asked if there was any in the house and she said the owner probably didn’t have any. The host works with Evolve – they manage this property. We didn’t know what to do. We tried spraying Dawn on them which did kill a lot of the ants but at that point we were very uncomfortable. The next morning, the ants were worse. It was like an infestation! My sister’s luggage was filled with ants, and all of her clothes were covered. My luggage had a lot of ants as well but not as many as my sister’s. We had an event to attend but we were late because we had to wash all of our clothes since everything was covered in ants. I sent a detailed message to the host along with pictures and videos. After that, the communication stopped. Evolve and the host told VRBO we never communicated this to them. I provided proof. VRBO was helpful but not Evolve.

We just wrapped up a relaxing weekend stay, and this place was absolutely perfect. The home is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, and the amenities made it feel like a true getaway. The downstairs shower, in particular, was incredible; definitely a highlight of the stay. We’d absolutely consider booking again for our next trip to Texas!

Everything was amazing for our stay. The yard was well kept considering the dry season and there was good information in the packets left.only issue is some of the suggested restaurants on the info packet were closed for business. Maybe update those.

5 starts - Best VRBO We've Ever Had!

This was hands-down the best VRBO experience we've ever had. The home is artfully decorated with so much charm and attention to detail - a fun contemporary vibe. Every room was spotless, and it's clear the hosts take great pride in maintaining a welcoming space - well stocked amenities, everything was thoughtfully done. Can't recommend this place highly enough - great quiet stay.

Excellent house

The house was great. The front entry was very well-kept, and the backyard space was huge. The hosts left plenty of toiletries and kitchen products for us to use, and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay near Austin

Would definitely recommend this place! Comfortable accommodations in bright open space that is clean and nicely appointed. Large patio and backyard. Quiet neighborhood. Easy freeway access to downtown Austin and airport.

Dirty! Do not stay here.

We were very disappointed with the condition of the home. As soon as we walked in, we immediately noticed the house was not clean and had a strong unpleasant smell throughout. The odor remained during our entire stay and was noticeable every time we returned to the property.We also experienced issues with the temperature in the home. Although we repeatedly lowered the thermostat, it continuously reset itself back to 76 degrees, making the house uncomfortable and warm each time we returned .There were also several cleanliness and maintenance concerns:-The downstairs main bathroom toilet was dirty upon arrival.-The pillows throughout the home were old, flat, yellow and uncomfortable.-The mattresses upstairs were heavily worn and made sleeping uncomfortable.-The loft sectional upstairs appears very old, as you sink deeply into it when sitting. The side glass table was not wiped still had stains from use.-Baseboards throughout the home were visibly filthy.-We also noticed stained blood on the master bedroom mattress during our stay. The instructions are to remove linens after the stay, this was disgusting! Overall, the condition of the property did not meet the standards presented in the listing, and it negatively impacted our experience. Unfortunately, this is not a property we would return to or recommend.We are waiting to hear back from property management to discuss a fair resolution regarding our stay.

The property was also personally visited and inspected by the owners the morning before your check-in. None of the issues you have posted in your review were identified before your stay. Nor after being cleaned post check out, which is why Evolve denied your refund request. Also, simple items like the confusion with the thermostat could have been avoided had you reached out to our 24-hour resident services agents. We wish you the best. What an amazing home

I have to say, this not only is one of the most beautiful homes I’ve stayed in, but the details are great. The kitchen had everything I could ever need. The beds were so plush and comfy. They even had a blow up race car bed for my 2 year old nephew. Close to shops and restaurants, the racetrack was so close too. We went to Schlitterbahn and it was 15 minutes away. So well located. I know I’ll be staying here next time I come to Austin! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect Family Home

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house is beautifully maintained, with spacious and comfortable rooms that were perfect for our family. The kitchen is fully equipped, making cooking easy and enjoyable, and the living areas are cozy and inviting.The location is ideal, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to Austin and Hill Country. Our kids loved the outdoor space, and we all appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring our stay was smooth and enjoyable.Overall, this property exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a perfect choice for a family getaway, and we look forward to returning in the future!

F.A.N.T.A.S.T.I.C Getaway Place

Beautiful from the moment you drove up. As soon as I opened the door I was blown away. There were so many interesting and cool things to see immediately. The house was welcoming, neat and clean. It had a slight hint of a fragrance I think was like a sandlewood candle or something. I loved it. There is even a little peice of art as you enter that says "Welcome". It made me giggle.The house had everything I needed even though I was only staying for a couple nights. All the rooms were really nice. Well stocked and had everything I would have ever needed. Especially the kitchen, there were cool gadgets in some of the drawers and cabinets. I'm a looker. But I was super excited by one thing. Well two I guess. I love morning coffee and sometimes tea in the evening to wind down. Not only did they have a Kcup/drip combo coffee maker with an assortment of Kcups. But they had a tea station!! There was a cool, almost artistic, hot water kettle. And a huge assortment of teas. Since it was just myself I slept in the master bedroom which was on the ground floor. It was super spacious. It had a kind sized bed and still felt spacious. Great bathroom with more art that made me giggle. The bed was super comfortable. And I found out when I was packing up later and took the sheets off the bed that it had a pillow topper with a cooling layer. Now I know why I never got hot in the bed! The only area upstairs I really used was the tv loft. It was super chill and easy to lounge in. And there was more cool art and stuff to see up there. Even a mini fridge to chill your drinks between shows. I only used it for a few bottles of water.There is a huge backyard with BBQs. They obviously put a lot of effort into the back yard because it was well taken care of and had all kinds of different trees lining the fence. There were also two big pomegranate (??I think) trees in one corner. They were full of blossoms and hummingbirds. Totally cool to watch! The second day I was there I did go to the community pool. It is seriously in the lot just behind the house. Not close enough to bother me with any noise, but when I went it was a 3 minute walk down the sidewalk. It was nice, clean and a good, cool temp. Wasn't freezing. But wasn't like a bathtub temp like the last place I rented with a poolAnyway, this place was so nice and so well done. I'll definitely be back. Maybe with some friends so we can use the BBQs. Thanks for having me!
