The Archer Retreat is a spacious, full DIY venue perfect for large group gatherings, events, or celebrations. With expansive indoor and outdoor areas, it offers flexible accommodation, catering facilities, and event spaces tailored to your needs. Ideal for weddings, retreats, reunions, or workshops, guests have the freedom to create their own unique experience. The Archer Retreat is where unforgettable group memories are made.

The Archer Retreat is a versatile 24-acre nature-based venue nestled at the base of Mount Archer in South East Queensland, approximately an hour north of Brisbane. With 12 acres of manicured grounds and panoramic views of the Glass House Mountains, it offers a tranquil setting ideal for large group gatherings, events, or celebrations.

Accommodation and Facilities
Main Guest House: A spacious four-bedroom homestead featuring five beds (including four king singles and a queen), a full kitchen, open-plan dining and living areas, and a front veranda with stunning mountain views.

Cabins: Five rustic, character-filled cabins—three two-bedroom cabins (Moonlight Mews, The Glasshouse and The Potter's House) and two one-bedroom cabins (Cowboy Cabin and Rodeo Ridge) — each with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and either garden or mountain views. Many cabins also include kitchenettes, private decks, and outdoor fire pits—perfect for enjoying starry nights. Please note there is one cabin onsite which is not included (Howies Hut). There is also a caravan on site where caretakers live.

Event Hosting Capabilities
The Archer Retreat is well-suited for hosting large events, with expansive indoor and outdoor areas that can be tailored to your needs. The 12 acres of manicured grounds provide ample space to set up marquees or tents, making it ideal for weddings, retreats, reunions, or workshops (Extra charges apply for event hosting).

Additional Features
Outdoor Amenities: Guests can enjoy bushwalking, birdwatching, and relaxing by the dam. The retreat's proximity to Somerset Dam also offers opportunities for fishing and water activities.

Onsite Management: A friendly on-site caretaker is available if needed, ensuring a tranquil and memorable retreat.

A $1,000 security bond is required on the day of check-in and will be held as a credit card authorisation. The bond will be released within seven days of checkout, subject to the property being left in good order.
