We will be back

We had a great stay at Splash of Blue. The accommodations were fantastic. The kitchen as lacking some necessities but the beds were comfortable, the theater room was awesome, pool was a lot of fun and the game room was a blast.

Long weekend

I booked this property for our family for a long weekend. The property was exactly as presented in the pictures. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well decorated. The indoor pool was a big hit with the kids! We were less than 5 minutes to gas & groceries, less than 10 minutes to Gatlinburg, and less than 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge. We will definitely come back!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Loved the cabin and location. Was near lots of attractions and restaurants which is a plus. Only thing that could've been better was more parking.

Our entire family loved it!

There was something for every age (from 4-72) to enjoy at this beautiful house. It’s close to Gatlinburg, too. We will certainly be back!

Wedding

Came to gatlinburg for our wedding with family. There was plenty of room for every one. The house was amazing. Parking was good for 4 vehicles. It was a very nice place to stay close to town and easy to get to. I would stay here again if i took a large group.

Nice and clean cabin!!!

We liked our stay at the property. It was spacious and clean. Also, each room has a nice and clean attached full bathroom. While they advertise that cabin has only parking for 2 cars, We were manage to park 4 cars ( Two Honda Odyssey, one Toyota Corolla, one Hyundai Juke).

A perfect place

This cabin was perfect for my friends and I for a night! We wish we could have stayed longer! The cabin was beautiful, big, clean and modern! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and sauna! There is limited parking space and the cabin is a little difficult to find on Apple Maps but google maps pulled it up easy.

This place is amazing.

Splash of Blue was everything I could have hoped for and more. The ease of check-in was perfect. The rooms and accommodations were just as described and made room assignments equal and easy. The location was a stone’s throw from East Parkway which made access to everything super easy. I would definitely book again. And we were visited by bears daily so make sure you follow the bear avoidance instructions.

Family Vacation

Needed a larger home for our entire family of 17 to celebrate a belated 50th anniversary. A Splash of Blue provided this and more. Everything was very clean and host checked in with us to make sure everything was ok with us. Had a very good time in Gatlinburg. Highly recommend

Short Family Gathering

Property was exactly as listed. Beautiful home...spacious...exceeded expectations. Would recommend updating area parking to accommodate large groups and make it more handicap accessible.

Beautiful Home

This was our family Christmas and New Years. This home was beautiful and had something for everyone. It wasn't within walking distance from town for the more mature, but was a short drive. The host/management team were very/quickly responsive to our questions and needs. We highly recommend! Happy New Year!

I have no idea how or why you build a 6 bedroom cabin that holds 18 people and only have parking for 2 cars.

I had a wonderful time everything was great, except for the cold pool water and wifi because of that were unable to use the theater. But overall it was a great experience.

Great cabin

Everything was great with this cabin location space for each couple to be in their own bedroom. Only bad was hot tub never warmed up after we arrived and tv in theater was not hooked up for Wi-Fi and password for that particular network not provided. We didn’t try it until late on our last night and office was already closed. A DVD player is provided but we didn’t bring dvds to watch a movie. It had Netflix and Disney plus apps but couldn’t use due to Wi-Fi being down.

Great rental.

If your going to see a good mountain view this isn't the house you want. Had an issue with the air conditioner but, they got it serviced promptly. We also found that the pool alarm is yes very nice but, at the same time very annoying. Anytime the door was opened it sounded very loudly. It didnt matter of you pressed the button before entering the door or bot. So anyone sleeping in the lower bedroom was woken immediately. Over excellent house. Would definitely recommend..

The cabin was wonderful but pool and internet did not work.

We received a call on the way to the cabin that the pool was having issues with heat. The company did not communicate like I was told they would about finding the pool. We did not get to use it all and the internet never worked.

Several Improvements Needed

The parking was terrible since we had 6 families and 6 vehicles and only 2 parking spots. This needs improved for sure. There also needs to be baby gates at all the stair entrances up and down. We had (2) children fall and get busted lips. The cabin also needs more garbage cans as (2) cans fills up quickly with that amount of people.

Nice Cabin.

The cabin was very nice and we were able to check in a bit early with the information that the pool guy had not been there yet to clean. We were told that he would be by to clean it. He never showed on Friday, check in day. We called again Saturday because there was stuff floating in the pool and we were advise that a call was out and that he would be by to clean it. Never showed. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy the pool to not only from the stuff floating, but it was cold. Both these issues were brought up in the call on Friday. Other than the pool issues, the cabin was great and both Brandy and Amanda we a pleasure to speak with.

Close to Gatlinburg; Not well appointed for 18

We stayed at this cabin with 18 people over Thanksgiving. Here are the pros and cons: PROs: Close to Gatlinburg and the artist loop. The house had enough bathrooms and the bathrooms and bedrooms were nice. Nice decks. CONs: This house really isn’t meant for 18. There are 6 bedrooms and one is in the pool room. It smelled like chlorine. 10 people would be comfortable in this house. This house is NOT accessible for elderly or very young children. There are a lot of stairs. Getting into the cabin is difficult- there are uneven and unlit stone steps. The kitchen is not well equipped. Bring your own cooking utensils and knives if you plan on cooking. Not even close to enough parking. Because the house is so narrow, there isn’t a place to gather with a large group of people.

Not as promised.

We had high hopes to enjoy the amenities this property offered. Unfortunately it did not deliver. We were able to spend quality time together but the swimming pool was very cloudy (not clean), the hot tub didn’t work at all and there were some A/C issues that were not resolved during the cold days in the mountains. We were quick to address issues via email and phone but were not compensated for anything. In fact no one will take responsibility for the issues and we still had to pay the full price. Disappointing but it didn’t dampen our family spirits.

Excellent stay!

We enjoyed the cabin so much! Check in was easy and communication with Eden was top notch. Only con for the trip in parking. There was only 2 parking spots for the cabin. I suggest letting people know ahead of time so they can minimize the amount of vehicles coming to the property. But other that that it was great and we will return.
