This was my 3rd time staying at Corkage. and every time is better than the last. Brand new fans have been installed in each bedrooms, with pull handles that can be reached by me at my height, and they are very, very quiet; allowing me to control the temperature and lighting. Also, room darkening curtains have been added to each window along with power strips next to each side of the bed for gadget charging.Anti-slip strips have been added to the walk-in shower base. They definitely seem to reduce the slip factor. A large ice maker has been added outside along with another refrigerator, providing plenty of refrigerator storage for longer stays. My companions and I enjoyed the fire side table each night of my visit, the glow, heat and ambience was perfect (with a cocktail) as the evening temperatures are starting to drop. My favorite time at Corkage though, is the mornings, where I take my coffee and toasted sourdough with homemade jelly (from the Welcome Basket) to the deck. It is so quiet except for the cheerful good morning conversations from my neighbors. I can read my book and watch the wildlife on the lake. And those of you wondering, yes sometime Frankie the neighborhood kitty comes by to say “Hi” too. I can’t wait for my 4th visit.
