A serene waterfront perch! Panoramic sunsets, huge deck with cliff-hung hot tub

Let this place take your breath away anytime of year. Enjoy the panaramic sunsets or the the whales swimming by from the cliff-hung hot-tub or from the massive decks. This place was custom built to offer a visitor a true westcoast experience with the natural beauty of its setting and the comforts of home.

Launch your kayaks or swim from a nearby beach or take in the spectacular local hikes of Francis Point Park, Skookcumchuck, Pender Hill or Daniel Mountain or the Suncoast Trail.

The suite offers a full kitchen with a convection/microwave oven, induction cooktop, outdoor bbq under shelter, dishwasher. Amenities include, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, blender. A kingsize bed and queen bed pullout will accommodate up to 4 guests. Cozy fireplace will take the chill out of any weather.
Have kids? A pack and play bed, potty, playtable with chairs, and highchair are available on request. Bathroom is complete with a large shower, heated floors and all the amenities including a stacking w/d for light loads. Also hairdryer, illuminated mirror, basic toiletries.

Forgot something? The village of Madeira Park, a 10 minurte drive away and offers grocery stores, liquor store, pharmacy, bookstore, coffeeshop and a public marina. Local fare might have you at the Legion for a game of pool, darts, dinner and live music.

Want to eat out? The Grasshopper Pub, Mama Sushi, Aqui Es Mexico, The Lagoon in the Painted Boat resort, Ruby Lake Resort, the BackEddy pub in Egmont. Check for current hours.

Nancy and Gord are your hosts and live full time on the property in their primary home, a separate building, and will be pleased to you answer any questions you might have.
The suite is located partially below a secondary garage used by owners with the access down from the a flight of stairs on the east side by the portico.

Fenomenal property. Welcoming host. Very quite with stunning view. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you need. Loved our stay, we will definitely be back.

Incredible vacation home

This was such a great place to stay! Morning coffees with ocean views and humpback whales! Lots to do from great local hikes to beach combing! The hosts went out of their way to put small touches to make us feel right at home! We will be coming back very soon!

Amazing experience

The pictures don’t do this place justice, it’s even more beautiful in person. The hosts are very kind and provide everything (down to individually wrapped makeup wipes!). The place is very clean as well. I would love to visit again.

Waterfront Beauty

This suite is all one could ask for. With the breathtaking vistas of the water from both the spacious, modern deck and inside the comfortable, clean suite, we wished we could extend our stay. The hot tub was a real treat with amazing views and the sunsets were incredible. Eating meals on the deck overlooking the water was a beautiful experience. Eagle sightings was the cherry on top of our relaxing getaway. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful views and great hospitality

The perfect place to relax and the views were spectacular! Nancy's suite is brand new, and she provided everything we would possibly need, from robes and comfy Turkish towels for the hot tub, to plenty of spices and condiments in the kitchen. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, as were the two couches. She also had great recommendations for local hikes! The deck and hot tub were the icing on the cake, and the layout of the suite is perfect for enjoying the views. We would definitely come back again!

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights on our way down the coast and we were sad we didn't stay longer. The pictures look so amazing and they don't do it any justice. Besides the huge deck and hot tub, the interior of the house was second to none. The attention to detail and professional decor makes the space so easy and calming to be in. We could tell that every small detail was considered, from the kitchen utensils to the professional grade appliances. The lighting was amazing, and there are world class views in every direction. We ended up getting take out for dinner the first night because we didn't want to leave and we spent the whole next day on the deck. We had rain, sun, Bald Eagles..you couldn't ask for more and we'll definitely be headed back when we're in the area.

Little piece of paradise!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Vrbo! We stayed with our two young kids (ages 2 and 4), and it was the perfect getaway. Nancy and Gord are fantastic hosts who have truly thought of everything to make the rental feel like home.The house is stocked with everything you might need, and we really appreciated the electrical fireplace—it gave us major cozy vibes all weekend long.The deck is massive, and the views are unreal! It was such a treat to relax out there, and the kids absolutely loved the hot tub. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we were able to BBQ and enjoy family meals with ease. Inside, the huge windows let us enjoy the stunning view no matter the weather.There are also some great local places to hike and lovely beaches nearby to explore, which was perfect for our little ones to burn off some energy. We’ve already recommended this place to several friends and family members because we know they won’t be disappointed.A huge thank you to Nancy and Gord for sharing your amazing home with us. We can’t wait to come back!

WOW far exceeded our expectations! The view is 2nd to none looking at the Malaspina Strait, various islands, inlets & coves with boats going back and forth to the lagoon and never ending marine & wildlife. Truly mesmerizing, couldn't stop looking out the windows or enjoying meals on the well furnished spacious deck. The accommodations are well built, comfortable and as clean as it gets. On our way there we had a delicious breakfast at Juno in Sechelt (right off Hwy 101). We stayed for 7 nights and got excellent take out from Aqui Es Mexico & Triple B's Burger Shack in Madeira Park. There are many options for eating out but check the operating hours & days before you go as they all differ. Our gracious hosts kept in touch to ensure we had everything we needed.

I loved this house from the moment I saw it on the VRBO website last August. It more than met my expectations! Communication with the host was excellent and wish our schedules meshed so I could have met them. The house was spotless and I was greeted with a nice snack plate, very welcome given my 10pm arrival from the East Coast. I decompressed with a spa ritual at Painted Boat, about 10 minutes away. Highly recommend! I also took two tours with Metta Eco Adventures-one of Hotham Sound to Harmony Falls; the other was a nighttime bioluminescence kayak paddle.My best dinners were at Wilderness Lodge in Egmont (so good I went a second time). Also Lagoon at Painted Boat and La Trattoria Italian on Ruby Lake. After every day’s adventures it was great to watch the late evening sunset from the hot tub, listening only to the lapping waves below.Thanks for a lovely introduction to British Columbia!

We live in a place so special that it is to be shared with those who love a coastal experience. While retired from our professions the spirit lives on, Nancy an interior designer and Gordon an engineer. Together we conceived and developed a purpose built place to accommodate Gord’s hobbies and Nancy’s hospitality. The suite is oriented away from the primary home to give complete privacy to our guests. We see this as a perfect romantic getaway for a couple, or party of friends or young family to take in a coastal getaway with nearby amenities and activities to make a stay memorable.
Now completed and brand new, we look forward to sharing this piece of paradise with you.

The coastal waterfront is never dull whatever the weather. Sealife is abundant, whales, sea lions, seals, fish jumping, migrating birds, eagles. A clear night is free from light pollution to have you in awe at the stars above.
Martin Cove is steps away to explore the beach, swim, popular to scuba dive and to launch a kayak. Also you can walk directly to Francis Point Park through the forest to the shoreline trail or from the trail head off Merril Road.

Our property is at the mouth of Pender Harbour on a rocky point. You will enjoy watching the diversity boats coming and going while feeling uniquely private from density of the harbour. One can easily kayak into the inner harbour or a 10 min drive will have you at services and restaurants nearby.
