Its a lovely house that suited our needs, great gardne and views over the vines. The Kitchen was well set up with everything we needed for our gourmet cooks. A manual for the stove would have been useful as it seemed to have some tricks that we worked out eventually. The layout of the place worked well for us, lots of different to hang out. The covered courtyard was lovely along with the deck of the cottage.Issues with the toilet plumbing in the cottage meant it could not be used, inconveniencing the guests using the cottage and it could not be rectified on the day we reported it. The garbage collection area was full, meaning we had to be in touch again to ensure there was room for our garbage, but it was addressed immediately, thanks. The directions on Stayz website were confusing, showing the property on the other side of the road. It would have been useful to have the name of the property on arrival so we know which one of the two to go to when entering the drive. The kitchen garbage was awkward as one of the bins kept dropping through the hanging arrangement. The panel in front of the lovely fireplace fell completely off but we managed to temporarily place it back, could be dangerous for other guests though.Overall, a lovely stay, the weather was great, it was warm inside but felt the house is showing a bit of neglect, possibly due to it being on the market?.We would stay there again, knowing some of the quirks and if the toilet in the cottage is working!
