This Beautiful studio is actually in Venice Beach, just a block from the beach (it's showing up wrong on the map here) The studio was recently remodeled and has a new kitchen and new flooring, a queen bed, a private bathroom, seating and a Roku TV. It's in a safe and secure building, and you can walk to the beach, to Venice Boardwalk, Santa Monica Pier, etc. You'll love it!

Located in Venice Beach, just a block from the beach and boardwalk! Safe and secure building, in a great area, just blocks from restaurants, bars, shopping, and the sand!

The place needs a woman’s touch, everything so basic, a large rug would have been nice, the tv didn’t work and it needs a new microwave badly! The bed was okay for a night. Parking is a nightmare. Ended up getting my car towed, with the Uber and fees it was 500. Didn’t even get to the beach. The host communication was okay. Would I stay again, sorry I would not.

The property was very clean and the neighbors were friendly. The close walk to the beach is very convenient. The host was available to answer any question. It’s a great place and would definitely recommend!

Excellent Location

The studio is perfectly situated 2 minutes from the sand! Quiet, safe neighborhood and so much to do and see just down the block. Easy checkin with gate and door codes. Great host communication.

Fun Location!

We were so happy to find this studio and Justin, our host, was great to work with. The studio is cute and spacious, and the location is everything wonderful. We would absolutely happily stay here again.

Clean, Cozy & Great Location

Unit was very clean and comfortable. Great location; you can see the beach at then of the block. Short walk to Venice Beach (3-5 minutes) and shopping district (Brooks Ave turns into Abbot Kinney Blvd, 15-20 minute walk). 20-30 scenic minute walk to the canals. Belles is a great Tiki Bar, 15-20 walk. Parking was a challenge. However, I was able to consistently find parking on Westminster east of Main Street even late at night, a 10-15 minute walk, near the elementary school. I would definitely stay here again

Vacation 24 xmas

Noisy neighbors upstairs I understand that we were in an apartment house. We had rules to be quiet and we were but had to get ahold of the host to have him quiet down the upstairs people. The last night there they were noisy until 2:20 am. Found a pair of reading glasses that had been there for awhile. The bathroom shower curtain had mold on it. Otherwise not too bad

Worst stay ever

This property is deceptively advertised. There is no parking. It’s in Venice, not Marina Del Rey. It’s a crappy little studio with no charm. The heater didn’t work so I only had a space heater. The other guests were extremely loud. There was dust everywhere and the floors were dirty. The “host” promised me a 50% refund but never followed through.

Location Location Location

I stayed at this property for about 1 week. It is beautiful. Newly renovated 1 block from beach parking spot check check check. It is as appears in photos as a studio with a small kitchenette. There is a lot to do in the area, very desirable. Restaurants, walks, sunsets, marina, Venice! They just opened a Trader Joes close by as well. One small gem about MDR is there is a free shuttle for locals to take within MDR. Highly recommend downloading the app and remember to tip the driver! The unit was a 10 out of 10. The only 2 issues I came across was more with the building. 1)The upstairs tenants have a child and you can hear every step on the ceiling for a good amount of the day 2)The dumpster was locked the entire stay there and there were no other garbage cans around the building. I was able to leave the trash for the person cleaning but would have taken out myself.

good location, decent price, decent overall

For the price compared to other places around, it was pretty good. Check in was really easy! This is located steps from northern Venice beach and not more South like the listing states so that’s not accurate. But either way location is prime! Lots to do and see. Just street parking and that’s super difficult to find right now in the summer/maybe all the time. Sometimes had to park 15+ minutes walk away. It is easy to just park out front with hazards on for a bit to drop off luggage/groceries. Upstairs neighbor and their child have mastered the art of stomping around as loud as possible, lol. My favorite was when the kid woke up at 6am and decided to throw a ball around, but thankfully for the most part they were quiet during sleeping hours. The place was pretty clean but the place has been a bit worn down since the pictures. Scuffs on the baseboards/walls etc but that’s not a dealbreaker.

This was my first time staying in California ever. I don’t think in the future I’d stay in the Venice beach area tho. It is not my scene and I’d probably like to enjoy the area 1-2 days max as opposed to a week. We were lucky enough to find this decent stay close to the beach. I wanted something like that with a nice strip of restaurants and bars. Venice has all of that. Good people watching too. The location is great and the host was quick to respond. However, I had a few issues. I felt as if the place was not the cleanest. The towels smelled like they had been left out wet and smelled slightly moldy. The linens and blankets did not seem clean or smell clean at all. The bathroom was not the cleanest either. We had requested new towels and had never gotten them. I did want to mention that most of our stay we had horrible upstairs neighbors that were loud all hours of the night. There are thin walls here. If you like the vibe of Venice beach and want a close walk to the boardwalk, this is a decent place. Beware of the thin walls tho!

For the cost, this was okay. The location is great but otherwise, the place is underwhelming. The walls were dirty, the microwave had cracks and burns in it, the stove didn't work, the shower curtain was on backwards, the TV didn't work, and you can't see outside because the windows are glass blocks. I appreciated that I didn't have to do dishes before leaving and I loved the location.

Perfect location

Everything was good. It’s a good location and close to a lot. We were able to walk/ride bikes to so many areas. We also appreciated the notes of where we could park overnight.

THE Place!

Location, location, location...and location! Just steps away from all the action of Venice beach! I stayed 2 nights, and honestly wish I could have stayed longer. I was interested in coffee shops n food, and the owner gave me recommendations...and I absolutely had some of the best street tacos ever @ Teddy's Reds, which was walking distance away. I spent most of my afternoons walking around checking out the beach. Muscle Beach was just a few hundred yards away, as well as the infamous Venice Skatepark. Awesome, awesome stay! Only complaint would be, the A/C unit filter was really dirty, and at night you could hear the neighbors above walking around...but those were honestly minor issues. Definitely would stay again!

THIS is the place! Perfect location for a a getaway or work stay over. So close to great food and literally next door to fantastic coffee and breakfast nosh. Private, quiet, comfortable. 100 steps to the fine beach sand - I’ll be back.

Fine for a short time

We had a ton of issues with the cleanliness of the apartment. The dishes in the cabinets weren’t clean, and the bathroom was dirty. It didn’t even seem like it was mopped or vacuumed. There was no broom or vacuum so we couldn’t even straighten up. There were black flies everywhere. Also the second night, we had someone put a chair in front of the door and we were unable to get into the apartment.i tried calling several people and no one answered for a good ten minutes. Good location, parking is hard to find. I wouldn’t recommend staying here
