We had a wonderful time in Halifax. The property was clean, and prepare for us with a well stocked kitchen. Our host had coffee and tea set up for us. The beds were comfortable and the quilt was perfect. We highly recommed the property, you will not be disappointed.

We are seniors. We didn’t realize that we were to enter through a side entrance and a light wasn’t on. It did cause confusion when we arrived in the dark. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again 😊

The communication with the hostess was excellent. She reached out with a lovely welcome letter when we booked. 3 days before our stay she gave us the code and simple instructions needed to gain access. We had our own parking spot right at the short path to where we stayed. The place was clean. Had welcome candies! Lots of space in all of the rooms. We right away felt at home. There were a few items missing in the kitchen (a can opener and scissors), I sent a message seeing if we could get some for the next evening when we would need to use them, and she replied right away and had them to us the next day. (We cooked all our breakfast and dinners, and made our lunches for the road. 20 minutes from the harbour. It was a busy road, so we pulled in, and then went out in the evening when it was less busy to back the car in, making it easy to leave in the mornings. The place had AC, but we found we did not need it as it was cooler in the evening, and it is a basement apartment, so it's already cooler making it perfect for sleeping. Beds were comfortable. One room had a nice desk in it, so if you are traveling for work then there is a great space for you. We had been on the road for 9 days, so having laundry right in our unit was one of the reasons we picked this place. It made it easy to do a few loads while relaxing in the living room, or while making dinner. There were hangers in the closets so I could hang clothes that I don't put in the drying. We would definitely book again.
