When you stay at Dido’s Place, you’re dealing directly with me, not a property manager or another third party. I’m available from your initial enquiry right through to checkout, and I take pride in going the extra mile to make sure everything feels easy, welcoming and well thought out.

We chose the Hawkesbury because it offers the perfect balance of space, nature and adventure. It feels a world away from city life, yet it’s still only around 90 minutes from Sydney, making it easy for families to arrive relaxed rather than exhausted.
What we love most is the sense of openness and calm. There’s room for kids to explore, breathe and play freely, and space for adults to slow down and unwind. The changing seasons, starry nights, fresh air and surrounding farmland create a peaceful backdrop that instantly helps you switch off.
At the same time, the area is full of things to do such as fruit picking, river activities, bushwalks, local markets, historic villages and exploring the nearby Blue Mountains. You can be as active or as relaxed as you like.
For us, the Hawkesbury is about families spending quality time together, feeling connected and enjoying shared adventures, and that’s what we wanted to offer our guests.
