The place was very clean. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Plenty of bathroom towels. All needed supplies were available and the host responded fast to any inquiry. The location was amazing and the neighborhood is quiet. But as the unit is a basement apartment and we are light sleepers we could hear the steps of the people living upstairs. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Beverly, we loved your place.

Mixed feelings about this property... It was spacious, well-situated, and kinda clean. But you can definitely hear the upstairs neighbors. One night, it honestly felt like they were moving furniture around at 1 AM. Good communication with the host.

We were surprised to learn about the noise concern only through this review, as we checked in during your stay to ask whether everything was okay and no issue was reported. Had we been informed at the time, we would have had the opportunity to investigate and address the concern immediately. We had a comfortable stay, and the suite had all the amenities we needed to make our visit relaxing and convenient. The thoughtful extras, including milk and water upon arrival, were a lovely touch and made us feel welcome. Communication with Bev was clear, friendly, and responsive during our stay.As this is a basement suite, you may hear some noise from the people upstairs. The property is also located on a busy street. We found it easiest to back into the parking space so we could pull out safely when leaving.Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend this property.

Rooms and bathrooms are clean, the host is responsive, cooperative. The house is comfortable. The house is on a main Street, buses are accessible. Close stores. The house is a basement, so you hear footsteps at night. Overall it was great.

Rooms are clean, the host is wonderful and responsive. The host will provide what ever is necessary for the guests comfort. Washing machine and dryer are excellent. Microwave and fridge too. The A/C is functioning. The dishwasher is good. The house is warm, friendly quiet neighborhood. The bus stop is infront of the house.The stove needs to be replaced, a bit old. Everything was great. We had a wonderful time in Halifax. The property was clean, and prepare for us with a well stocked kitchen. Our host had coffee and tea set up for us. The beds were comfortable and the quilt was perfect. We highly recommed the property, you will not be disappointed.

We are seniors. We didn’t realize that we were to enter through a side entrance and a light wasn’t on. It did cause confusion when we arrived in the dark. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again 😊

The communication with the hostess was excellent. She reached out with a lovely welcome letter when we booked. 3 days before our stay she gave us the code and simple instructions needed to gain access. We had our own parking spot right at the short path to where we stayed. The place was clean. Had welcome candies! Lots of space in all of the rooms. We right away felt at home. There were a few items missing in the kitchen (a can opener and scissors), I sent a message seeing if we could get some for the next evening when we would need to use them, and she replied right away and had them to us the next day. (We cooked all our breakfast and dinners, and made our lunches for the road. 20 minutes from the harbour. It was a busy road, so we pulled in, and then went out in the evening when it was less busy to back the car in, making it easy to leave in the mornings. The place had AC, but we found we did not need it as it was cooler in the evening, and it is a basement apartment, so it's already cooler making it perfect for sleeping. Beds were comfortable. One room had a nice desk in it, so if you are traveling for work then there is a great space for you. We had been on the road for 9 days, so having laundry right in our unit was one of the reasons we picked this place. It made it easy to do a few loads while relaxing in the living room, or while making dinner. There were hangers in the closets so I could hang clothes that I don't put in the drying. We would definitely book again.

A very cozy clean basement apartment in the vicinity with all amenities that you may need. Shopping, NSLC, restaurants etc. A short jaunt to Dartmouth and Halifax. You may experience a visit from the local beautiful wildlife. We had the pleasure of seeing a mom and fawn munching on the lawn.Highly recommended.

The space was clean & provided everything we needed for our trip. The location was close to Sunnyside Mall that had a great fresh market for food. Communication was excellent with the owner.
