Crooked Lake, Angola Indiana Large Waterfront Home-Family Vacation Retreat

Walk in and unpack in this clean, spacious, inviting home! Take a virtual tour (video in the photo section). The open floor-plan, main level boasts a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area, along with a great room that opens to the outdoor upper deck overlooking the lake. The master bedroom includes a large window and seating area to relax, along with an ensuite bathroom.

The upper level provides 3 more bedrooms, and a full bath with 2 private sink rooms. The third bedroom on this floor is perfect for the kids or teens, complete with twin beds, 2 sets bunk beds and play area with toys and books! Also upstairs there is a reading nook overlooking the great room to enjoy a book or relax and watch the sunset out the windows over the lake!

The large walkout lower level/entertainment area includes a ping pong table, television and provides lots of room to gather together for games and fun! This room opens to the lower outdoor deck for shaded relaxing too! The 5th bedroom and full bath are located here as well.

Crooked Lake is an 800 acre all sports lake with 3 large connecting basins.The home is located on the 3rd basin, which enjoys a reputation for being one of the best 2 mile runs for skiing and wake boarding in the area complete with a slalom course! Pontoons regularly tour the basin. The fish are plentiful too! You can also just relax and enjoy watching the action from the decks or shore. Weekly 7 day rental runs Friday (4pm check-in) to Friday (10am check-out) from May 24th holiday week to Labor Day holiday week. Winter, spring, fall only require a 3 day minimum. Bring your water toys and/or boat (rentals available on the lake) and get ready to have a vacation to remember with family and friends!

Wonderful family vacation

We had a wonderful week at Bill and Connieā€™s lake house!!! They thought of everything that we may need or want for us to have a great week. The house is beautiful and there was plenty of room for our group. We loved watching the sunsets every night on one of their decks. The sandy beach and swimming area was great for the kids. Thank you so much for a wonderful week that we will never forget!!

Fun family time on Crooked Lake!

We had an amazing stay at the lake for our family get together/birthday celebration. The house was very clean, comfortable, and was equipped with everything we needed - including plenty of toys for the kiddos. The hosts were fantastic - very responsive and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. We'd highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and family-friendly getaway. We hope to be back soon!

Crooked lake at its best

We enjoyed staying at this house for a week with our family. They had everything we needed from kitchen supplies to toys for the kids to stuff to swim with.So really we didnā€™t have to bring much but food in ourselves in our suitsI would recommend any family staying here very beautiful home and the decks are phenomenal.The Sandy beach was a number one hit with our three year-old he loved it. It does have a lot of stairs, but we just took it as exercise. Thanks again for helping us make memories. We had fun.

Wonderful Lakehouse

We loved our week at this perfect spot. It was beautifully decorated, spacious, and had wonderful outdoor decks with great views. The lower level was perfect for the 4 teens to hang out. The younger three also had their perfect spot upstairs. The shed by the lake had everything you need for a beach vacation including a lily pad, and a large assortment of life jackets. We rented a 24 foot pontoon and it was easily docked at the pier and the knee board and wake board were used by all 7 grandchildren! But the most appreciated part was the ability to text Connie any questions and receive a prompt reply. She was wonderful!! Thank you Connie and Bill for sharing your lovely home with us for our yearly summer vacation!

The house was very clean. Plenty of room for a lot of people. Loved sitting on the deck with the patio fire place. Kids loved swimming in the water and fishing off the dock. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Had a wonderful time. Would definately recommend it.

Great family vacation!

The house and property were enjoyed by our kids and grandkids. The house included the essentials you need for a vacation house. A lot of toys for entertainment for the young ones. Was even able to catch a few fish off the dock. Bill and Connie were very accommodating as we needed to re-schedule due to a hurricane in our home state of Florida. Would highly recommend this house for your next vacation.

Wonderful Memories

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lake house property where there was plenty of room and so many things to do for both adults and children inside and out. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. Everything was very clean. Bill and Connie were quick to respond to any inquiries we may have had. The house worked well for our group. We hosted a sibling reunion which included four brothers and our wives. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the fire table on the deck off the main floor and used it every night. We had children and grand children visit one day during our five-day stay and they loved it. We rented a pontoon for two of the days which provided great fun and memories for us all. We rented the boat from 101 Lakes Pontoon Rentals, and they were great to work with. Their boat was immaculate and they delivered it directly to the property's pier. Very convenient. All the things necessary for a relaxing vacation were provided. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with the necessary items. There was plenty of space for people to congregate, and to separate when desired. The kids loved the children's room which was large and stocked full of toys. The hosts Bill and Connie were excellent to work with, very accommodating. They quickly responded to all of our questions, both prior to arrival and during our stay. I highly recommend them.

Relaxing home with tons of space

Really loved this place. Great collection of toys for kids both in the house and at the water. We loved having 2 living spaces one on the ground floor near the kitchen and one in the basement for the kids with games toys and a tv. The older people with us had trouble with the hill from the boat dock to the house, the incline followed by the stairs was a bit much for them. We rented a boat for the week, it was a large pontoon and it did fit on the dock. Would absolutely return and recommend.

Wonderful Weekend Stay

We are absolutely thrilled with our choice of this home for Trine graduation weekend. Connie and Bill were over the top accommodating. Their beautiful home on the water allowed us to have an amazing celebration with a few friends and family. It was relaxing, amazing setting where we all enjoyed our time. Their home is immaculate and everything you need they have in property. The are very responsive to anything you may need or want. I would definitely return and have already recommended to other Trine families this beautiful home on Crooked lake. Family Summer Fun

We have rented a number of properties through VRBO and this was indeed one of the best. Great place for family, with children. The communication from Bill and Connie was excellent. The description of the property and all the "extras" was excellent. The access to the shed by the lake was a huge plus as was the amaziing play room for the kids. The only concern was the deck with the metal wires made us a little nervous with the younger grandkids. Like I mentioned before the place was excellent. One other side note; the neighbors were very friendly and made the stay even more enjoyable. I would recommend this to any group. Thanks again to Bill and Connie.

Amazing!

Bill and Connie are amazing hosts! We had the best time! They were easy to communicate with! Iā€™ve stayed at a lot of lake houses that pretty much just supplied the house. Not only was this house beautifully put together and the property beautiful but it had everything, we could have brought just the essentials. The house was fully stocked with pretty much everything you could need including a play pen for infants and the kids room had a bunch of toys, a basketball hoop out front, ping pong downstairs and a nice living area downstairs stocked with movies, so a rain day wouldnā€™t put a damper on the trip. The kids were never bored! Thereā€™s plenty of space that with large groups youā€™re not on top of each other, the downstairs is basically itā€™s own apartment. The garage out by the lake also had everything pool floats, noodles, life vests from infant to adult, kayaks for adults and children, surfboards for the kids, a tube for the boat, bags, sand toys, lily pad, multiple sets of skis and a training ski board. You name it they probably had it. We will definitely be back!

We met on the waterfront as teenagers and after 42 years of marriage, 3 children and 6 grandchildren and lots of "water" vacations, we decided that Crooked Lake provided all of the things we love to do as a family!

Our family vacationed many years on this lake and we love it! We love time on the water, skiing ,wake boarding and tubing and this lake is perfect for it! This home provides plenty of space for all the generations to gather together for a great vacation! It also provides enough room, privacy and comfort to wind down from a great day on the water!

We have thought of all the things families need and do not want to have to bring on vacation. We have a well equipped kitchen, many children's toys, books and games. The large lakeside deck allows for relaxation and spectacular views. Our shed at the waterfront is available for your use with lifejackets, skis, tube, ropes, refrigerator, kayaks and a sandpit at edge of water with sand toys. Dock space for your boat. Plenty of parking for your boat trailer and cars.
