A Hidden Gem Denmark Escape by the Lake

Escape from the hustle of the city, visit Denmark and stay in this beautifully appointed studio. Imagine relaxing by the Lake with a glass of local wine in hand taking in the beauty of the Water Lillies and central fountain. Be entertained by the family of resident ducks and the local kangaroos who call this place home. The main house and separate Studio are situated on a large semi rural block surrounded by private manicured gardens with a border of towering Karri and Gum trees. The studio has two queen bedrooms with the downstairs bedroom adjoining the bathroom and the other on the mezzanine level. The loft bedroom is accessed by a staircase, therefore is not suitable for the elderly or disabled person. All quality bed linen is supplied including towels. The lower level includes a kitchenette which is fitted out with cooking facilities including a microwave, double hotplate, cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery, glassware and washing machine. There is a good sized fridge, TV, lounge and dining suite. The courtyard offers a tranquil place to enjoy breakfast with an outdoor dining suite and BBQ and is surrounded by beautiful private landscaped gardens. Only a two minute drive to the Denmark township this is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Denmark offers trendy cafes, restaurants and the Wilson Inlet. If it's a swim you want, a six-minute drive will take you to picturesque Ocean Beach. Greens Pool and Waterfall Beach. Enjoy what the Great Southern has to offer like the Tree Top Walk, local wineries, the Boston Brewery, Denmark Chocolate Factory, Denmark Farmhouse Cheese or a boat cruise on the Wilson River. This studio offers a beautiful retreat to come home to after a busy day.
Please note - This property is not suitable for unsupervised toddlers or children under 10 due to the lake being unfenced and not being suitable for swimming.

Beautiful location and amazing hosts. Charmaine and Kevin were welcoming, informative and generous. The property was spotlessly clean and smelt delightful. It was comfortable and practical and had a lot of little touches.The gardens and lake were gorgeous and felt tropical even though we were on the south coast of WA.Loved our stay and highly recommend it for short or longer stays.

We were very happy for our first stay at an Vrbo. Our hosts were exceptional. They were there to great us with open arms and delicious carrot cake muffins. The Chalet was a perfect home away from home. The property itself was well maintained and the yard around was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.

We have just spent five nights at The Studio, over the Easter long weekend, and had a fantastic time away. The Studio was perfect for our needs (we are a family of four, including two teenagers) and very comfortable (including very comfortable beds) and the perfect location as it is walking distance to the heart of Denmark. Although there no inbuilt cooker, there were plenty of gadgets for us to be able to prepare and cook meals, including electric frypan, an electric hot plate, microwave etc, and plenty of kitchen ware. Charmaine and Kevin were terrific hosts and provided everything we needed to make our stay a comfortable experience. And the place was spotless.We can highly recommend The Studio as a fabulous place to stay when visiting Denmark.

Perfect Weekender

The Studio was exactly as described but even better in reality.A beautiful, peaceful location and just 2 minutes' drive to town. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable beds. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating.We loved our Weekend Stay and would love to return again sometime.

Stunning Studio

We loved our stay at the studio, it’s such a beautiful location & has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Fantastic all round

We only had an overnight stay due to having to get out of our home for the removalists to them.packing and loadingEscape by the Lake really was an oasis for us to relax with all the amenities we needed.Charmaine catered for our special request which we really appreciated.Would certainly come again and recommend to my friends and family

What a peaceful and serene unit and garden. Lots of birdsong and the occasional kangaroo crossing the field behind. My friends from USA couldn’t believe the beauty of the area. Charmaine and Trev were wonderful hosts.
