OWN Private POOL and GARDEN: Modern, open-plan 2 or 3-bedroom house with vaulted ceilings and huge outdoor decks in Arorangi, Rarotonga's sheltered west coast famed for its sunsets. Book 2-bedroom house for up to 4 people, optional 3rd bedroom garden suite making total 6 guests. Sparkling private pool within sunny, fully enclosed deck area flowing from shady front verandah, large flat lawn for games, 200m from the beach, so handy to everything on the main road: Mini Golf around the corner, town and markets, airport, great beaches, bustop at door for round-the-island bus service, bike and car hire 100 metres, several excellent restaurants within 5 mins walk, close to white sand beaches on the sunset coast for the best weather on the island!

Inside the house it is open plan, light and airy, fully insect-screened; with spacious modern kitchen, dining and living room, TV with DVD player, two large bedrooms with with choice of super-king or 2 singles in each. Extra double room makes an optional 3rd bdrm with ensuite (extra charge applies).

Large lawn with gardens, fruit trees, spacious tiled verandahs front and back for outdoor living, gas BBQ, outdoor furniture and loungers. Enjoy breakfast on the tiled verandah with beautiful mountain views ... wander 50 metres along the beach for Sunset cocktails at Manuia Beach resort .. eat out or in, meal-making's a pleasure in the bright convenient kitchen, the choice is yours. Be as lazy as you like in paradise!

Yamanika was an excellent host before and during our stay. She provided excellent directions to get o the property & she provided the best croissants! The house was light and spacious and the kitchen had everything you could ever want. However, the private pool was the highlight for us - spent most of our afternoons just lazing in and around it. A truly relaxing holiday.

Leigh & Stewart were the most wonderful guests to host! From start to finish, communication was clear and pleasant. They respected all the house rules and left the home remarkably clean, tidy, and well-cared for. Hosting them was an absolute breeze, and I would gladly welcome them back anytime. What a fantastic home away from home. Well set up! Loved the space and the pool.Bring ear plugs if you don't like roosters crowing, dogs barking and traffic noise. But that's Raro! Access to the beach a bit dodgy down past other properties and beach not the best. Suggest having a hire vehicle to get to other places if you can.Overall loved it!

Lovely decent size home, lovely layout, clean and with a well stocked kitchen and wonderful pool area. Close to the Dairy for your basic food supplies and also so close to some wonderful restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. Great screened windows and doors all round to keep the bugs out as well.

Yamanika was a delight to deal with and checked in to make sure I had everything I needed and that everything was in order. The house is well equipped. There are bug screens on all the windows and doors.I definitely had a very comfortable stay and easily felt at home. Nothing on Rarotonga is far and I particularly enjoyed the location of the property (on the west coast) as it made for easy access to sunsets on the beach nearby as well as Aroa lagoon for snorkeling which I could get to in about 10 minutes on the E-bike I rented.The house is only a few metres off the main road. If you’re someone who struggles to sleep with noise I’d recommend ear plugs as there is usually quite a bit to traffic going past the house (as with any house on/near the main road).

Tiffy was a wonderful guest to host! I am sorry about the road noise , a bit out of my control but will have some ear plugs available for future guests...Tiffy respected all the house rules and left the home remarkably clean, tidy, and well-cared for. Hosting her was an absolute breeze she was pleasant and friendly ,and I would gladly welcome her back anytime. Highly recommended to other hosts! Yamanika

Comfortable home with clean rooms. Nice outdoor shaded area. The pool was a highlight. The house is walking distance to cafés and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay here....very good for relaxing.

Great location

Awesome location with beach and restaurants close by. Would recommend getting a rental car or scooters. Clean and nice pool - perfect for six of us.

Awesome location

Perfect size with a pool for 6. Has everything you need. Is very close to a diary, 2 resorts for food & drinks & a fire night show & mini golf, all within 5min walk in each direction.

Close to lots of handy things and places and a great sized house. We had a great time here. Just a note that there is no air con but plenty of fans in the rooms

Hibiscus Blooms

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very roomy and comfortable. We cooked at home several times and the home is well stocked. The location is excellent with beach access nearby, close to restaurants, and a market across the street. We also enjoyed the well maintained pool.

Raro escape

Perfect place to stay for a family or group. Property has everything you require and the privacy that you dont get in a resort with freedom to move. Plenty of facilities in easy walking distance. Bus at gate or hire a car. Would come again without hesitation

Amazing property was perfect, everything close by, the pool the bottle store lol. The perfect sgay for chilling, snorkling Cook Islands was not far up the road 10min drive would highly rwcommend fantastic experience and was the cheapest. Would definately stay again and high recimmend.

Perfect family home base in Raro

Very spacious house with lovely pool. The house has everything you need including kitchen and washing machine, convenience store across the road, and spaces for indoor and outdoor dining. The location is great on the sunset side of the island, close to restaurants and the beach. The view to the mountains from the sofa on the front porch and the coconut trees visible from the pool sunloungers were gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing and Beautiful Mountain views

What a beautiful place, everything was perfect from the start of booking to the end everything flow so happy, Gabrielle was awesome to communicate with.This home is beautiful and spacious, had everything you needed, views of the mountains from the veranda was awesome, home location is awesome, primo there's a store across the road, restaurants and bars just up the road (OTB) if you didn't have a vehicle when on the island you could stop the bus just out the front on the main road. Love the home, love the people, love the island can't wait to come back

More than expected

Website does not do the proerty justice. Bigger than expected and beautifully set out. 6 people can stay and not be in each others faces. Handy to dairies, restaurants, bars & beaches - awesome

Pacific Time Paradise

Wonderful location. Super friendly property owner and manager. The pool was a welcome addition with our grandchildren staying with us and to cool off without having to go to a beach. The rooms were spacious and two bathrooms were great to have with 7 of us staying. Everything you could want for a relaxing holiday. The beds were very comfortable and even the ant plague that was everywhere on the Island could not make our stay any less wonderful. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Raro hideaway

We had a brilliant time in your holiday home, It had all the things needed for self catering. It was close to several amenities and some excellent restaurants. The pool was a nice addition although we did not use as often as we thought due to the cooler weather.An excellent place. I would stay there again.Just be mindful of leaving shoes outside. The neighborhood dog has a shoe graveyard next door. I had to retrieve 3 shoes from there.Hire E bikes for TIK-E tours just 100m down the road...a good way to get around the island.

Family holiday

The home was easy to find and get into. The set up was good for the 6 of us and we liked how there was a roon more seperate from the house . The pool was clean The amenities were plentiful We didnt like how mnay ants there were all over the place insdie and out , there is definitely an issue that needs sorting as other homes we have stayed in havent had them Loved how there was plenty of seating in all areas of the home inside and out for us to relax in . Plenty of ceiling fans too which were very needed !!! Also liked how there were cleaning products in the kitchen and bathrooms so we could use if necessary When we arrived it smelt of bad body odour in one bedroom and stale cigarettes in the house Nothing that couldn't be easily sorted but maybe a fabric spray on the curtains etc would help this to be more welcoming after each guest checks out Would return for sure as we could barely hear the roosters and dogs too which was a bonus not to have to wear ear plugs like previous hones we have stayed in !!!! Thankyou

We had a fantastic time at this property. The location was perfect, and the house was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay in Rarotonga. The host was responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended for a relaxing island getaway

We are a Kiwi couple with grandchildren aged from 3 to 16 and we have been coming to the Cook Islands on holiday for 25 years. In 2010 we able to buy our house and upgrade it to holiday rental standard, adding our own private pool and a third bedroom suite. We are based in Auckland but spend several weeks in Raro each year, and we continue to make improvements to the house and garden, knowing that what we enjoy so much, others will too!

After so many years holidaying I many different properties, we knew what would make Raro perfect for us and this house, Pacific Time, is it. We have the best of all worlds here... best weather on the island, wonderful sunsets and we are spoilt for choice when in comes to Happy Hour beach bars and restaurants close by, yet we have a lovely spacious kitchen, BBQ, loads of outdoor seating to cater for ourselves right here at home.
