This semi-oceanfront home offers easy beach access directly across the street and wide ocean and dune views from the upper deck. New primary bath for 2026 with walk in shower and double vanity. The open and bright reverse floor plan offers great gathering space on the top floor and plenty of room for multiple cooks. The second floor has two primary bedrooms with king beds and private full baths, one queen bedroom with private half bath, bedroom with a bunk set and twin, and additional full hall bath. Relax on the second level deck in the hot tub and listen to the ocean waves. The lower floor has a game room, laundry, and additional primary bedroom with full bath, bunk set, and twin. The lower level has new LVP floors as of 2025 and the game room is perfect for entertaining the kids on rainy days. Great for families. Kitchen is fully stocked, linens, towels, gas grill, beach tent and beach games, and 4 beach chairs included.

Had the best time at our house! Our host Sara was super communicative and easy to get a hold of! Great access to the beach, plenty of space for our extended family in the house, and great location to grocery stores, shopping and restaurants!

Wonderful beach house with lots of extras

Our family had a great vacation staying at this property. The house was clean and inviting - the upstairs with the open floor plan was a great place to hang out. We appreciated the excellent location - near the beach, the grocery store, restaurants, and more. We used the bikes, the hot tub, the beach chairs, the games. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a large group - love the fiesta ware! Sara was great with communication and gave clear instructions. We would love to stay here again some time!

Great family week at the OBX

Take 5 was spacious, clean, comfortable, and convenient. We had a wonderful week with our family with lots of beach time, some fishing and biking, and a little golf!

Fun Off-season

My family came in from Colorado for a beach vacation and we enjoyed our time in this home. There was wind and rain but smiles all around. Location was perfect, very short walk to the beach. If we head back to The Outer banks we will love to stay at this location again. Thank you Sara!

Great house, location and owner

We had a wonderful week! Sara was really responsive to a couple issues due to previous guests. The house had everything we needed and more, but best part was literally right over dune and at the beach!! We will be back😍

We had an amazing week at this beach house. Communication with Sara before and during our stay was perfect, she even was able to communicate with the cleaning crew and get us into the house early before the 4pm check-in time. The house was 25 yards from the beach access, in a small community with no public beach access so there was plenty of space on the beach. 5 bedrooms helped our two families spread out. Large jacuzzi helped us unwind after long day at beach. Warm water outdoor shower was clutch. House was well stocked with board games, books and puzzles. Short walking distance to Harris Teeter shopping center in Corolla. We'd definitely spend another week at this house again in the future.

An amazing experience

working with Sara was nothing short of splendid. we had great communication and her accommodating nature made our interactions smooth and effortless. The prime location of her property, a stone's throw away from the beach and conveniently close to essential amenities like supermarkets and restaurants, enriched our stay and added an element of convenience to it. We will definitely contemplate staying there again!

Great House

We stayed with two families of six including several teenagers. We loved the big open third floor room, full size dining table, and many big bedrooms with their own bathrooms. It was very comfortable for twelve of us. It was perfectly clean, which is rare. The internet worked great for all our phones, laptops, TVs, and game systems. The house has a very comfortable feeling. Hot tub was great on cold evenings. Proximity to the beach was great. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies, games, bikes, beach chairs, etc. It’s high on our list to stay again.

Exceptional Experience!

What a wonderful beach home! I have stayed at many VRBOs and rentals in many different places, and I must say that Sara (the owner) went above and beyond to make sure our visit was everything we needed it to be. My type A personality was thoroughly impressed by the spotless, organized, well-stocked, tastefully decorated and finished house. Gorgeous views of the ocean, sparkling hot tub, and only a few steps to the beach (which was so important with little kids); several streaming TVs, bikes, games, and every kitchen convenience you could dream of. We encountered unexpected issues with weather (snow on the beach!), and Sara always responded immediately to all of our needs with grace and flexibility. It is quite evident that this beach home is very well cared for and that the owners have high standards of care and customer service. Absolutely lovely time; would go back today if we could!

Spacious property and excellent location!

The house exceeded our expectations in many ways!!! Super clean, the proximity to the beach, extremely spacious, lots of extras (beach chairs, laundry, bath towels, garbage bags…ect) . The beds were all very comfortable, and the air conditioning kept all of the floors cool. We had 10 adults, and we all fit perfectly! We like to place games and all eat together, the huge dining room table was perfect!!!!!The hot tub and hammock were fantastic, and the decks were awesome! For you cooks… the kitchen had more gadgets, glasses, large bowls, blenders, pots and pans ( large and small) than mine at home;) with lots and lots of counter top space. We would highly recommend this property!!!!

Wonderful beach house steps from the ocean!

We rented this house for the wedding party of my daughter who got married on the beach. The house was excellent. Everything was very clean, abundant bedrooms, and space to be together or have private time. Decks were great place to relax and hot tub was added benefit.

Great house for a family beach vacation

This was our second year at Take 5. Our entire family could find room to sit and relax in the 3rd floor living space, and the owners have replaced some of the furniture with more comfortable options. The kitchen has everything you could need, and there is a picnic table on the deck. Access to the beach is easy as can be, which is important when you have small children in the family. We are well pleased with Take 5!

Spacious house w/ beach access that can’t be beat!

Sara was a wonderful host! So helpful and quickly responded to any questions or concerns. We unfortunately arrived to a cold front in May, but the house had plenty of space, games, and a hot tub to make the most of it. Also the tennis court one block away was a plus for outdoor activities when the beach wasn’t nice! But the Sun came out for the last couple days and the beach and water were perfection. Beach access is steps from the driveway. Dunes blocked some of the ocean views, but they also provided much needed protection from the wind and sea levels during the stormy days! Hands down a wonderful vacation spot.

Friends Reunion Getaway

The rental process was simple, clear, no stress. The descriptions and photos of this property were exactly what we found upon arrival! The 5 of us had a ball, could spread out throughout this huge house when desired, enjoyed the short trek to the beach several times a day, ate and shopped in town, but often just lazed around the house enjoying the view and sounds of the beach. It was a heavenly break from our busy lives and we couldn't thank Sara, our host, enough for her attentive care!

AMAZING!!

This please is a slice of heaven. It is so close to the beach and has the best layout. We love to rent different VBROs and have never rented the same place twice. We are already talking about booking for next year.

Perfect location, wonderful house!

The house is exactly what we expected. Very clean and well maintained. Plenty of space to sprawl out, view of the ocean and listening to the waves while having our morning coffee was great. Location is perfect, the beach is just a few steps via the boardwalk path. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen has plenty of supplies for whatever you need for cooking. Hot tub was a must! Weather was good during the day but chilly at night, was nice to hang out and relax. Owner was GREAT to work with! Communication was top notch, provided great recommendations and answered all emails in a very timely manner. I would recommend this property to my friends and family.

Loved our stay!

Take 5 was the best stocked house we have ever stayed in! The kitchen (with well labeled cabinets and shelves) had everything we needed and then some. Not to mention the extra cleaning supplies, a nice touch in the times of COVID with multiple people staying at the house. It was clean, well decorated, spacious and comfortable. The location to the beach was ideal, we loved being so close without feeling on top of anyone. The hot tub was also one of the cleanest we've seen! It was a big hit with our group. Our host was super helpful, very fast with communicating check in information, weather alerts and answering our questions. Thank you so much for housing our vacation!

Amazing experience!

The owner, Sara, is so open and communicative! She truly wants you to have an amazing stay. The house was spotless, stocked kitchen with any tool or cookware you might need, amazing views from the deck. Simply awesome.

We fell in love with Take 5 immediately. It just feels like home. The comfortable spaces and beautiful views, the ocean breeze on the decks and the nice small community of Ocean Sands D. The convenience to Harris Teeter is great too!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This isn't your cookie cutter home, the kitchen is stocked with everything you would need, the beds are comfy and the walk to beach is 2 minutes. Ocean access boardwalk is directly across the street. We have a local cleaning service that only services a few houses and the owner lives in section D and checks the house after every cleaning - it's the same mother/daughter team that cleans for us every week. They know the house inside and out and take great pride in their work. We are so lucky to have found them!
