Nestled in one of Port Huron's nicest neighborhoods and completely remodeled in 2020, this first floor apartment features all the modern amenities. Enjoy distant lake views from inside and out. Situated on a third of an acre, there's plenty of room to play or relax in the park like setting while watching boats go by.

The upstairs unit is available to rent as well, making this property perfect for large extended families. Being that the home is 100+ years old, you will be able to hear people in the upstairs apartment. If noise is a concern for you, please consider renting upstairs.

Designated (not shared) washer/dryer, ping pong, and basketball is located in the basement. Trash bags, dish washer pods, laundry detergent, starter coffee and starter paper products are provided.

Close to everything! Private beach access is not available, but you'll have your choice of four public beaches all within a half mile. Lakeside Beach features a splash pad, playgrounds, beach volleyball, concession stand and 1050' of beach. Lakeside Beach parking pass provided, as well as utility cart, beach towels, toys, and chairs. Enjoy Lighthouse Beach's 900' of beach and park which are only half a mile away. Additionally, there are two small neighborhood beaches. The Blue Water Bridge and riverfront walkway are only a mile away. Downtown Port Huron is about a five minute car ride, as are Target, Kroger, Meijer, etc. Desmond Landing is 3.5 miles. Several public golf courses are located within 10-20 minutes. Charming downtown Lexington is a 25 minute drive. McLaren Hospital is 2.3 miles.

IMPORTANT: The upstairs unit may be occupied by long or short term guests. Manager lives adjacent to the property; no parties, no fireworks, respectful non-smoking guests only.

We had a wonderful weekend at this property. The location was fantastic and we really enjoyed several walks along the waterfront to get to either of the two beaches within waking distance. We were in the lower half of the house. It had everything we needed, was very clean and comfortable. There were people in the unit above us that we could hear but it was not a problem at all for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location

Place was in a great location close to water, nice area for walks. House was clean and neat. Floors are original wood so they squeak a good bit. Basement even has a few weights and a bench. Will stay here again.

The property was very nice. The host was very accommodating & helpful. We wish it was more accessible to the water. Also, if you are staying on the lower you can hear the upstairs tenants.

A plein air painting oasis

Absolutely wonderful! The location, quietness of the neighborhood and easy access to all scenic areas we wanted to capture on canvas and sketchbook. So wonderful to catch up with family and friends nearby Our host TJ was gracious and accommodating. So sweet to be able to do a quick Plein air painting demo for her and kiddos there on the property. So many wonderful views to paint! Looking forward to booking a stay in the Fall for another painting expedition.

This is what you hope for when you rent a property!

The host communicated clearly and efficiently and the property was as pictured and as described. It was beautifully decorated and a perfect backdrop for our stay. There were many amenities that made our stay feel like home (from tea to an ice cream scooper we used for our Sundaes to laundry supplies). Not as a criticism, but just so other renters know, shampoo/ conditioner and body wash were not included, which was fine as I had brought my own. The beaches were indeed walking distance (a bucket or footbath for rinsing feet would have helped us cut down on the sand we tracked in). The neighborhood was cute and everyone we encountered was very friendly. Overall a very pleasant experience and we would not hesitate to rent from this host again.

Great long weekend getaway

Beautiful apartment with all the comforts of home. Instructions were clear, parking convenient. We wish the walk to the beach was easier, there aren't sidewalks, and a lot of street traffic, but that's not anyone's fault. We appreciated the beachfront parking pass instead! I would definitely recommend this property for a stay in the area.

Comfortable stay

We had a comfortable stay with our pet dog over the long weekend in August. It is a clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated house. The trespassing signs in the neighborhood were a bit intimidating.

This gorgeous property is located walking distance to four beaches and close enough to walk to the Blue Water Bridge. The location is great even without beach front property as it is located one block off the beach. The house was very clean and had been updated. All the features were nice with basic cooking utensils provided, including farm fresh eggs and local coffee. Beds were comfortable. There are two properties in the house - upper and lower, and the other tenants were kind. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. True midwest charm! There are limited sidewalks in the neighborhood. The host checked in with us to ask if we needed any items for our children and to see how our stay was going. The host was quick to respond to any questions and was very accommodating. Super nice and friendly!

Perfect spot for a family beach vacation.

This apartment was perfect for our family vacation. My husband and I, my son, daughter and son's fiancé spent a wonderful week here. The place was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed! The beds are very comfortable and the towels fluffy! We loved the location and walked to both Lakeside and Lighthouse beaches. We had plenty of beach towels as well as a wagon to pull our beach provisions and beach chairs. We found the kitchen well suited to our needs and big tables inside and out to share our family meals or play board games. I grew up in Port Huron but had not been back in over 25 years. TJ provided a beautiful place for me to show my family how wonderful summers on Lake Huron can be!

Beautiful Property, Wonderful Stay

Property was super clean and EXACTLY as pictured and discribed. My family of five stayed here for the week of July 4th and loved every minute of it! The bed linens were nice and soft down duvets with down pillows. The bath towels were the softest, fluffiest towels I have ever used. Lots of closet space. All the amenities you need, even qtips and cotton balls! We have plenty of room to spread out and not be on top of each other all the time. Cute little patio off the back door with a patio table for six and a couple chairs to relax and watch the water. TJ, the property owner, lives just down the drive and was very accessible and there whenever we needed her (like when we locked ourselves out). She went above and beyond, even inviting us to use her private beach for a night! I can't say enough good things about this place. Definitely worth every penny!

Great stay

We had a wonderful, comfortable stay! The location was super convenient to the lake, downtown Port Huron, and shopping. The space is exactly as pictured and described. Everyone had a great night’s sleep and the kitchen was well-appointed with what we needed to cook meals. TJ gave great recommendations and was a super communicative host. We look forward to visiting again.

Wondeful

Our busy family enjoyed this darling rental to the fullest! We had a wonderful week of relaxing at the lake and hanging out together! TJ was so incredibly responsive to questions and checked in to make sure everything was going well! She also let us know of several places to visit while on our trip to Port Huron!!! If you get the opportunity to go, we definitely recommend staying here and enjoying the beautiful lake!

Had a great time!

Beautifully remodeled unit - very comfortable and functional. Great backyard area for kids to play. Neighborhood is very quiet. We loved that grocery stores and shopping areas are conveniently less than 10 minutes away. Best part is the proximity to beaches. The owner TJ was very helpful and responsive to all queries. We loved that our 2 year old had toys to play with in the unit as well as a beach wagon that she greatly enjoyed riding to the beaches :-)

Lovely place to stay.

This property was clean, quiet, roomy and comfortable. It was close to everything we enjoy near Port Huron. The owners were thoughtful and responded immediately when we had a question.
