North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. This home is ideally located within close proximity to numerous New Orleans landmarks including Jackson Square (1.5 Miles), Caesars Superdome/Smoothie King Center (0.9 Miles), The National WWII Museum (2.8 Miles), and the famous Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 (3.0 Miles).

Mid-City has a rhythm all its own - second-line parades echoing down oak-lined streets, the rumble of the Canal Streetcar two blocks away, the smell of chicory coffee drifting from neighborhood cafés. This bungalow puts you right in the middle of it, a bright and welcoming home base for everything New Orleans has to offer.
 
Living space
Natural light pours through the windows of this Mid-City bungalow, filling the living area with warmth and ease. Settle into the sofa for a movie night on the 43" HDTV with Netflix and your favorite streaming apps, or use the dedicated workspace - set in a private room with a door - to stay on top of emails between adventures. Central air conditioning, central heating, and ceiling fans keep the temperature just right year-round.
 
Sleeping arrangements
Two bedrooms offer restful retreats at the end of a long day, each dressed in soft linens with extra pillows and blankets on hand. Clothing storage is well covered with closets and dressers in each room. The full bathroom features a bathtub, shower, bidet, and hot water, with complimentary toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel.
 
Kitchen & dining
The chef's kitchen is genuinely stocked for cooking - Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, and toaster. Cooking basics, pots and pans, dishes, and silverware are all provided. Pull up a chair at the dining table and enjoy a home-cooked meal without any fuss.
 
Outdoor living
Step out onto the private balcony with your morning coffee and watch the neighborhood come alive. The lush, fenced yard offers a peaceful spot to decompress after a full day of exploring - and it's a great setup for guests traveling with pets.
 
Laundry & essentials
An in-unit washer and dryer mean you can pack lighter and stay longer. Hangers, an iron, cleaning products, fresh towels, and bed linens are all provided. Cleaning is also available during your stay if needed.
 
Family-friendly features
Traveling with little ones? A crib (mini, 38" x 24", sheets provided), pack 'n play/travel crib (sheets provided), folding high chair with padding, straps, and food tray, and baby safety gates are all available upon request.

Two blocks from the Canal Streetcar, you're walking distance to the Lafitte Greenway, neighborhood cafés, and live music. The French Quarter, City Park, and the Superdome are just minutes away. Winter visitors are ideally placed for NOLA ChristmasFest, New Year's Eve fireworks, the Allstate Sugar Bowl, Twelfth Night, Krewe du Vieux, and Mardi Gras Day - with the Endymion parade rolling right through the neighborhood.

Free parking is available on the premises and on the street. Self check-in is simple via smart lock, and exterior security cameras are in place for added peace of mind.
