Come to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of this waterfront home! Wrap-around 2 level deck just steps away from boat slip and lake swimming area. Large home situated on beautiful tree covered backyard- room for yard games, a picnic, fire pit, and grilling out. New grill purchased 2021!
Home is well taken care of with lots of upgrades. Beautiful kitchen and large living space for relaxing as you watch boats cruise by. Master bedroom has private door to deck. Wide open basement for game room and movies, and has mini kitchen.
Bring your boat to tie off on the 2 slip dock or rent from several marinas nearby. Also included is a large RV pad with electrical hookup.
The location:
Monkey Island. Just 3 miles from Shangri La Golf and Spa Resort. Water sports rentals nearby. Enjoy boating to several restaurants close to home. One of them has a pool to wade in while you wait!
No matter if you come to play on the water, or relax in front of some stunning views, you will leave feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.

We had the best stay!! Perfect location on the lake with views for days. Plenty of space for our family to hang out and my little guy LOVED the backyard space. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Robin was so easy to communicate with and made sure everything was going well. We will absolutely be staying again!

Spring break 2025

This was our 3rd time at the lake house. Each time it’s absolutely tranquil. House is always exceptionally clean. Would highly recommend.

Spring break getaway

This was our second time staying at the lake house. It was absolutely perfect! The house was immaculate. Again Robin made our stay spectacular and we can’t wait to book for a summer return trip.

Beautiful house on the lake

House was amazing and just as beautiful as the pictures. We went with a group of guys as a bachelor weekend. Plenty of room for hanging out in the lake or back yard. House and host were very accommodating, would definitely come back and recommend to anyone wanting to get relax on the lake.

Great house on the lake !!

This house is on a great lot with lots of room, Beautiful views with dock. House is equipped for the perfect getaway. Only negative is the beds are rock hard. We would definitely rent this home again!

Grand Haven

A Great Lake front property with lots of room for multiple people. Awesome place to stay if you’re looking to do any fishing and utilize the dock. Even if you don’t have a boat we caught several fish off the dock. I would highly recommend as the property owners were really easy to work with and everything was just as advertised.

Fantastic property for families

My family had a wonderful time at the property on Monkey Island. The property owner Robin made our trip amazing! She accommodated a request prior to our arrival. It saved me hours from going to the store to pick it up on my own. Great overall experience and would highly recommend.

Great house with a beautiful view of the lake

Wonderful property with a gorgeous backyard view of the lake. Easy location in a quiet neighborhood. Spacious deck area made for perfect evenings. Lake access from the property dock made for a great time out on the water. Host was easy to contact and answered quickly. The grill needed a deep clean but no true complaints about this property! 10/10 would book again!

Family get away

Thank you to Robin, the owner of the Grand Lake Escape! The house felt like home and accommodated our entire family very comfortably. The minute you open the front door you see the breathtaking view of the lake! There was room for everyone with the open floor plan and plenty of places to lay our heads. The large decks, gazebo, finished basement, and dock were bonus areas for us to gather and enjoy! We have already booked our second stay and are excited to make more memories at the Grand Lake Escape. We recommend you book your stay today!

Great getaway

Our family of five, plus our three bonus kids (8 total), truly enjoyed our stay at this home. Beautiful location. Accommodations were exactly as described. Listening to the birds on the back porch with coffee in the mornings was my favorite. The kids enjoyed floating and swimming by the dock. We rented a boat two days and it was super easy to load and unload our goods. Plenty of room for our crew. Beds were good as well. Host was responsive and helpful!

Salsbury Family Golf Weekend

This home is perfect, the view of the lake from the inside or outside is picturesk. Being November we did not get on the lake but we did get on the golf course everyday at Shangri La. The courses are awesome! Then we come back to the house to enjoy family, fishing, grilling, cards, etc. So much fun! Robin, your a great host and than you for sending someone over the blow the leaves.

Great view

The views from the deck are amazing. Relaxing and peaceful. Stayed in summer but imagine it’s great in spring or fall when temps allow for more outdoor time. Plenty of room. The backyard was wonderful. The only opportunities we’d note were we couldn’t get the TVs to work. Some damage to towel bars and walls in the master bath needs repair.

Spring rest and re-charge

Three generations of our family (5 of us) had an amazing stay at Grand Lake. We decided - last minute- to book a 3 night getaway. Robin, the host, was super easy to work with and very quick to respond to questions before and during our stay. The mattresses are very firm, but super comfortable. We had more than enough room and everything we needed. It did take some trial and error to figure out which light switches to use but we did figure it out. We enjoyed watching the sun rise each morning and even though it was still a bit chilly for anything on the water, we loved just looking at the lake. We had fun exploring- antiques, mini golf and Har Ber Village in Grove, followed by ping pong and board games and s’mores around the fire pit.

Amazing property on grand lake

My kids and I spent a very relaxed weekend, Robin was extremely great to communicate with. My daughter just got diagnosed with TY1 and I needed to get her away for couple of days to enjoy some down time. And Robin was very kind to let us check out 12:00 PM. The view in the morning from the living room is enough on its own. Can’t wait to schedule another trip there.

Beautiful home and view.

This home has amazing amenities. The private dock was absolutely great for our fishing boat. The morning view while drinking coffee from the deck was gorgeous. I would highly recommend this home to anyone at all.

Tremendous long weekend on Grand Lake. Starting with spectacular early morning sunrises, fun on the lake all day and plenty of room in the house for playing cards without climbing over people

Excellent place

Great view and location. The residence was clean and had plenty of room for everyone. Only thing I was unhappy about was the small outdated TV in the basement. Not ideal for a large group to watch something. Only other TV was in the master bedroom, and it was also small and outdated. Wasn't a major issue since most of the time was spent out on the lake. But with the price, you would expect a little better. Overall this was an excellent place and the location is perfect. Lots of bars, restaurants, golf courses near by. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay

Great place to rent and stay on Grand. Location is perfect. House is right on the water with a great back yard, decks, and dock. The inside is comfortable, clean, with plenty of room to relax, sleep, and hang.
