With its four bedrooms, impressive cinema room, top quality outdoor spa pool, and thoughtful styling and stunning furnishings, this home is the perfect retreat for a Queenstown getaway. With flexible bedding configurations, this home suits families, couples or friends.
VIEWS:
Prepare to be captivated by the awe-inspiring views. Perched high on Queenstown Hill, this home offers panoramic vistas of Bayonet Peak, Cecil Peak, Walter Peak, the Queenstown Gardens, and the magnificent Lake Wakatipu. Floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors line the front of the main room, providing the perfect frame for the breathtaking landscapes and maximum photo opportunities.
LOCATION:
Conveniently located just a 15-minute walk down to central Queenstown, Papillon offers the best of both worlds. Guests can enjoy the vibrant energy and attractions of downtown while retreating to a tranquil alpine oasis situated in a quiet neighbourhood. Coronet Peak is the closest ski field just 23 minutes’ drive to the carpark, similarly for the wine enthusiasts there are two popular cellar doors Amisfield and Mora just a short 16–19-minute drive away on route to nearby charming Arrowtown.
STYLE:
Luxurious and incredibly spacious, split over three levels with multiple outdoor areas. Papillon has been beautifully styled with Italian furnishings and commissioned artwork.
BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS:
With four bedrooms each boasting its own ensuite, everyone can enjoy having their own privacy and convenience. The large master bedroom located on the top level, has the ‘wow’ factor with a private balcony, desk, walk-in wardrobe, and stunning panoramic views. Bedroom 2 is spacious with a Smart TV, walk-in wardrobe, ensuite, beautiful lake views, and patio access to the spa pool. Bedroom 3 is spacious with a Smart TV, ensuite, beautiful lake views, and patio access to the spa pool. Bedroom 4 is the smallest of the bedrooms and does not have lake views.
The master bathroom and ensuite 2 have twin sinks and a separate spa bath and shower. Ensuites 3 and 4 have a shower. There is an additional guest toilet on the main level of the villa. All bathrooms are well equipped with luxurious toiletries.

LIVING AREA & MEDIA ROOM:
Papillon has been designed to create a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces while maximizing the stunning views. Relax by the gas fire in the cosy open-plan living area, watch your favourite shows on the Smart TV with SKY, there is also Netflix and Sonos surround sound (connect from your personal Smart phone or use the tablet provided), or indulge in a cinematic experience in the truly impressive media room with an 85` Smart TV.
KITCHEN AND DINING:
The kitchen is truly a chef’s dream with top quality cabinetry, countertops, appliances, wine fridge, coffee machine and bar stool seating. Whether you choose to dine indoors or outdoors, both dining areas provide ample seating for eight, allowing you to savour your meals while soaking up the iconic views.
THE GREAT OUTDOORS:
Step onto the spacious lake-facing balcony, complete with an outdoor dining table, lounge, and BBQ, a perfect space for al fresco entertaining. And for a real treat, pamper yourself with a soak in the top quality ‘Hot Spring’ spa pool* on the lower level patio (*additional charges apply) while admiring the paragliders gliding down from Bob`s Peak and taking in the majestic mountain vistas.
OTHER PRACTICALITIES:
Other practicalities and comforts include heat pumps/air conditioning in the main living room and master bedroom, additional electric heating, a double garage with internal access, a drying cupboard for wet ski gear, full laundry facilities, and an internal lift.
LARGE GROUPS, WEDDINGS & EVENTS:

GETTING AROUND: Hiring a vehicle is not required as you can walk to town but may be recommended for convenience of bringing home groceries, exploring the stunning area, and for ease of getting up and down the hill.
RATES, INCLUSIONS & MINIMUM STAYS:
Rates are inclusive of 15% GST, premium linen and for a maximum of eight guests. A departure clean fee of NZ$495 applies. Bookings of 8 nights or more receive a complimentary mid-stay service with fresh towels. (Bed linen change not included; upgrade to a full linen change is available for $200 including GST). Minimum 3-night stay year-round, and 4-7 nights during peak periods.
The friendly team from Relax It`s Done will be on call during your stay for special requests and assistance if needed. We can provide full concierge services - perfect for local knowledge, insights on the hidden gems and to make your holiday hassle free.
*Spa Pool: A one-off charge of NZ$150 applies for use of the spa pool. This is to have it professionally valeted and heated prior to your arrival. Payment will need to be arranged directly with your property manager.

Credit card fees are non-refundable. This is important to be aware of if you choose to pay your balance ahead of the due date.
BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS:
- Guest(s) making a booking must be over 25 years of age. Any guests under 25 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of their stay.
- Papillon is a residential dwelling and no parties or events are to be held, unless prior arrangements are confirmed with your property manager. (Events fee and terms & conditions apply).
- Please be mindful that the property is located in a residential area and be courteous to your neighbours. As per Resource Consent with council, quiet hours are to be observed between 10pm and 7am.
- We are required to take a security bond pre-authorisation hold in addition to the total booking price. (n/a to Airbnb bookings).
- A standard exit clean is included with your booking; however, you are expected to leave the property in a satisfactory state (clear and tidy). Charges may apply for loss of keys, excessive rubbish, sorting contaminated rubbish/recycling, excessive cleaning or damage to the property for example.
- Charges may also apply for travel costs and management/staff time if for example, having to make a dump run, coordination of tradesman/repairs, additional property visits, shop for replacements, and so forth.
