Welcome to Bundaleer, a beautifully renovated chalet nestled in the sought-after Woodridge area of Thredbo. Just a 5-minute walk from Friday Flats, the leisure centre, and bus stops, this stunning retreat offers the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience.

Inside, you'll find a gourmet kitchen, fully equipped for entertaining, along with a spacious dining area featuring a large table that comfortably seats 12+ guests. Relax by the stone gas fireplace, or step outside to enjoy the outdoor BBQ area.

Bundaleer boasts five well-appointed bedrooms,
Practical features include a large boot/drying room to keep your ski gear organised, as well as a washer and dryer for added convenience. Outside, there's plenty of flat bushland where kids can play, and level parking for three cars right at the front door.

Whether you're visiting in winter for the slopes or in summer for the alpine scenery, Bundaleer is the perfect mountain escape for families and groups alike.

Great little getaway

The proprietor was very prompt, courteous and helpful before and during our stay. Gave us all pertinent information regarding address, where the keys would be located and what we could expect. Also gave us some information about surrounding area with things to do as well as some nice restaurants that he recommended. The little golf course was a treat and so much fun to chip and putt around on. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fun get away

Very nice condo, it worked very good for my wife and I. Its right on a canal, so we'd sit out there in the morning and see ducks, fish and turtles. Everyone in the development was nice as well. Wish we would've had a chance to golf the 9 holes that are in amongst the units(there were clubs in the condo, even lefties for my wife). It looked like a fun little course and you only need a wedge and a putter. Its also a short walk to get down on the beach as well. Check in/out was very easy. Would definitely stay again!

Nice place with space

Overall everything was good. Clean and close to everything. Beautiful white sand beaches and good stores, restaurants, and boardwalk. Yes a bit dated and needs some upgrades, but everything is clean and nice. King bed very comfortable. Great for several night stay!

Winter vacation

I have thought long and hard about whether or not to write this review. The owner requested that we not ! However, I would truly hate to see others have a similar experience. Based on the ratings that we saw online, everything appeared to be great. The unit definitely needs some updating, but our biggest concern was the lack of cleanliness !! Furniture, carpet, towels, bed linens were all stained and dirty. I even took pictures and sent to the owner to ensure he knew what his unit looked like. We bought several items at target because we weren’t comfortable sitting on the dirty, stained sofapoint. point. The po.

Worst Rental Experience Ever!

Let me start off by saying we have stayed at Sandpiper Cove on a number of occasions and have always had a great experience. This time however turned out to be the worst rental experience we have ever had here or anywhere we have stayed in the world! When we arrived at the property it was a complete mess! Beds still unmade from the previous guest, dead roaches in the bathroom, dirty towels stacked on the washing machine and a toilet with water so brown you couldn't see through it! When my wife saw the condition of the bathroom she ran out and said we are NOT staying in this condo! Not to mention the dirty walls in the bedroom, dirty floors and a disgusting living room rug that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 20 yrs! I had to call VRBO and get the owners phone number since he wouldn't respond to emails so we could inform him we were not staying in his condo and wanted a refund. The only plus is that we did receive a refund, but we had to stay in a hotel our first night since it was too late to book another condo after check-in time. If you are considering staying at Sandpiper, I would advise you stay away from this one and book with someone else.

Wish I could stay forever!!

My husband and I had a 3 night stay here and fell in love! Walking distance to multiple pools and the ocean. Everything else was a few minutes away. The place was just perfect for the 2 of us. Few things are a little dated but overall very clean and just overall amazing! The view was beautiful and the area was nice and quiet. We seriously want to own one of these condos one day we loved it that much! Only downfall was we couldn’t get the back door to lock and screen was bent. However, didn’t have an issue with bugs or anything!! Will stay here again, no doubt!

Wonderful condo.

We have been staying at Jim's condo almost every single year. It is very nice, clean, accessible and very affordable. We reay treasure this place and plan to stay in the future. We never ever had any things to complain about. It is well kept and we feel like home. Thank you Jim for allowing us to enjoy your wonderful place and the beauiful surroundings.

Summer Sunshine

We enjoyed our stay. Condo is a great little place to make memories. AC works great and we had enough room to get some sleep at night and hit the beach again. Jim is a great host and great with communication.

Just a couple of things that would have been nice while we were there, sheets for the hide a bed couch, roll away was broken and didn't have sheets either. The sliding patio doors did not lock, and there were only x2 towels and wash cloths for the entire week. Other than that, it was a good time, not as close to the beach, you have to drive there.

perfect for our simple needs

The condo had a nice view of the canal. Easy to walk to the beach and restaurant. Tennis & Pickle ball courts are available. The king size bed was wonderful!! I found two great books to read also. We felt safe in our surroundings also. Very close to all kinds of shopping needs.

The condo was very nice and the place was safe and secure. I would have prefer the beach closer and please let the host know that he needs to send directions because the condo is very hard to find. We were lost for over 20 minutes finally the guard gave us a map with directions. The numbers on the buildings are all messed up and it is hard to find but all in all it was great

Nice condo on the canal. Easy access to the beautiful beach. Small problem was quickly taken care of by property owner. Birds, fish, turtles galore just below your balcony. Very nice, reasonably priced.

I highly recommend this as a place to stay

There were a few minor issues when we first arrived but the owner promptly had them taken care of. The condo itself is in a great area and is actually more spacious than it looks in the pictures. My girlfriend and I both truly enjoyed our stay and will be looking to see if it's available the next time we take a trip to Destin.

Jim’s place is amazing and we had a wonderful time. Thanks SO much Jim and we look forward to next year if you’ll have us again. It was a home away from home. The neighbors from Michigan were very nice and helpful on local amenities, restaurants, etc.

Nice, simple stay!

We had a nice time staying at this place in Destin! The condo is small but was just what we needed for a few days. We really enjoyed the amenities of the complex - on the canal, golf, pickleball, tennis, pools, etc. The TV only had cable so fortunately we had a firestick to use - keep this in mind if you'll want to watch movies and such while there. The kitchen materials were sufficient for our stay and a good set of dishes. The pans in the kitchen were definitely older so a little more sticky. Plenty of amenities right nearby just in case you need to run out for something (walmart, target, publix, etc.).
