Overall property was fine. The shower leaked the management company did absolutely nothing for us, and has not reached out. The property management solutions was to use another bathroom, which there was no other bathroom. They also told us to not shower, we were in town for a graduation, we had to shower. We had 5 adults staying at the property. We are extremely disappointed in Red awning as they are still a plumber to fix the problems. The Host did not reach out to advise us on what to do. We feel sorry for the owners of this property. We feel as though the management company is doing you a disservice. This property does have an ant problem, please be advised as you will be killing ants if you rent this property.As of 11:25 on Sunday red awning has not resolved anything.

Great Marathon Weekend Location

Three adults used this house for the Eau Claire Marathon weekend. It was good for three unrelated adults. I wouldn't have wanted to share a room. Beds were comfortable. The rental unit is half of the house. It was in a perfect location. The neighborhood is gorgeous. We would return to this property.

Great place to stay in Eau Claire's Third Ward

We were in town for a belated holiday family gathering that lives in the area. Very comfortable and cozy place that met all of our needs. Nicely updated kitchen and bath, living room and comfortable beds. The house was toasty despite the very cold weather this weekend. Just a note to others since it wasn't obvious to me in the listing (condo?) but this house is half of a duplex although the other half was quiet probably due to the winter holiday while school is out perhaps so it wasn't a problem. Could be a student rental (easy walking distance to UWEC campus) I have no idea. Thanks again!

Nice house with terrible customer service and communication

We stayed for a long weekend with 5 adults and a 7 week old infant. The house itself was lovely, but halfway through our stay the door code was changed on us, and we were completely locked out in winter for a large part of the day trying desperately to contact the host. Unfortunately this listing through VRBO is actually a large vacation rental company that does not monitor VRBO and does not provide a direct way to contact a local host. We called, emailed, messaged in app multiple times each before finally getting through by phone. I'm till trying to get a partial refund and having issues with various support agents unable to assist me.
