Welcome to the Starfish Studio!
Discover your perfect beach escape where white sand and the Gulf meet comfort and convenience. Clean, quiet, and comfortable, this charming studio sits directly on the beach, offering a superior view of the sparkling Gulf and resort pool from the 5th floor.
We make beach days effortless: enjoy FREE daily beach chair and umbrella service (March-Oct)! Leave the bulky gear at home and simply walk to the sand with just a small bag.
Ideally sized for 1-4 guests, the studio offers a relaxing retreat with easy access to local attractions. There are numerous restaurants with great food/drinks and live music in the area (walking distance), and we're just a couple hundred yards down the beach from the highly anticipated new Tootsie's Orchid Lounge (opening Feb 2026).

~ Modern Interior: recently remodeled with LVP flooring, granite countertops, updated lighting, and a gorgeous walk-in shower.
~ Comfortable Sleeping: two comfortable queen beds
~ Amenities: kitchen area with all full-sized appliances, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, cookware/dishware/utensils, smart TV with HD service, dining table for four, and a large walk-in closet.
~ Easy Access: smaller, quieter resort with guaranteed parking for one car.

~ Views: enjoy a great view through our floor-to-ceiling window. There is NO PRIVATE BALCONY, but a large communal balcony with comfy chairs is just a few steps down the hall.
~ Booking Requirements: primary renter must be at least 21, sign a rental agreement, and be present for the stay. A $200 refundable damage deposit hold is required.
~ Resort Fee: a $30 one-time resort fee is paid to the resort upon arrival and includes a parking pass.
~ Policies: maximum 4 guests. No pets, emotional support animals (ESAs), or visitors allowed.

We are Megan & John Hicks from Johns Creek GA, and we manage our two rental condos under the name Sun and Sand PCB. We have long been avid travelers, heading everywhere from the beaches to the ski slopes, enjoying popular areas as well as more remote ones in the U.S., Mexico, Caribbean, and Europe. With such a passion for travel, we had a desire to own vacation homes for our enjoyment as well as others'.

We love Panama City Beach, having visited here for many years. We knew we wanted to own a condo directly on the Gulf and wanted a place that was perfect for a couple or family. Top of the Gulf was perfect--the complex is so well maintained and it has all the amenities we look for in a beach vacation destination--a great pool, a great location directly on the beach, grills to use if we want, and a Surf Shack with snacks and drinks. All the extras just put it over the top for us and we knew guests would love it too.

The grounds and landscaping are beautifully maintained, creating a serene environment for your vacation. Dive into the stunning pool, perfect for all ages, or let the little ones splash safely in the dedicated toddler pool. Ample pool chairs ensure you always find a spot to soak up the sun.

~ Poolside Amenities: Grab food, drinks, and snacks at the onsite shack, and fill your cooler easily with an on-site ice maker. There is no hot tub but a toddler pool is available for kiddos.
