Our family bach is very comfortable and roomy, with decks at the front and back. The back yard is fully fenced, with access to a private walkway that takes you directly to the beach. There is an outdoor shower for rinsing off the salt and sand. The front yard has plenty of room for lawn games, with a couple of fruit trees. You can often find a lemon or a lime for the fish or G&T's.
The kitchen is well stocked with basics, and plenty of cooking equipment.
There is a BBQ with gas bottle available.
TV & wifi is now available, but we encourage you to just kick back and relax, read a book, play board games, sit outside at night and watch the night sky, while enjoying the art of conversation.

Matapouri is the perfect place for your family holiday. There are so many amazing places to explore right on your doorstep. - The stunning Whale Bay via the Headland track, the Matapouri Estuary, or just sit on the beach and watch the waves.
If you can drag yourself away, then this is a good base to explore Northland.
