Great home to rent

We stayed at this property for a month and had a great time. The home is well appointed and we particularly enjoyed the porch area (with TV and fireplace). The community and amenities are top-notch, including the fenced off-leash park. We will definitely return to the Cottages at Osoyoos

WOW Wine weekend

Spacious, comfortable beds, nice size kitchen. Great for a friend’s weekend. Would have loved a little table on the patio. We spent a lot of time there. Loved the sun room.

Great week!

Our group of 7 had an amazing week. The house is well equipped, the community amenities are fantastic and our dog loved the off leash areas! The haul to the beach is a bit cumbersome if you have lots of beach toys (which we did) but we figured it out. Cycling out of the complex is a bit annoying due to having to cross multiple cattle grates but in the grand scheme of things, it was a pretty minor inconvenience. Definitely recommend and would go back!

Great , just water issues

Great host and place! I only had an issue with the brown water. i was told it’s safe to drink & they’ve had issues with drinking water in the past. the fridge filter was overdue. Our choice to purchase more water but definitely not something we were comfortable with.

Great house for a family stay

We recently stayed at this house for 3 weeks and found the host to be very responsive to communication leading up to our booking and whilst we were at the house. The house was great for our family and could easily accommodate more people if we needed. Some of the property amenities were not available in the winter (bbq, fire pit, sunroom was too cold) which is why I didn’t give the accuracy of listing full marks. Also some house rules weren’t communicated until receiving the check-in details, so we had to make accommodations (I.e. unable to leave a pet in the house on its own). The grounds of the Cottages were well maintained during unseasonable snowfall. We would stay here again.

Beautiful

This was a lovely house to stay in and the furnishings are all very comfortable. This house is very nicely decorated and has everything one would need for an extended stay. John was excellent at communicating with us and helped to solve a few minor glitches. Our only criticism of this rental is the extra charge for overnight guests. We rented the entire house for two months but would have to pay an additional $30.00 per night per person for our family to visit. This extra charge just seemed like a money grab to us!

Perfect space for a two-family getaway

Loved the option of two master suites, along with the den room, which was perfect for teenagers. Overall excellent accommodations.

Sunshine and wine in the Okanagan

We booked this property for our annual weeklong family vacation in the Okanagan. Everything was as described, with lots of space, good kitchen supplies, comfortable beds in all bedrooms, and easy access to the amenities provided at The Cottages. Quick access to the many wineries on the Golden Mile bench. Shopping in Osoyoos is a 15 minute drive away. Our daughter’s 11-month old puppy also recommends the designated dog beach and onsite dog park! We were very pleased with this property and would happily return for another relaxing visit.

Cycle , golf and wineries

Hassle free rental with plenty of room for 5 adults. Nice area to start and finish cycling, only a few kilometres South of Burrowing Owl. Though recommend Phantom Creek a few minutes up Black Sage Rd.

Sooo Perfect

This was the perfect place for spending time with family, vary spacious with great attention to deal. Very well equipped kitchen and top notch appliances. Nice private patio area, the weather did not cooperate so we were only able to use it a couple of days. Probably the best thing was how clean the entire property was, inside and outside. We are planning our stay for next year. Highly recommend! The only thing that would have made life a little easier is a little stool to get on the upstairs bed. There was one for the downstairs bed which my sister-in-law used, but I just purchased a folding stool and will leave in my car for future travels.

First winter stay in Osoyoos

My husband and I enjoyed our five week stay at this property. The home is lovely and the community is upscale, well maintained, quiet and safe. The home is very well equipped with high end furniture, bedding and kitchen supplies. Our adult children and one grandchild came to stay for a week and there was more than enough room for all of us. Our little dog loved his morning walks on the paths of the community and there was ample room to roam and enjoy the views of the hillsides and the lake - very serene. We enjoyed the clubhouse and made good use of the gym which is nicely equipped, as well as the book and puzzle cupboard. The property manager John was very responsive and helpful which always make a VRBO stay better. We did have to call twice; once to inquire about more propane for the BBQ which he delivered within a very short time and the second time the electronic key pad on the door stopped working and he arrived very quickly to change batteries and help us out. One comment we would make about the location is that to walk for a coffee or to any close by attractions is not really possible, and while we did know that before we went, it was more inconvenient for us than we thought it would be. We both run and as the weather was quite nice while we were there, we wanted to take advantage of running outside. The road outside of the community is a bit tough to run or walk on due to the amount of traffic coming and going on the road. We definitely give this property a five star rating as it is just as advertised and a wonderful experience.

Desert sun

It was a wonderful property to stay at. It is a very quiet area with beautiful views. It is very close to Osoyoos and Oliver with great shopping in both areas

Great place for family fun and relaxation

This is our second time coming to this property and we were just as happy as the first time! They have everything you would need or want for your stay. It’s very clean and fully stocked with towels, kitchen supplies, kids toys etc… The property manager John is quick to respond to any questions. Thank you for everything!

Highly recommend

We loved the accommodations, the community and the surrounding areas. The house was inviting and had most everything we needed. The entire Cottages property is safe, spacious, private and has lots of walking areas. We loved being here. It is winter and not lake weather but it was still perfect for being outside. There is a great eco reserve about 5 km from the complex with a channel and walking paths on each side. Close to many golf courses and wineries. We hope to return in future.

Thanksgiving

A perfect accommodation for our family of 6 adults & a 17 yr old. Lots of bedrooms & bathrooms—- big bonus, roomy kitchen, so nobody telling anyone to get out their way. Very posh. Everyone loved it & would return again.
